    Ah, the Smartfly has sort of like a "carrier bearing" you'd find under a pickup truck holding up part of the driveshaft. That is, indeed, good support.

    The bearing in the Yoko looks like a THK Linear Motion (LM) Guide type rail and bearing. That would be a 4 contact type “roller bearing”. As far as I know the bearing type, specifically the balls, is not plastic but are steel. They are used in most automated machines. They are much quieter and usually last longer than the rod type bearings in the other yoke.
    Still was a good video Mike! Keep up the great work in keeping people informed.
    Do you think you will get a chance to at least test one of the CLS-60 force feedback yokes?

      Yes, that is indeed what they called it. To quote them, "Linear motion ball bearing block used on both rails (also called as pillow bearing)".

    Legal! Eu estou tentando fazer um manche com meu volante.. eu consegui ffb funcional no eixo x mas preciso criar um eixo y para a elevação e adaptar algo que deslize pra frente e pra trás no eixo do volante.. preciso de ideias
