... what if Amy REALLY was a cop? In my opinion, I think if Moffat really made her a police woman, that would have been an INTERESTING part of her character. It'd had fit with her feisty attitude, and we could have seen some AWESOME investigative banter between The Doctor and Amy, the Officer. Ah man, what a waste of an opportunity!
LPTV except police are important and she'd be a poor Companion as a result. This episode is framed around the Doctor not always matching departure and arrival times. Got Rory in trouble that way.
