Now I feel bad … like damn little dude only wanted a sip and I just wanted to use my Bow
Does it not stagnate?
I used to hunt many natural water sources when I was a kid and prefer natural vs "placed". Wish I had the money to buy some big acres, but I don't. Sad it is getting pretty hard to find public land that isn't crowded with sometimes irresponsible people.
Its my first year i bought rain barrels and doing the same thing about the same way and i had great results especially in bow and beginning of gun season when it was still hot here in N.C
The big buck reminds me of the dad of Bambi from the movie I used to watch
Great advice
Great informative video thanks
Glad it was helpful!
How much dose all of it cost
In my state you arent allowed to bait. Is this not considered bait? (I would assume not, but laws always seem to suprise me) 😅
Nice buck❤
Thank you this will help🙏🏻
Where do u purchase these pre made ponds?
earthblinds.com/ponds/
Where do I get one of these fiberglass earth ponds?
What do you do if it snows
Some states don't allow shooting at an animal while in a stream, crossing it, or drinking from it. Any animal has to drink water at least, once per Day!
I have been using kids pools for 10 years works awesome 😊
Not so much in Michigan….
We have water all over the place… especially on the land we hunt.
Lakes, ponds, swamps, large puddles, creeks…
so where u get the fiber glass
So I should start looking for deer near the water sources... got it, thanks (honestly, I hadn't thought of how much they drink)
Scrawny Whitetails. Muleys RULE!
I’m like 90% sure that hunting deer near or on water is illegal here in MO
Im not a deer hunter.....but i was coyote hunting open water on a cold winters day in iowa....had a big buck go broadside at 20yds 🥲🥲🥲🥲
What is he using to hold water. I can't find a product like that
Go to Earthblinds.com!
My property has a constant spring running down into 40 acres of swamp below me, then into a tributary lined with honeysuckle. Water don't help me, I have a big mineral lick and I'm planting kumquats!
I live in the Pacific Northwest - during hunting season you cant swing a dead cat without hitting water.
No wonder there's so much plastic particles in our drinking water.
Bros making a deer farm
Thanks for the information
I hunt next to two ponds, a huge river, and two spring fed creeks. What say you know Moses?
Great idea!
What if you dont have enough land or can only hunt public land
5 gallon bucket dug about 3in out of the ground.
Bro probably has bucks fenced in😂😂😂. Gotta love these types
Why would you say something like that? If you, or any other haters had any idea how hard this shit was you'd feel stupid saying that. Do you have any idea the work and resources that go into improving habitat on a farm? This guy worked his ass off to buy this farm and the jealous butthole in the crowd accuses him of hunting a fenced farm. Unreal.
We really appreciate how you understand the hardwork that goes into managing our properties. Some people just don't quite understand
100% Wild Whitetail Deer. It is what we like to call "property management".
What arrow is that
This is a great idea. I would probably need to put up one or two solar powered electric fence wires to keep raccoons out. I think raccoons would turn a nice little pond into a muddy mess.
All kinds of critters use our water holes!
Hopefully that’s a state where you can bait them - I would imagine water is bait 😂
I hunt over a small stream down in a valley where deer cross is that a good spot
And the best part is I don't think that counts as baiting, so if it's illegal to bait them in in your state, no worries. Water is water.
Nice!!
My blind is right next to a river crossing. Perfect spot.
No doubt man! Good luck out there.
Just use bentonite clay it seals the bottom, doesn't cost much. Comes in 50 pound bags
We will have to keep that in mind!
Ducks also work to make a natural liner
I'd like a big buck at any range lol
As a Indiana hunter unfortunately water for us is a everywhere you can't go 100 yards without hitting a creek
Here in FL if you don’t treat that water from mosquitoes rest in peace your life😂
Okie dokie. So how do I get big bucks close to me when I live and hunt in and around the swamp?
Archery or firearm?
What happens if you are in a cwd area
The ponds, lakes, and rivers of Texas have entered the chat!!!
