:: All money raised through this YT channel goes directly to my sons special needs school ::
My son, Bill, goes to gorgeous, tiny, little special needs school for gorgeous special children. Bill and his friends there all need just a little more care, attention, love and guidance to help them access friendships and education. Bill has autism (and a variety of other issues such as Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD, Dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and Klinefelters Syndrome) and most of his school mates have similar challenges as well as Dyslexia across the board. Bill's school is woefully underfunded for a variety of reasons that would take pages of text to explain. The teachers aren't well paid yet they are constantly buying supplies the children need that most pupils don't require; such as pen grips and fiddle toys to aid concentration etc...I have been fundraising for a few years now and with your help have managed to help subsidise school trips, buy sensory room equipment, Occupational Therapy equipment, outdoor tables and chairs, a trampoline...and a mini bus!! #billsspecialbus 🤩 We have a lot to pay for soon as the school is moving premises and is taking on 20 extra pupils. This is all amazing news but means the pressure is on financially. All this fundraising helps a phenomenal school that has given so many children a future they would not have been able to access. Thank you so much for any kind of support you give us.

There's and expression s--t happens. Well it was borrowed by the composters and turned into: Compost Happens! Since you can have compost delivered (wish we had that here - we go and load our own) and the compost bins will be "extra", I vote for filling them up and letting "compost happen" while you do all the other chores in your garden. Jeez you have a huge amount of garden to care for besides everything else you do Gayna, so give yourself a break. Or have Will help or Ted or Bill, if he is in the mood, to switch the compost around.
that calf was a treat! Be well toots, Fern in Minnesota

Thank you for saying you don’t like gardening. I love the thought of gardening and the results from it but don’t enjoy (at all!) the act of gardening. Thankfully we don’t have a large plot of land, though my husband’s dream is to own a farm, and that he also loves to spend hours puttering outside (I don’t know if he’d appreciate me to calling it puttering but that’s what it looks like 😊) . He has turned a very boring square piece of land into a wee oasis of calm. We live in a city and have an apartment building behind us and residents often thank him since they have a view of our beautiful backyard. As much as I would not want to care for the amount of land you have, it is absolutely beautiful and I’m very envious of your privacy.

Hi Gayna - we built pallet compost bins about two years ago and last year decided to line each one with fleece as we emptied it - your cuttings/food waste will end up collecting in the pallet gaps otherwise. We fill one, when full move it along to the next bay to turn it over to ensure everything composts, and keep going until we have all three full by which time the first is ready to use. Been potting in my greenhouse today too. Happy Easter xxx

What a full day, your garden is going to be so beautiful, I wish I could do the same, however being a rental it is a waste of money, all in pots and containers for now. Your pizza looked delish, despite the singed edges. I would love to taste wild garlic, I bought some seeds but its not the same as your wild garlic, more like chives, a tad disappointed, will have to search further afield for seeds of the correct variety x

That’s a an evergreen fast growing clematis armandii that smells lovely. I planted it two years ago and it was tiny. Here’s something I copied from the web:
Clematis Armandii is a large, evergreen climber that can reach up to 8 metres in height. Preferring a sunny and sheltered position it is perfect for growing against a south facing wall. In the early spring it blooms and produces big, almond scented, creamy-white flowers with four star-shaped petals on each, which contrast brilliantly against the mid-green leaves.

Every time I see Margot she reminds me of a 'Giraffe' dog with those long legs! It looks like you were all having a lovely time here and everyone was doing little jobs around the house too. Ted is obviously in his element with the tractor and having a wonderful time in the field doing what he enjoys the most. Every time you are out in the garden you say how much you hate gardening! I know you detest it but I now think Toby has the same opinion as you about that. Lovely to see the baby calf. Nature is so amazing, the mother cow just gave birth but continues on eating the grass as if nothing has happened. Have a wonderful Easter weekend dear Cuckoo and family. XXX

Nature is amazing! The cow was eating up the afterbirth and the grass to kick start the milk production for her baby. Isn’t it incredible? Toby and I often feel overwhelmed by the amount of maintenance he garden takes. We had a chap in to help a few weeks ago. Cost us a couple of grand and hasn’t left us feeling very further forward. We need to change our mind set because the work has to be done anyway.
