This is our second BMW 335i for this series, and features some common modifications to the platform. Check out Dillon's car on Wheelwell! www.wheelwell....
Tom T. Really? Have you driven a 335? The brakes are not really that bad. I ran mine tuned to about 380hp and never had any problems with spirited street driving. Track is different story; but that will be the case with any car.
+My Stoner Mind from the video, i can't say i disagree... i drive one, and now i realize that i am an unattractive lower middle class woman. you made my day
Zach Birdsall I know a lot of folks will reply saying that it's wrong to increase power without touching brakes/suspension, but the fact of the matter is the standard setup on this car is very capable of handling the power that a basic tune will net you. A JB on a nice conservative map, say 1 or 2 would work well with the supporting mods he already has.
Bestwick1983 Drove a 335i with a stage 1 tune recently, 360-370HP or so. And it was not that pleasant. Could def need some different brake pads and some work with the suspension. But other than that it is great!
As an avid fan of both cycling, and driving/tuning sports cars, I really appreciate your respect for others-drivers and cyclists alike-on the road. You're absolutely right: if we all want to be happy, we have to share the road. Cheers, brother.
No tune?!!?! AHHHHHH, that changes things SO MUCH. I give him props for not doing the typical tune nothing else done route. I use to do the tune FIRST, then just basic crap like cai and muffler delete. with my Sky Redline, I decided to do coils, and braces/suspension stuff first. We'll see how it goes.
shawn klesel I've never wrecked or even came close to losing control, etc. I've always done power first. But as you say, I've lately been hearing from like everyone that suspension and other components should be dialed in first, so that's the route I'm going this build. I just don't see it like everyone else does mostly because I live in Ohio. We don't have these kind of roads here. We have craters in our roads and they are straight lol.
shawn klesel What's with all these people. Who's to say a modern car is not capable of handling an extra 50whp bump in power on stock tires and suspension? Sure, if you take it from 250whp to 800whp on stock suspension, you are an idiot, but the first thing I did on my Subaru was a tune, up pipe, downpipe and air filter. Why would I need to upgrade the factory 17" tires, factory Bilstein shocks, and factory dual pot front brakes on a street car for a small bump in power?
Cool car / vid. @ Matt; I'm surprised none of the one take guys ask your opinion on how to improve their ride. Not this guy, but some seem quite defensive about criticism, I guess somewhat understandable. They should be using your experience for advise on areas to improve.
krbcrwlr a lot of them do, they just phrase it differently. "I wanted to see what you thought of it," is quite common. They don't explicitly ask, but I'll check up on these people a few months down the road, and in more cases than not, the comments I made on their cars have led to changes in setups.
TheSmokingTire That is awesome of you. i get a feeling, however, that some, notably a certain gentleman with a white American vehicle, will not be inviting you over for tea and cupcakes anytime soon lol. That's too bad. Out of interest, would you publish a video if you and an owner simply hated each other on first contact? Or does that kind of thing generally not happen to you?
For the record even when he gets the tune there's no way he's gonna have 500hp. I had the same car all the mods he has plus upgraded turbos and tune and only made 440whp. So this kid can keep dreaming. And second he has exhaust intake and bov at max he gained like 30whp
First of all u noob I've owned a 335i before, and secondly I'm more aware about tunes and turbo cars because I've owned this one specifically. Pushing 500, after he gets a Tune and intercooler...... Ummmmm no. I have this exact car in Sedan form and this car Full Bolt On gets around 450 with Meth.
I think that the guest/car owner definitely sets the tone of these One Take reviews. Matt always approaches them with the same style, energy, and attitude, while some owners are far more enthusiastic and engaging than others. Dillon absolutely helped to make this video more enjoyable to watch than some of the others. Great video and beautiful car!
Sometimes it's tough being a car guy and a cyclist, but I find myself surprised with your take on cyclists on the road. Going the respectful middle path is rare these days, I know I definitely appreciate it, keep up the great vids.
It's hilarious how the owners of these cars always co-sign on everything Farrah says! If he says something about the brakes, they say, "yeah, that's the next mod I'm doing!" Or if Matt says something about the suspension, the owner says, "yeah, I'm getting coilovers next week." If he told the owner, "dude, your car sucks!" The owner would probably say, "yeah, I'm saving up to get a GTR. This was just a hand-me down car from when my older brother graduated college."
This kid is talking out his ass. Burgertuning made 446 whp 495wtq on the stock turbos using methanol and race gas. I love BMWs but unfortunately their owners are mostly a bunch of posers with more money than brains trying to act like they're in the car scene. They've even infected the E30/E28 cars now that they're becoming more popular. Can you review a 335 that's actually modified? a tune would pick up 100hp on this car and the stock turbos are VERY small. Stock turbos tuned is around 450wtq @ 2700, 380whp @5200. Burger and dinan are making around 500wtq @ 3300+ (burger makes peak torque to 5300) 520 WHP @ 5700rpm. It would be a completely different car, lets get some nicely modded cars going.
Gabe Santos Exactly. He won't get close to 500hp on stock turbos. 500hp would take RB turbos and meth. Short of a big single, he won't get close to his claim of 600hp either.
Gabe Santos Dillon Olson i make 460+awhp with my 335xi FBO+ inlets, e85, custom tune. It's pretty common to make 500 crank with stock turbos with supporting mods..
It's really interesting that you mentioned the 2JZ Supra comparison with N54. The new Supra is supposedly getting a BMW inline turbo 6, so maybe BMW can pick up where Toyota has forgotten their legacy
maximus9401 Unfortunately, BMW doesn't produce the N54 (2010) anymore; the newer N55 is a decent engine but it doesn't have the power potential of the older N54.
TheSmokingTire If this car also had Methanol injection & upgraded turbo inlets it would be a MONSTER! I've just installed my inlets, have JB4, catless downpipes, 7in intercooler, coilovers, Michelin PSS & I'm pushing over 500whp on 30% 93/e85 octane. The N54 is turning into a good platform, we're getting single turbo kits now & turbo upgrades are getting cheaper. I got deals on my parts & have less than $2,000 invested in mods to have a low 11 second daily driver. My next three mods are defiantly Port injector/LPFP upgrade, LSD & RB turbos.
The FMIC is the first thing I did to mine, then the tune (Cobb Stg 2 Aggressive) DPs, Chargepipe and aftermarket Diverter Valve but now I'm rolling with MHD Stg E85 tune. I would never do anything to these cars without dropping that intercooler in first as far as tuning.
the function of an intercooler is to lower charge air temperatures. the reason you want to lower charge wait temperatures is to lower the chances of detonation and pre ignition due to which the engine would pull timing especially a DME like the one on the N54. now there are other ways to prevent knock apart from lowering charge air temps. you could use a better fuel which in this case could be e85. if you're running e50ish and stock turbos, you don't really need intercooler upgrades coz the most boost you'd be pushing is 20psi and the e85 mix will take care of that. yes it will help for multiple back to back runs. but its not a necessity
The JB4 takes care of everything. There is no actual tuning to do, it just raises the boost and tells the ecu to deal with it, and it does. Adding other parts does nothing to the tune, it just accommodates for it automatically. It can act as a meth controller, code reader, data logger, you can switch between tune maps on the fly in seconds without having to take your hands off the wheel, selecting anything from 0 to 19psi with progressive meth maps, or for e85/race fuel, all while the JB4 hi-jacks the fuel and oil temp gauges for other things like wideband a/f, boost, timing, meth flow rate, and more. Its an incredible thing for less than 500 bucks.
How is this guy not running a tune? That's usually one of the first things you get. You have to have something to ignore the codes thrown by the catless DP's at least.
kyleb350 because retuning to optimize parts sucks and costs money. Do it all before you tune and once you tune you really experience your hard work all at once. Plus suspension and braking is more important.
smgs921 This guy has full exhaust, intake, charge pipes, but his car doesnt make much more than stock. How sad. Also, these come with brembo six piston calipers up front, no need to upgrade that until you really push that 500hp. A tune IS a must have on those n54/n55.
Matt did you used to own an old Volkswagen bug? I got a friend who built a bug for the drag strip and he said a mechanic who built your bug helped him.
All that with no intercooler or tune, lol. Not to be a troll, I mean fuck a troll, but c'mon. Those are the Number #1 & #2 money mods right there. No power gain what so ever without the software.
Matt, kudos on being cool about the whole cyclist thing. I'm a car nut and a cyclist and you'd be amazed at how many others out there are the same. Though I wouldn't feel safe riding on that road, I prefer to ride where there's a shoulder especially on high traffic areas. Agreed on tires and brakes as well. So many people just go after straight line accel but don't do anything about the foundation of their car with suspension, tires and brakes. Working on a CTS-V brake upgrade right now which is forcing me to go to a larger diameter wheel. Should be fun!
I kind of wonder why people go this route with the mods. He dropped a lot of money on wheels, suspension, brakes, and bolt-ons for really minimal gains. All that intake and exhaust is minimal without a tune, he's probably not much over 300whp with those mods. The 335i takes very well to power modification and tunes, but the cooling system is inadequate for serious track or rally events. Why run track oriented suspension and brakes? You ruin the car for the road, and it's still ill suited for track or rally.
Dillon Olson Better handling and stopping. That should be done before power. You do get more features than you need a lot of times but you still have the ability to adjust. Just depends on the springs use. Right now I have pretty stiff springs on my car with sticky rubber. Why? The price was right and I have the ability to soften or stiffen up the rebound and dampening. Fun to drive, better feedback and overall fun.
azn412 On E85 you can make 500whp. It seemed like the guy was talking about 500bhp though, which would be about 435whp, which would probably just need like E30.
Is incredible that people just talk crap about other people, here is a fact.... Build your perfect car with everything and however you wanted to make it right and people is going to talk crap about it, the point is that just let them talk and if you don't agree with their statement just let them, is not your car and not your money!!!
Yea all that and no tune? WTF? Nice car, don't get me wrong, you've done nice work. But, why the hell wouldn't you toss in a Cobb or JB4? Its so damn easy and so worth it. Not to mention you have the downpipes already? Tune that beast!
You're not going to be making 500hp with exhaust, intercooler and a "tune". Not on the stock turbo, buddy. "Car guys" who have shops do all the work and don't know shit about cars irritate me. "Stage 2 cold air intake"... wow sweet mod, bro.
Nice car but you won't be around 500 whp unless you're running e85, methanol, and a custom tune along with what you have. Those are basic bolt-ons I had on my 535i (same engine) I had a upgraded chargepipe, AFE intake, catless downpipe, exhaust cutout from the DP, JB4 Stage 2, flex fuel wire with e85 I should have been around 400. However it was an n55, this is an n54 so it should react better to mods but not a 100whp difference. I was actually going to be on the show next week but its completely stock at the dealership right now disputing some issues.
Lol @ all the people talking shit because he has no tune. These are the same people that will go buy JB4 before any regular maintenance is done and/or wont even know the history or health of their turbos. They won't get the intake valves cleaned regularly and for damn sure wont even by an oil catch can. They have money for JB4 but can't afford to replace there turbos if they go out tomorrow. They have no plans to help the car run cooler, or better they just want to go faster 'derp. Then they will be crying on the forums about injectors, turbos, waste gate rattle, plugs, wp failing. Hey idiots, he's doing it right! Or at least hes moving in the right direction. Shaving weight (losing 70lbs with Sparco Seats/ minus another 80lbs with custom exhaust = - 150lbs), cooler intake temps (modified mr5 intake w/ram air) and overall cooler running motor (oil cooling system and FMIC) are the *priorities* for my e90.
What I never understand is when a guy says something is stage 12345 lol. Stage 2 is ss lines a rotor replacement and some wack pads? Lol. Car guys these days. And west end is awesome at CORNER BALANCING. Seems like all this guy did was an alignment which any competent shop can do with a hunter alignment machine or whatever they are called. You should know exactly the alignment you want how much toe in or out and camber and your own rebound and bump settings based on your driving characteristics. A bone stock 335i with proper suspension and setup and proper tires would drive better than this. Most guys put 10k in their engine and won't spend the additional money to step up to a kw clubsport and cheap out to get some v2 or v3. I seriously don't understand that. We need to edumacate people better.
I not a big deal at all. It's just annoying when someone who's acting like they know about cars doesn't even know to say wheels... and that a rim is just a part of a wheel. It's really not that big of a deal... Had friends and family say it wrong but I still love them.
If you're ever out east in the middle TN area, my mom would probably let you drive her car. She has a 135i M sport Dinan stage 3 with HRE wheels etc... essentially like the Dinan's you've done with /TUNED, but different being a 135i not a 1M. It also has a DCT (again my mom's car).
I used to own the Twin turbo 335i and I blew a turbo and they quoted the repair at over 4k dollars. The whole thing about bmw being stupid expensive to repair is absolutely correct. Be careful if your getting any new beamer above like 2000. Or we'll if your getting an e30 m3 GOOD LUCK!!
I'm really enjoying these vids. If I could recommend a car or two, an early 90s 300zx TT, stock or otherwise, would be awesome to see. Same goes for some older muscle. Also I'm just wondering if you are still doing /Tuned? Is that only on Drive+ at the moment or do I just keep missing it in the mess that is the UA-cam subscription box?
To the guy's defense, I think he was talking about 500hp to the crank. In which can be achievable running a FBO with Jb4. Not to mention some e85 mixure. But realistically at the wheels, he's gonna be seeing around 440hp with some e85
500 HP after an intercooler and a tune?! How do you not pick up the BALONEY these people claim with their unrealistic numbers? Don't they realize gear heads watch these videos? It's just embarrassing.
I think the justification why N54 is more tuner friendly than N55 is a bit off base. The N55 has variable valve lift controlled by the throttle, no throttle plate. This more advanced or complicated(depending on viewpoint) system makes for a more difficult to tune car. if you want a big power N54 you usually go big single turbo.
If you hit one you're going to win short term but long term you're going to to lose, or at least your umbrella policy is if you have one. I have been blessed and love fast automobiles and have spent millions on them but I'm also a cyclist and was hit almost two years ago by a full size truck at around 50mph. I almost lost my life and severely broke my back, requiring a long surgery. I also broke my neck, left leg, fractured my pelvis twice and damaged my left kidney for life. I did not walk for over four months. I had great health insurance and a great wife. Between the man who hit me and myself we had about four million in liability insurance which was good because I had right at one million in health costs. But I'm about as recovered as I'll ever be and I may be an idiot but I still ride my bike but in what my wife calls "safe zones" and I have probably purchased six or seven cars since then. My latest a 2015 Mustang GT which I'm about to supercharge. My next will be a Nismo GTR. I am an avid fan of yours and I know you're a pro driver just like me. I am very glad to hear that you have a great attitude when it comes to sharing the road. I have been terrified because most of your recent youtube videos have been going up and down a mountain where cyclists propagate for rides. I even thought of sending you a message of my story to try and have you find a more flat part of the road or track but now I feel much better as you seem to look for cyclists and other people on the road. Keep it up Matt, I love your videos!
He said this car gets hot so i need to get an intercooler lol. It has intercoolers two of them in fact. You need better cooling, if you run enough power eventually you will need bigger intercoolers to support the flow rate needed.
Someone help. This is the car im saving up for. An e92 2010 bmw 335i with an msport package. I own an Acural TLS 6mt btw.. I keep hearing hearing how hard this bmw is to maintain and how it has so many things that can go wrong with it.. is it really that bad? Also what are the pros and cons of rwd or the awd option? I also hear that the automatic is faster than the stick version which is pretty sad to hear, i really want the 6 speed.. any comment on that? I also have an extra 7g to modd it with when i get it. Is there something much faster/tunable for around the same price btw? God this car is gorgeous..
Stage 2 HW and not a tune? Why? I have a 135 myself and only swapped out the intercooler and an OCC and reprogrammed the ECU with Cobb stage 1+. Goes like a rocket!
Heh, E85. Got to love living next to America's corn field called Iowa. E85 everywhere! But I guess there's a fair trade off, you guys get the twisty roads and we get plenty of E85.
So the first BMW guy is doing general HP assumption from what his mods as rated at? Ummmm.. Believe nothing until there is dyno proof. Mehh.. Just my opinion I guess.
I just want to applaud you for campaigning about sharing the road. As a car enthusiast I certainly love driving the canyons quickly. And as a cyclist I appreciate everyone who gives us our space. Cyclists have just as much right to be on the roads as drivers do. I also understand that there are some cyclists that give us a bad name. There are also some spirited drivers that give car enthusiasts a bad name as well.
You need to drive a properly modified 335i! Make a trip to Tampa, FL some time. You need a tune FBO with upgraded turbos. 500+whp makes a huge difference.
All those parts, especially a DP and Intake, and no tune on a boosted car? Sorry, I cannot approve. Love the car, but for the sake of the car's health, and your personal enjoyment - get that shit tuned ASAP mayne...
Wait wait so can you not take over a motorcyclist at all? just have to follow him until he decides to move at the side in AMERICA ? whaaaaat!!!!! most ridiculous thing i've ever seen.
All you yanks that want the best driving experience on low end cost..... get a R32 GTR.... My mate has a 335i and my GTR booms it in every way possible.
Kind of a side comment-- but as an avid cyclist and a car enthusiast it's important to respect each other on the road. Both Matt/Dillon and the cyclists are out there because they enjoy being out there. No need to deny people happiness, just be mindful (like Matt in the video).
I have a cousin that works on high end cars. He owns a supercharged 911 and at one point had a 750+ hp prelude. He's trying to convince me to drop the Rsx and just buy this and boost this.
Fat guys and fast cars. so cliché. of course this cliche 335i owner didnt invest on the most important mod for these cars, and I don't mean the driver mod! 😅😂
speaking of supras, have you ever had any nice third gen turbo supras on the show? Be cool to see you drive a nice well built 3rd gen, 7m powered turbo supra
It would be cool if you could get these cars on a track and then have you drive them for their best lap times. Something for modders to shoot for, the top spot on the Smoking Tires lap time leader board.
I want to get an automatic 335i coupe 2010 and I was wondering, is it true that if your car is automatic and you put a jb4 tune on it that you can blow your transmission?
people should really look into E-tunes its alot cheaper then blowing up your engine if you dont want to do a full on dyno tune. torqued performance is awesome.
The steering weight probably isn't because of the wheels so much as because the shop that set up his suspension probably dialed in more positive caster to improve high speed stability and turn in.
They look like father and son lol
PEEZY650 i agrreee lol
Why? Because Matt asks do you rub @ 2:55?
Good thing dude has done suspension, tires and brakes before going crazy with power which is what people with these cars usually do.
Tomáš T. Thats what I did, we don't have roads like this here though. I spend my time zooming through the flat lands.
Tomáš T. I agree, a lot of people are saying tune tune tune but he is taking all the right steps before releasing the crakan underneath that hood.
Tom T. Really? Have you driven a 335? The brakes are not really that bad. I ran mine tuned to about 380hp and never had any problems with spirited street driving. Track is different story; but that will be the case with any car.
Adding a tune is cheap and easy. There's no reason that shouldn't be the first mod on the 335
My wife drives one of these
.. she earns more than I do.
My Stoner Mind you have chosen wisely.
TheSmokingTire thank you sir, good day.
+Xplosion51 where I am, ladies drive these.
+My Stoner Mind Hahaha...! That's hilarious! Wow! ...Good one!
+My Stoner Mind from the video, i can't say i disagree...
i drive one, and now i realize that i am an unattractive lower middle class woman. you made my day
All that hardware and no tune...what a shame.
Bestwick1983 yeah was totally thinking the same, no JB4 tune even?

After hearing his explanation it's understandable. Matt should do a short follow up retake after the jB4 , intercoller, and brake upgrade :)

azn412 were you on the corn juice? Turbos love Ethanol, it's good for around 75awhp generally with a tune
440whp is around 500 go lmao I'm guessing you havnt owned one let alone with all these mods

@thesmokingtire
When are you going to do a 135!?!? Not the 1m but the 135!
No fucking way I know this guy and I'm one of those 2014 mustang gt's that ran with him. Small world. Give me a cookie
"The only things I haven't done are the 2 most important things" is what I heard lol
Pushing 500, after he gets a Tune and intercooler...... Ummmmm no. I have this exact car in Sedan form and this car Full Bolt On gets around 450 with Meth.
Adam McGee can you give me some of that meth
Nah man, my car won't share either.
haha I know that feeling it's thirsty as hell I can burn 20$ petrol in 20 minutes on the autobahn in my fams 530i E61 and that's stock
Adam McGee 500 crank maybe. so 400 - 420 wheel?
Who gives crank HP other than a newb or a car manufacturer? Your guess of 400-420 at the wheels is pretty spot on.

This kid is talking out his ass. Burgertuning made 446 whp 495wtq on the stock turbos using methanol and race gas. 😂😂 500hp yeah right. Untuned and not FBO he's making 340whp max
Actually with a tune he'll prob make under 400whp
2xDeuce yeah I know, I'm just relating the fact that BMW has the chops to make a successor to the 2JZ for the new Supra
Yeah your right. The straight six is lost art now :(
Love my mustangs but god I want one of these
TheSmokingTire
If this car also had Methanol injection & upgraded turbo inlets it would be a MONSTER!
Those gold rims on the white body look wicked!
I was wondering what that sound was in the audio that sounded like a flat tire. Is that the flat spot you're referring to in the video?
eberle .eric I was wondering this as well.
eberle .eric yep
no tune? like a 335i without a tune? what is that?
I think it's safe to say that he might be waiting for that Intercooler before getting a one time tune don't you think?
that's the first thing i said too... like wtf
Ajay Rajeev +1
Nice car but in my opinion.. the color of the wheels looking ugly.
JB4 is old news on the N54 platform. Most people are moving over to MHD.
DefaultLoginDetaiIs MHD is cool and all, easier to install but you lose the on the fly map switching and the hijacked gauges.
Stickers make it faster......they just do
After 2 335s and a Z3, we need some E46 love on this show, Matt!
E85 Hard to find? I have 5 pumps within 1.5 miles of my house that have E85.
In North Carolina it's extremely hard
No tune and 500hp? Haha yea sure 😂 bro science af
He said he's just missing a tune and an intercooler to get him close to 500hp not without them
"Do you rub?" Giggity!
Find a 135i to review! I'd lend you mine (some Dinan parts) but I'm all the way up in the bay area...
+1 for E82s. A 128i/328i would not be bad too
Matt did you used to own an old Volkswagen bug? I got a friend who built a bug for the drag strip and he said a mechanic who built your bug helped him.
***** that mechanic is lying. I have never, nor would I ever, own a Volkswagen Bug.
TheSmokingTire
awww, lol
+TheSmokingTire lmao
Dillon Olson It's still a work in progress, man.
Dillon Olson suspension+brakes+tyres > power. His tune will give him a hefty bump and he'll have all the other modifications to support it safely.
LOL tune and intercooler and i should be at 500
foxxrider250r *close* to 500. AKA anywhere between 460 to 490 bhp. That sounds about right given all the other mods he already has.
There's a guy with all his mods + tune and intercooler that makes 500whp on stock turbos. Aka 575bhp.
Yea, not all 335s will do that. and that was with meth surely, and maybe e85....and probly on a dynapack
azn412 On E85 you can make 500whp. It seemed like the guy was talking about 500bhp though, which would be about 435whp, which would probably just need like E30.
A tune for this car gets you an extra 100hp and 100tq but with the higher hp it needs more cooling as this engine runs hot
Booked through july? On the last video you said august
ReventadorLP1500-2 LOL, that comment + your picture
ReventadorLP1500-2 I filmed this a few weeks back. We're booked through October now.
TheSmokingTire Wow. Amazing.
MrsGondee Haha, yeah, I get that a lot. It's Donald Glover.
TheSmokingTire correction you're booked through May next year now.
I also like the sound of the new M3/M4 although I do prefer the sound of a naturally aspirated M3.
Franky Leandri just no. M3/M4
ye ye Are you having a psychotic breakdown?
Pardon_M3 nope but the car market is going to shit because of stupid buyers.
But you won't take my 335i with 650whp? Okay
Dylan Prasad You're the best rapper of all time.
No tune or E85 or meth differently not close to making 500hp
Someone tell this guy that the jb4 map 5 is an autotune that adjusts to whatever mods he has, should have gotten it before any of the other parts
See if you can get a ISF or fsport IS350.
This kid seems to know his stuff... But he is slightly annoying.
With Jb4 that thing will be flying. Tastefully modded....Not digging gold rims though.
Shaving weight (losing 70lbs with Sparco Seats/ minus another 80lbs with custom exhaust = - 150lbs), cooler intake temps (modified mr5 intake w/ram air) and overall cooler running motor (oil cooling system and FMIC) are the *priorities* for my e90.
how could you not have a tune for this car, thats the first thing i do. even a piggyback
What a supreme gentleman.
That car is stock in my eyes
His car is pretty nice but the stickers on the doors kind of ruin the clean look.
Matt, I liked the fact that for the first time, you asked the owner what they didn't like about the car.
LMFAOOOOO just need a tune and ill be in the 500s. 👌
😭😭😭
"E-85 is so hard to find" Lol E-85 is at every gas station in Iowa
Lol Iowa
as soon as he called his wheels "rims"... I just tuned him out completely.
+marc scott why is it such a big deal? im actually curious cause i used to call them rims but now ive noticed that its frowned upon lol
I not a big deal at all. It's just annoying when someone who's acting like they know about cars doesn't even know to say wheels... and that a rim is just a part of a wheel. It's really not that big of a deal... Had friends and family say it wrong but I still love them.
Same Same haha
HELP ME!!
i Want to buy one like this 335i (auto) my reasons
what should i look for in this car when i buy it?
NO TUNE?!?! Thats the most basic thing you can do to this car and you DON'T have to retune with every new mod.
Oh and if you want some light weight wheels, the best bang for your buck are APEX wheels.
My next daily driver. Think this might be the best BMW Coupè, an enthusiast can buy today.
I THINK the E92 facelift is the best looking coupe ever, im in love of that car since the fisrt time i saw it :)
Intake, catless DPs and a full exhaust, but no tune!? Why do.... With zero bolt ons and a tune you are making +50-100 hp/tq.
LMAO missing a fmic and a tune. This kid said he will push 500. I have the same fucking car with full bolt ons on e85 and pushing close to 450.
I wish they were driving one of the C63's at 6:30
"Marathon"? on bikes? I've watched all of these and like this passenger/owner the least. Annoying.
speaking of supras, have you ever had any nice third gen turbo supras on the show? Be cool to see you drive a nice well built 3rd gen, 7m powered turbo supra
The first 335 video got SO MUCH hate but this video got basically none. UA-cam logic.
Massive drop.. 1.5" inches.. Haha
people should really look into E-tunes its alot cheaper then blowing up your engine if you dont want to do a full on dyno tune. torqued performance is awesome.
Um I live in houston and there's like 3 or 4 gas stations within 10 miles of me that have e85 on pump. Is it hard to get in cali for some reason?
It's funny how you can hear the flat spot while going trough the corner, it's like driving over bumps.
335i is a turbo right? how did he not chip it the day he got it? i am from VW background. do bmw's not chip well?
Never buy a bmw without warranty. Buy it new or CPO. As bmw makes newer and newer cars, their reliability is absolute shit.
The steering weight probably isn't because of the wheels so much as because the shop that set up his suspension probably dialed in more positive caster to improve high speed stability and turn in.
