    Slice them up and season with 1 tsp. Sage, 1/2 tsp. Pepper, 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder, 1/4 Cayenne. Fry them in your grape seed oil, olive oil or rice brand oil. Cook just until golden brown. Be careful not to over cook! I removed the Sausage from the skillet. I sauteed up 1 chopped onion. Next I added Yams, Mushrooms, and Spinach with a little water covered n cooked to my desired tenderness. Then I added chopped Sundried Tomatoes. Last I added the Sausage mixed and warmed up until Sausage was reheated. I stirred often to keep it from sticking and scorching. Got the idea of which vegetables to add from another UA-camr.

    I love Apple sage Field Roast.Try it with onions, sweet potatoes, fresh spinach and a little sundried tomatoes. It seems to work well together, that's how we make it. ❤

    This sausage is better sliced and fried verses whole. I made spaghetti, cooked the sausage with onion and Bell peppers, garlic powder, pink himalayan salt, pepper, and believe it or not a little nutmeg. Didn't tell friends until after they were done. It was a hit. ♥️

    • @Risha-Rene
      @Risha-Rene 6 років тому

      So you used the sausage instead of meat for your spaghetti?

    • @YT4Me57
      @YT4Me57 6 років тому +2

      @@Risha-Rene it's a meat substitute. The only thing you can't do is simmer it for a long time because they will fall apart. Cook it separately, then add it in the final minutes to the other ingredients.

    I go to a hot dog restaurant in Salem, Ma when i visit the museum and they serve these on buttered rolls with toppings. Seriously, they are delicious on a bun with toppings or fried up in an omelet. I prefer them as bangers and mash with gravy and roasted veggies too.

    Taste like turkey stuffing.. so for thanks giving you could cook them put them in a blender for little bit make it like stuffing then warm up some veggie broth add some flour in while cook and makes a good veggie gravy to pour over the top of the dish ,could even add corn if ya chose.. not bad. I use to do that with the gardein meatballs but these have the certain taste . Or ya can even put in blender and make patties with them as well.. I did it the other day

    I bought these after watching yall do it. I love meat, but recently ran out of teeth, so I've been trying all the alternatives. I sliced mine thin before heating, and that made it more sausage-like to me! Had it with potatoes, macaroni, other things, no prob. BUT if I try to make a whole one and eat it on a hotdog bun, taking a big bite is just tooo weird and mushy. Slicing them in half lengthwise made it easier to tolerate too! Just needs crunchy bits on the edges!

    I just cooked one up and cut it into slices fried it a lil bit with some seasonings and it was a lil hard to swallow. But being that the corona virus is going on this was one of the stuff I was able to find at target to eat since all the food is gone. I’m not going to lie it’s not great it’s my first vegan sausage but it’s not the worst things ever. I can survive off of this if I have to. But wouldn’t buy it again unless there is another pandemic
