John Wayne Gacy never used his clown suit or his two clown "alter egos", Pogo (most well-known) & Patches to actually entice any of his victims. Both were characters which he created as a "Moose" when he joined their "Jolly Jokers Clown Club"for visits to hospitals, charity events Democratic Party events (he was desperate to to ingratiate himself into the echelons of local politics). His chosen "prey group" was mid-teens-twenties, so his guise as a clown was unnecessary! Instead, he would invite them back to his home where he would offer to show them the "tricks" of escaping from handcuffs & the rope trick which involved them being tightly bound & trying to get out of these restraints, they were then right where he wanted them. He preyed on teen boys, offering to show them pornography then raping & murdering them. If you can find it, there is a rather chilling photo of him standing proudly beside Roslyn Carter, the pin to show he'd been "checked" by the F.B.I. on his jacket & it was taken after he'd killed most of the boys & men & only about 8 months before his arrest!! An interesting aside in the case, was the anger he stirred up in other clowns who drew their large, artificial smiles with rounded edges, so they never frightened children. Gacey's make-up was always drawn on with "sharp" corners (either way, it's surprising how a lot of children & adults have a deep-seated fear of clowns). As for dolls like "Annabelle" & "Robert", it should be noted that, from an anthropological point of view, in some cultures, dolls were made to "house the spirits of the dead". I find it therefore, very strange that a soft toy or doll is one of the first things we give our beloved newborns..................
I know your comment was made a year ago but you are so right. I find it terribly strange how western civilization gives dolls to small children. In my culture and religion, we know dolls become vessels for spirits. We donot bring them in our homes. They are kept outside in the yard for the kids to play with during the day. I was a ghost tour guide in key West, as well as having worked at the East Martello Museum where Robert the Doll is. I have seen him move, I have felt his eyes on me. I also know the story inside and out. Robert (Eugene Otto gave him his own first name and went only by Eugene, or Gene, since) is not evil. He has the mind of a child. He is mischievous. The bad luck that comes from mocking him or taking his picture WITHOUT asking for permission is understandable. Kids used to run back and forth in front of the house, watching Robert the Doll move from window to window in the turret, Robert the Doll often waving back. I met some of those kids, who were then in their 80s. I do remember when Robert escaped the museum and was found on the roof of the customs house near Mallory Square watching the sunset... Interestingly, he did inspire Chucky from Child's Play.

Eugene’s parents died a little while later and Eugene being 22 years old would take Robert out and talk to him, Robert had holes throughout his face because of bugs like flys and mosquitos. His sailer dog in his lap had no holes whatsoever. A few years later Eugene died from a heart attack. And a new family moved in. This time it was a little girl named ester. Her uncle was cleaning out the attic and found Robert. He thought nothing of it and it would be esters birthday soon so he gave it to her as a gift. John Wayne Gacy never used the clown thing to lure victims. He would tell young guys he had work for them to lure them. He'd get them to go to his house and he'd asked if they wanted to see a handcuff trick. The trick of getting out of a pair of cuffs is having the key.

I never had a chance of seeing the crocodile 🐊 but, fishermen in Tanganyika lake always complain that they’ve lost someone by Gustave. So it’s true now I feel like I need to watch the movie again since the inspiration came from my home country 🤣🤣🤣🤣. However Burundi is a beautiful country and people shouldn’t be worried about crocodile not at all, animals in Burundi are as nice as Burundian people please welcome to Burundi and visit the beautiful the country in the heart of Africa. Investors too are welcome 🙏

I'm just glad The Ring and The Grudge aren't based off of actual events :)
The "ring" is based off a true story, which look place in feudal japan! A high ranking married samurai had an affair with a servant,
rumours started to spread so he threw her down a well. That well was in the castle grounds and left her to die.... HIMEJI CASTLE
@@mr_ozzio5095 Wow, that's interesting!
@@whonosegaming8497
The castle is said to haunted by her ghost, which climbs out of the well at night.
The castle is a very popular tourist destination, not just with ghost story fans either..
