Jackie B. Not too sure because I don’t know exactly what year Steve returned and married Carter. If he came back after the alternate 1947, then it was probably hard for Peggy and Daniel to let go of their feelings for each other.
Carly Quinn The Endgame writers made Steve create an alternate timeline where he and Peggy could be together. Some agree with the writers that Steve and Peggy married in the current timeline but that doesn’t make any sense to me at all and there is evidence in the main timeline to prove it.
It’s amazing how Steve and Peggy never actually dated; they only even shared one kiss. Yet they loved each other more than anything and literally everyone could tell.
@@lala_k05 no they never married in the original timeline. They didn’t even admit their feelings aloud to each other besides the one kiss, yet they were deeply in love. However they got married in an alternate timeline at the end of Endgame when Steve went to the past to see her again.
I don’t like how Steve got be with Peggy in the end. Its not that I never liked them together. It’s just...it *ruins* the whole concept of moving on. Peggy was Steve’s first love. Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t move on with someone else. I personally liked the chemistry Steve and Nat had. They were a lot alike and yet not at the same time. And Peggy got to live a full life and died peacefully. Steve should of moved on after that, and Yeah I know the whole “I keep telling people to move on...some do...but not us” quote Steve says but in *reality* we don’t always get to be with the person we want most. Whether if they died or is with someone else. It doesn’t work out like that. Especially for Steve waking up 70 years later etc. He should of moved on from Peggy. Because that happens in real life...and all you can do is *move on* an by not moving on your not living your life. Even if it was Shown that Steve ended up with Sharon or somebody else that would of been a better ending for him.
I don’t fully agree with you, throughout all of the movies Steve has been selfless he always helped others and he always put others first and after finally beating Thanos and fighting for almost 20+ years he decided to do something for himself. He was trapped in a time he didn’t belong in so when time travel was found he put up the shield and retired in the time he was from. He got the chance to be with his friends, family and Peggy. He left friends behind but he found happiness and settled down.
• A Name • your misunderstanding what I’m saying...I’m not saying Steve *doesnt* deserve happiness no no I’m not saying that all. I agree he definitely does and he could of found happiness in someone else he could of found that in Natasha if the Directors wanted his story to go that way. There chemistry in Winter Solider and the rest of the flims could vouche for that. And I watched Agent Carter the show, Peggy has been therw a lot too. And in THIS scene she finally let go of Steve, because that’s all she could do. This scene is amazing, let alone her journey in Agent carter as well as her dealing with the grief of losing Steve. But because of Enegames ending it’s like. Everything she’s been therw in Agent Carter regarding Steve and this scene means nothing now. An in the hospital, Peggy talks to Steve and says “I have lived a life, my only regret is *you didn’t get to live yours* “ so say if Steve lived his life after endgame and settle down with someone etc. I’m pretty sure Peggy would of been happy for him. In a way it Is selfish of Steve because, Peggy already had lived her life. So to go back and change everything, because you still miss her and long to be with her...Is kinda selfish, which I understand completely but that’s when the whole “if you love them gotta let them go” comes in to play, which Peggy *herself* says to Howard about moving on and letting go. Some people make it seem like Steve simply can’t live without Peggy or he will never find happiness again because Peggys gone. That’s not the case at all. Think about it, before Steve went into the ice his last moments and most time he spent was with Peggy, so it’s only natural for him to feel that way once he woke up. But If he had time like years later, he would of moved on or realisticly he would of moved on. But it just ruins the whole concept of moving on, which I personally didn’t like. Now when I go back and watch agent carter and see Peggy think and talk about Steve it takes the emotion and feeling out of the scenes, because we all know now she gets back with him in the end.
Screen Master I’m glad Steve got a happy ending. It just would of been a far better story plot had they not been together in the end. Because of the moving on element. It takes away the emotional roller coaster of emotions both these characters had apart. Because yeah in real life you don’t always get to be with your first love. That dream sequence Steve has in age or ultron was perfect, if they had a longer scene, with that having a dance and Peggy telling Steve to move in with his life. That would of been perfect. Because you can’t hold on to the past, have to live in the present and for the future. I notice people saying Steve deserves a happy ending because of everything he did, which I agree, but the same thing could be easily said for Tony and Natasha. They died in the end, they deserve to be alive and have a happy ending too. That’s why I loved the speech Tony said at the end of endgame, about sometimes it’s not always a happy ending, but things can still work out etc. I mean it is what it is. I’m happy for Steve but at the same time. I personally preferred his ending to have been different.
@@TheKira708 you bring up some good points but if you leave him in the modern era, there are real life roadblocks to that making sense to audiences in the future, i.e. one of the most capable avengers would just be... retired? For future movies yknow? Like let's genuinely think about this, let's say phase 5 or even 6 the avengers have to fight a massive threat, let's just say galactus. I think it makes less sense with the character (and is frankly even more selfish of cap) to see a threat like that in the future and hes just like "nah, sorry mate I'm retired" , like I feel like cap wouldn't be comfortable doing that just because they beat thanos. I think the only way to successfully remove that character is to take him out of time, or to kill him off (like tony) so audiences arent left wondering "why isnt that awesome super soldier who's basically the leader of the avengers not fighting with the avengers?" Just trying to approach this eith a different perspective, Chris Evans initially contracted for I believe 7 movies (if I'm counting right) and hes expressed an interest to move on to other projects and that hed only come back to captain america is the script and direction is genuinely moving and compelling so, they had to make cap take a more immediate backseat somehow.
But since it wasn't a decision she made because she wanted to, but rather because she had to, wouldn't we be happy for her that she got what she actually wanted in the end?
Tessa Jangmi no. I’ll remain unhappy about it because it makes no sense. In the Winter Solider (also directed by the Russo’s), Peggy says in the video at the museum that Steve saved the man who would be her husband. But then the Russo’s said Steve had been her husband the entire time. It’s a plot hole and an ending that wasn’t thought out very well.
I agree that that's confusing Haha But I'm not really asking about the logistics, I was asking if you'd be happy she got what she wanted instead of respecting the decision she didn't really want to make. Or by decision, do you mean creatively the decisions they made in Agent Carter, undoing the life she went on to live through the time travel?
I can definitely see that! I guess I don't feel that way because he intercepted before she had that life, with the life she actually wanted. Not like he went and broke up the marriage, you know? I sort of see it as if he hadn't been frozen in the ice he would've ended up with her and Daniel with someone else and it wouldn't be selfish, just how things are. And him going back before they got together is the same to me. Everyone went on with life how it would've been if he didn't get frozen. I don't know if I'm making sense or rambling Haha But I get what you mean, how did he know that she'd be happier with him and not Daniel? But he went back anyways.
It feels so great that cap listened to tony after so many arguments, fights, different opinions, conflicts they had and give himself an another chance to live the life he always deserved, 💙❤
Knowing that they actually got to live their lives the way they hoped for, gives me the greatest joy for Steve and Peggy. Steve was willing to die against a whole army in Endgame. There will never be another Cap.
Things Steve could say if he returned in this moment (after returning the stones): “I think I’d rather say hello.” “Is that... me?” “Peggy, do you still dance?” “You have no idea what I had to go through to get here.” “This reminds me of Titanic. No, not in that way. Never mind, you don’t get that reference.” “It’s been a long, long time.”
Guys we should be happy our nicest and warmest avenger got to have a happy ending even though Tony died there are the two biggest heroes and both got a good ending cap finally got a happy ending and Tony finally got to rest
True. Sadly it doesn’t look like Chris evans is gonna act in a new season, either. He said he thought it was a good ending for him in endgame. Honestly, I do believe him and Peggy deserved their own movie

I think the only way to successfully remove that character is to take him out of time, or to kill him off (like tony) so audiences arent left wondering "why isnt that awesome super soldier who's basically the leader of the avengers not fighting with the avengers?"
Just trying to approach this eith a different perspective, Chris Evans initially contracted for I believe 7 movies (if I'm counting right) and hes expressed an interest to move on to other projects and that hed only come back to captain america is the script and direction is genuinely moving and compelling so, they had to make cap take a more immediate backseat somehow.
watching agent carter has changed my music taste
They need to make new series for agent Carter.. something like Capt America and Agent Carter might sound nice
Extended version of the scene shows Steve walking up from behind and calls out to Peggy “so about that dance”
I wish so badly that The Russo’s had respected this decision
But since it wasn't a decision she made because she wanted to, but rather because she had to, wouldn't we be happy for her that she got what she actually wanted in the end?
Tessa Jangmi no. I’ll remain unhappy about it because it makes no sense. In the Winter Solider (also directed by the Russo’s), Peggy says in the video at the museum that Steve saved the man who would be her husband. But then the Russo’s said Steve had been her husband the entire time. It’s a plot hole and an ending that wasn’t thought out very well.
I agree that that's confusing Haha
But I'm not really asking about the logistics, I was asking if you'd be happy she got what she wanted instead of respecting the decision she didn't really want to make.
Or by decision, do you mean creatively the decisions they made in Agent Carter, undoing the life she went on to live through the time travel?
Tessa Jangmi I just think it was very selfish of Steve. She had a life with someone else, presumably Daniel. I just don’t think it was a good decision
I don't know if I'm making sense or rambling Haha
But I get what you mean, how did he know that she'd be happier with him and not Daniel? But he went back anyways.
This show deserved more than 2 seasons 🤷♂️
It feels so great that cap listened to tony after so many arguments, fights, different opinions, conflicts they had and give himself an another chance to live the life he always deserved, 💙❤
The Endgame callback to “It’s Been a Long Ling Time” was awesome!!!
This is the TRUE ending of Agent Carter. The ending of Endgame where she & Steve reunited was just Steve's dream. Period!
It's heart warming and saddening at the same time if you think the whole marvel universe was for a dance.
Anyone who seeks to understand what a "strong female character" looks like would be well served to study the character of Peggy Carter.
Whos here after Peggy's What If episode came out?
they should have made it so that the series ends with Peggy at her home after this scene and then hearing a knock at the door.
That would’ve been perfect!!!!
...and the next day Steve showed up from the future.
The 40's music is really mind-blowing....The music makes me feel I wish I was born during that time....
La mejor escena de la serie
Gracias por subirlo
Knowing that they actually got to live their lives the way they hoped for, gives me the greatest joy for Steve and Peggy. Steve was willing to die against a whole army in Endgame. There will never be another Cap.
The saddest thing in marvel history the way she says goodbye my darling has me crying 😭
As sad as it is. Steve also threw away the whole "I'm with you until the end of the line" and went back to her💀
Can't blame him for going back to Peggy. He seems sad in the future and wants to return back
1:06 that's how Namor created 😁😁🤭
Peggy get up to brush her teeth the next morning
Steve : SURPRISE !!!
Peggy : AHHHH WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!
I really loved that Steve came back to dance but I also would like if they have respected her decision.
Agent Carter is a beautiful and bright tv show of the mcu
Great series that was cut short.
This show needs to be revived for a 3rd season on Disney+
Things Steve could say if he returned in this moment (after returning the stones):
“I think I’d rather say hello.”
“Is that... me?”
“Peggy, do you still dance?”
“You have no idea what I had to go through to get here.”
“This reminds me of Titanic. No, not in that way. Never mind, you don’t get that reference.”
“It’s been a long, long time.”
Some fish gonna be buff lol
This was so sad. Makes me tear up Everytime
So that's how Namor got his powers.
Is anyone here after the season 7 premiere of Agents of Shield
No
My man just chillin through all of this.
I love this show 💔
Little did she know, Howard could've brought Steve back after they found the valc. selfish deed on howards end
There's a reason why the teenage mutant Ninja turtles exist
The ooze that blinded Matt actually
I would love to believe that during the series, Cap had already hidden himself elsewhere as to not disrupt future events.
Agent Carter: Season One is amazing!
0:36 subtitles, plot twist 👀
This is marvels version of Titanic
You know it's good writing when it still makes you tear up 🥺🥲
And then STEVE would be like..
HEYYYY.... I'M WALKING OVER HERE
Immediately after she pours his blood out, Steve comes screeching up in a Dolorian.
Steve jump starting the Delorean with a lightning bolt from Mjolnir
Meanwhile, at Hydra, Winter Soldier theme plays...
That’s how master splinter was born.
I’ve never see this show but I love this ending it’s beautiful
I'm kinda sad seeing how all this development went to waste
it's fine steve is alive he is just sleeping
This gets me emotional every time
Plot twist: this was the night before he showed up for that dance in Endgame.
Guys we should be happy our nicest and warmest avenger got to have a happy ending even though Tony died there are the two biggest heroes and both got a good ending cap finally got a happy ending and Tony finally got to rest
I dont want to break hearts but this version of Peggy never got to Dance with Steve...
True. Sadly it doesn’t look like Chris evans is gonna act in a new season, either. He said he thought it was a good ending for him in endgame. Honestly, I do believe him and Peggy deserved their own movie
Me encantó la primera temporada ❤️ pronto veré la segunda
I love you Peggy
This explains Godzilla...
I hope there is a scene where the agents of shield meet her
Would've been awesome
Next morning
Steve: Honey I'm hooooome
Ooof ❤️❤️ Hayley is so gorgeous
Honestly this is a better ending than what happens in endgame
FINALLY! SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!
I love this series. This is one of the saddest finales I've ever seen. It still breaks my heart.
💔😭
'The Way You Look Tonight'
(Bing Crosby and Dixie Lee Crosby).

This make me cry . Their love is so pure ❤❤❤
steve moved on in ultron i wonder why he changed in endgame seems like it destroyed his development and peggy's as well
Such a shame. Could have made some nice super spoldier serum from that
