"Sir, thank god you're here. We've been lost out here for hours. After we lost contact with the mission we headed for the RV point and then these-these things attacked us. We gotta get outta here."
It almost seems like the most vital thing that darn near carried the series. That feels rude, considering so much else did and still does, too, but...I suppose music seems to age the best, which may be helping our current perceptions of past games and events.
I may not have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, but I can say that I am a proud veteran of mowing down The Covenant in the jungles of Space Vietnam. 🤘🎮👽
"This song playing" Group of 5 of you and your friends, walking through the forest at 3am flood appear everywhere and you need to fight your way out to suddenly switch realitys into a parallel universe ( the rest of the story is up to you)
Yes but choir version plays only in 2nd level Halo, in search of 3rd marine survivors (in any order), in level Keyes, the music kicks in after Keyes yells in pain in comms while reaching the dropship launch bay
The choir rendition also plays on Assault on the Control Room if you decide to ignore the Scorpion and proceed forward. Usually everyone enters the tank so they hear the music start and then immediately end.
You're a superhuman warrior sent to save the princess by trying to stop the evil prince from marrying her to seal the breach between their two opposing empires. You crash the wedding, sword in hand, murder the groom and his royal guards and save the princess. Upon doing so, you give her the antidote to the brainwashing poison she was force-fed, setting her mind and body free. You hand her sword back, and the two of you escape the castle together. Upon reaching the green fields outside the castle walls, you're greeted to the King and your army charging the castle you just emerged from. Then you start making out cuz you just saved the god damn princess, you deserve some credit.
@Cabezon this is the soundtrack when the remnants of the NG brigade, police, and armed uninfected civilians attempt their breakout escape from the east Washington town from the flood forces surrounding them.
Yeah you know what, this song would be great if you were like, in the future space military and trapped in a giant ancient ring world and discover an evil ancient parasite or something
It plays in practically every mission that takes place on Halo, since it is not played on the Pillar of Autumn (first level) but on the next one, Halo.

The "Chief gets it done" theme
People really don't give Halo CE's soundtrack enough credit. This is great!
I guess I'm quite randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released movies online?
@Ephraim Alonzo thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :) Appreciate it!
@Remy Canaan No problem =)

One of the best Halo soundtracks, shame it never appeared in the later games
This is some great job here!
Look! It's a Mark Five! Taller than I expected, more handsome too!
Masterpieces!
I searched my feelings and that's where it leads me
I swear the ingame version had choirs in it.
Yeah, I think they were slightly muffled in the ingame version
It kicks in later
They do; it's part of the OST released version's second rendition. You hear the choir in a lot of levels, like Halo and Keyes.

Best music to train to
i dont think much else could encapsulate that song title

This would be amazing to listen to if you are out in a swamp or forest with a group of friends in the middle of the night. Trying to find a way out.
Or Nerf Infection at night in the forest as you are with the last few survivors and there's 5 minutes left in the round.

In which level this song is played?
It plays in the "Halo" mission. Or level at least
It plays in 343 Guilty Spark and Keyes as far as I recall.
And plays during the final level The Maw when you're destroying the engine cores
It plays in practically every mission that takes place on Halo, since it is not played on the Pillar of Autumn (first level) but on the next one, Halo.
Halo, Silent Cartographer, Assault on the Control Room, 343 Guilty Spark, Two Betrayals (I think), Keyes and The Maw
Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Master Chiefs AFC Wild Card round, this plays when KC enters the field.
Huh
You want an award or somethin
