Minecraft world but it's on a Halo ring

Imagine, mankind building a 'halo' world, out a 'exotic' metal that does not oxidize, break, or go down in time, and can actually withstand asteroid and meteor impacts (not large ones obviously), having been put in a rotational move, perhaps around the moon, or some other (small) planet, causing a permanent rotation. an atmosphere grown due to the design and gravity working and a 'natural' effect of chemical reactions, an actual thriving and living ecosystem. To then experience, at some point, some cataclysmic event that wipes out 99,99999 % of all mankind (so only 0,00001% remaining alive) of 100 billion people on a giant ring, reduced to just a 10 thousand people. A combination of some horrible event, including disease, sickness, hunger, etc. Wiping out 75 to 85% of all animalkind too, and technology becoming inoperable and dangerous because of a lack of control and people to operate. That would send the remainder of people living in shelter, hiding, afraid, losing all their tech and benefits, just scattered on a ring.'Rebooting' so to speak. Now imagine that 'society', spread out so vast, that it's hardly possible to even meet one and another. It would take hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years before a 'safe' new 'colony' is established built within and upon and from the ruins of that former thriving world, of which tech is no longer understood, abandoned, and even forbidden perhaps, for it too to get destroyed for resources or for 'beliefs', and a belief, a religion starts. with a lifespan, perhaps genetically altered, to be 100 to 150 years, but the limited genetic diversity causing new 'sicknesses' and weaknesses to drop life expectancy significantly. In thousands of years, nobody would remember or know about the truth of history, and people just think their 'halo' is a natural object from space where they trive upon.

Man! This track adds so much to the mood of both missions, and precisely because you as the player might feel tension when using the sniper the first time or when you read "Final run" in the 2nd, you now know, what the chief might've been feeling.

Zoomers and Gen A's will never understand nor appreciate being a 90's kid who had only experienced games like the original Doom and had this game dropped into their lap. This was the first of its kind. This felt like the future had just been dropped into your lap, and the soundtrack SOLD that idea. Master Chief, Halo, and the future shooters of COD, Fortnite and so on were all unknown quantities that had yetto exist. It was just you and a great sci-fi arsenal against the Covenant and the Flood. Kids these days will, quite literally, never experience that shift in technology nor have any appreciation for what they have currently. They didn't have to live before it, they were born with it.

I was always a Nintendo kid growing up, so only very recently have I had the chance to play through the Halo series. I started with 1, and worked my way up through 5. This was before Halo Infinite released, so I powered through every mainline halo game (less ODST; didn't quite finish that one). To this day, this song and the mission it plays in still sticks in my head vividly. I hate stealth sections in games, yet something about the night atmosphere mixed with this almost ethereal music made me take things as slowly and methodically as possible. This quote more pertains to music, but I think it still works here: "A good artist can make a work of art you enjoy. A great artist can make you love something in a genre you'd hate."
