Being an Instagram fan, on a themed timeline, this is a very informative video. I'm already sold on getting myself a Lumia 830 as soon as I am ready to move from android.
+Edwin Ndegwa Kiragu Keep an eye out on future WP releases this year. The 830 was a solid mid-ranger when it came out, but I'm hoping we'll see a similarly positioned phone this year with updated guts.

I know someone who just got a Lumia 830 and he was complaining about the power key placement. Biggest facepalm ever!
Had somebody reply to one of my comments elsewhere to tell me how bad the Lumia 830 was at video and couldn't compare to the iPhone. Had to laugh xD

JuanBagnell From what I've seen from my gf's 830 it's pretty good all round. Still zippy enough even with the Snapdragon 400.
Yup. WP does a great job utilizing lower power hardware.

Hey ... thanks for doing the review a good job as always ... Yea I've looked at the 830 a couple of times at the Nokia store ,but I don't want to spend my saved phone money on mid range phone ... I bought the 920 just before the 1020 came out and so I will be waiting till the new phones come in 2015... there is one temptation that keeps looming ...the Note 4... I just never had an android phone before and so...
jonah travisano I think your plan works. If you're still using the 920, I don't know that the 830 would feel like a huge upgrade. I think waiting out first quarter next year isn't a terrible wait to see if we finally get our next WP flagship.
Yea I think I will do just that ... I just have to change the way I go home as I go by the Samsung store... I can hear the note 4 calling ...

Really thinking of selling my Lumia Icon for an 830. I kinda want that thin and light feel. Not to mention I'm using an Icon (Verizon) device out of the U.S.
Mejevoli It's tricky. Everything else about the 930 is better, but it is nice having a thinner phone and a memory card slot. If you're not really using the camera for example, the 830 makes a lot of sense.
Juan, I have a question.. I bought a 830 two days ago, and, it takes at least 4 hours to get the battery from 0% to 100%, is that right or is there something wrong?
Max HD Hmmmm... Over cable or wireless? Sounds a BIT long. I just got another 830 in to test, so lemme try and run the battery down.

Dude I love windows phone I have the Nokia Lumia 830 and the iPhone 6 plus and I must say the l830 camera is no match to the iPhone 6 plus camera. With the L830 as my daily driver
BIG1TOWER The iPhone camera is faster, both in opening the app, and shot to shot performance, but the OIS on the 830 gives the 830 the edge in a couple different shooting scenarios. With both using the same size sensor, I couldn't see any significant advantage in depth of field or bokeh blur, but on a subjective note, I like the look of hardware OIS in video better than software stabilization.
