- A Pennsylvania family was horrified to discover a hidden camera recording them in their hotel room, but are they the only ones being watched? The Wallace family said they found a concealed recording device in their room at a Virginia Beach hotel over Memorial Day weekend. Angela Wallace, her husband and 11-year-old daughter found the camera pointed at the shower during their stay at The Knights Inn and Suites. The Inside Edition investigative team went to the hotel and approached the manager. #InsideEdition

it's illegal but there is something called the "statute of limitations(SOL)" basically if a person has not been charged with a crime for a certain period of time as predetermined by written law then they cannot be charged with that crime even if it is proven said person committed such crime. Also even if he watched people have intimate exchanges its not actually a sex crime unless he was committing acts to or in front of persons blatantly, behind closes doors in the privacy of your own hotel attic watching live explicative activity. Infact most states don't even have laws to stop voyeurism specifically instead its privacy laws. For example if you're a girl walking down a public street in a skirt someone is taking pictures up said skirt wouldn't be illegal because there isn't legally an expectation of privacy doing the same in a hotel room where your literally paying for privacy is but because this gentleman didn't record video the only laws he was breaking were privacy laws which have sometimes a SoL of as little as 6 months and usually don't go over 2 years.

Srsly, check your hotel mirrors, people! Put your finger on the mirror. If there is a gap between your finger and the reflection, it’s a normal mirror. If not, it’s two-way. You can also record a video of you putting your camera to the mirror. If it’s see-through, the camera will reveal the hidden space.

Nasty creeps I hope all of them got caught. That is disgusting, mean, and just plain nasty. Hiding cameras to see people sleep, change, or even shower is point blank DISGUSTING. How dare they do that.
