- It's cold and just snowed the night before, but I wanted to take a ride on my 2024 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. In today's video, we take a motorcycle ride on the infamous Devil's Triangle located in the hills of east Tennessee using the Harley-Davidson Ride Planner.

Double yellow lines on a roadway only mean no passing.
Sundown town be carful bruh 🙏🏽💯💪🏽✌🏽
Being lost is the best way to see something you've never seen before.
Love riding the Devils Triangle. We ride ‘em like we stole ‘em on that road. In my opinion this is way better than the Dragon. I’m over by Cookeville. Hit me up if you want to ride some new amazing roads over in Putnam, Jackson, Smith, Clay, Overton counties and a few others. Great video. Ride on!
Awesome video Tall, I got worried for a second thought maybe you might start hearing banjos playing lol.thanks for sharing your knowledge and riding experiences with us. Love your videos and hope to ride with you one day!!.
I was thinking I knew that road. I was thinking over next to the smokies. Then I got it. I drove back in them mountains after I got out of the army in an old chevette. I came out next to Brushy mountain prison when it was still open. Some rustic cabins I would pass people would stare that made me feel uncomfortable. lol. I lived in Lake city at the time which is called rocky top now.
I was just on the road when the Waze app took me from Lake City-Rocky Top to Harriman. Saved about 60-80 miles cut off from driving around Knoxville. I loved that route. So beautiful.
Thanks for taking us along with ya. It's good to hear the bike so many people just play music.
I'd rather have no music, but sometimes music makes it a little more exciting.
Watching you from Quebec, Canada. Couple of feet of snow here... I lived in Tullahoma 30 years ago. Good times. Loved that video. Great job!
Navigation in Tennessee can be hilarious fun due to dead spots. Infact at times it can even have you running in circles, I know because I live and ride in Tennessee. I generally stop every now and then and compare my Navigation to my cell which usually fixes things. And sometimes no matter what you do LOST is the word of the day so just enjoy the ride, sooner or later you will come out somewhere.
Rode this when is down there 2 years ago is t was fun ride
That road would be nice in the summer 😊
I used to deliver fuel in that area when the natural gas wells were being put in, and some of the coal was still worked. Beautiful area Id like to go back with a motorcycle instead of a big tanker truck and ride. GPS off of cell phone is bad in most of the mountains.
Some hard core riding right there. Hats off to you. I live about 30-40 miles from your ride over towards Cumberland cap.
That Road has Some Wild Curves!
I put my headphone on for part two of the ride. Your bike sounds really good. Nice ride, I love reconning back road too. I enjoy the adventure and being outdoors.
up here in NH there is snow on the roads and also sand and salt so watching your videos keeps me out of trouble
Put it on a trailer and head south. That's my plan this winter.
They might think you’re crazy on the bike cold 🥶 as it is lol 😂
Love riding the backroads, I find my peace in those times. But definitely in the daytime..✌️❤️🙏
Even at dusk dark, in the hills it gets dark a lot earlier.
Have done a long ride across US and back home. Been 10 years for me but miss the road a lot. Thanks, really was there with you! Safe travels!!
Reaching out from Colorado. Merry Christmas Traveling Tall.
Loved the video. Your's is sure a beautiful bike. That route looks to be terrific, though riding it this time of year is certainly not the best. I've been riding for about 50 years now. Two of those on a motorcycle. Ha! All the rest on a bicycle. But, I ride my bicycle between 4 and 8 thousand km per year, with at least one cycling / camping tour of 2-to-6 weeks each year. My biggest fear on the bike is one I expect I share with motorcyclists. Ice in a curve. Often times you're riding on a dry roadway when you go into a sharp curve, and the road is in the shade. With ice you can go from riding to sliding in less than a second. I've done in pretty bad twice. Once when I was riding about 35 kph. No fun.
Today, at 72, I wish I had kept on longer with a motorcycle, and also had done touring on a motorcycle. I'll have to check out more of your videos. Hopefully I find some touring in there. Keep the rubber side down.
Oh yeah! Are you riding with heated gloves, boots, etc. at this time of year?
I'm figuring 38 in TN feels greatly different than 38 in MN in Dec. 😁🥶🥶
As long as you have fuel, you are not lost on a bike. 😀
Never knew that about double yellow lines. Good to know.🤙🏾
As long as you stay fully covered, and you're outta there by dark, you'll be ok.
You’re totally wrong
The bike sounds great!!
Hey TT great ride. Try some "wraparound" frames and send them to Revant Optics Emerald Green MirrorShield Elite Polarized.
That's the sunglass setup I run on the road , great contrast and glare reduction. Really clears the view you won't regret it
If I didn’t see all that snow on the ground I’d swear it was a nice warm day out there
16:55 that’s where G Kue tour pack came open and his hats hit the road lol
Tall that red light was probably a heat lamp on the water well pump or water line exposed. But I didn't see the light you spoke about. Double lines just means no passing on either side of the road.
Another awsome video.
Merry Christmas to you and all of the family.
Scary ride on Mountain road. I would want other people on that ride incase something happens.
That's was some nice back road action Tall👍🏿. Those rural areas like you may run up on a farm and ain't talking about no livestock farm😬. Yeah, that sun will mess your eyes up😄!! Thanks for taking us along💯. When I rode the Tail of the Dragon last year during your event, I lost GPS signal and it came back once I reached Deal's Gap. Stay safe!!!
Bruh when I come back up your way, you have to take me on those back roads. Great video
the road he is on is part of the road we took G KUE on i know all these Roads i do live here lol
This state is friendly unless you give us a reason not to be….beautiful bike brother!
I know that feeling with the strobe lite effect. It's cool at first then what the heck happened ? I'm dizzy hahaha
Love That Ride Video! Very enjoyable seeing the ride and listening to you talk 😎👍
Really liked this video. Looking forward to RTTH's 5. Wondering where you will lead us. Moonshiner 28? What about the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley?
You be careful out there tall and it doesn’t hurt to have the clickety clack on you either. 🤷🏽♂️
Love the view from the driver's perspective.
Be safe tall
Thank you no name
Love these kind of rides. That part of Tennessee makes for a beautiful ride. The people in that area are great people as well. Excellent video, enjoyed it.
Nothing like deer
I still haven’t got to ride tail of the dragon yet, hopefully this coming summer 🤞🏼
Very nice ride Tall, I brought up google maps to follow you with the location mile stones you called out. By the way, its legal run those lights if you hear banjo music. LOL
I enjoyed the ride!
Nice ride Tall . . . Double yellow in NC means no passing either side. Great footage 👍🏾
Same everywhere 🤣
Yes, it means that every I. The US, but what I meant was if the line is double yellow, it means it connects to a major highway on both ends.
Would love to know about your gear for cold weather. My gear is good for down to 40 but after that it gets unfun. I've been over the Cherohala at 28 degrees but I knew it would warm up once I got below 3500 feet. Keep on Glid'in....... year round
Haha, so if I would have watched these in order I'd have my answer. 😂
I knew where you were as soon as I saw the old service station next to the New River General Store!
The little yellow triangle warning light that pops up on the dash… that’s the TRUE Devil’s Triangle. Lol.
Nice Video. Happy Holidays to you and family. Stay Safe
Love Tennessee
Me too
Thank you for watching.
Nah. Too many deer
👀 the devil triangle. Nope I'm going to devil triangle to Bed 😂😂
Looks like you got that whole road to yourself
Your ride felt like mine today. Wanted to get to northeast md from central md and it was 33 degrees out. Roads were winding and the more I rode the more snow I saw on the edges and some icy patches. Finally gave up and went home. Too risky. Your route looks like it would be fun in the summer but not this time of yr.
I never use the nav system on the bike. I think it's jacked up. 😂
Good one TT
I recognize this area.... Bigfoot lives around here somewhere!!
🤣 only in the summer.
that happened to me but it also told me i was out of gas also
Nice ride
I did some research on double yellow lines. It ONLY means "No Passing". Not that it leads to a highway on both ends or anything like that.
🤣 yes, maybe I should clarify my statement. If you are on a road that has lines 9 times out of 10 it will take you to a major road.
Roads that don't have lines usually in Tennessee are just residential roads that do not connect directly to the main highways.
Happy holidays Tall
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you.
👀 the highway you're writing It's the like dragon highway, they call it
What exhaust are you running on that bad boy. They sound awesome.
I saw your flag on the lower left of your jacket and you are tall enough 😂
I stopped using the Harley navigation. Its let me down countless times. I bought a wireless car play adapter and just use maps on my phone. Its not perfect either but much more reliable.
I always hated the sun blinking through the trees , it does mess with your eyes
Yes, it's blinding. It's even worse without a tinted shield.
I’ve definitely experienced that before specially on the roads near Tail Of Dragon my phone doesn’t work
You ain't going to get a signal on the dragon. The best thing you can do is get on the wifi at the dragon Gas station.
Good decision on Devil’s Triangle NOT being a good choice for a large group ride, i.e. Run To The Hills V.
Yeah, i believe it's a little too intense for a large group.
How was your suspension work out in the curves
Tall are you wearing heated gear or just pushing through the cold weather?
You’re tough for riding in 37 degree weather. It’s something I can’t do.
Pan america the faster way is to cut thru the mountains😂
Good video, but not my favorite type of ride. I like long 60+ mph sweepers much more. Merry Christmas to you and yours
I prefer sweepers, too.
💪🏾💪🏾
I see you got it on sport mode when you hit the ice. Why didnt you switch to rain mode, Im curious?
i guess you answered it at 14:30
Tall,
Please send me your settings for your Go Pro. I can’t get nearly as much battery out of mine as you do. Help me out please. I’m not a publisher, but I like to record my rides to reminisce in my old age.
Thanks Tall.
Double yellow lines mean no passing
Your GPS is automatically updating your directions. I have the same issue all the time. It will pop up on the screen 'we found a faster route'. If I don't physically hit no on screen, it will automatically update the route.
I guess it's based on traffic or some other factors. I can not find a way to turn it off? If anyone knows...I would love to know.
School says permanently closed
Rosedale elementary is permanently closed
I'm not a huge fan of the Dragon either, there are better roads with less people.
man if you think that road is good you need to come over a little more JamesTown TN Fentress County we have big S Fort Pickett State Park we have some good curvy roads we have aces and eights ride over here We have Dale Hollow Lake pall Mall Alvan C York look it up
Tall you work for law enforcement
no, why do you ask?
😂 you keep missing the turns because you're watching the road. Or it keeps trying to get you to take gravel roads.
Double yellow means no passing both directions. Come on, I know you know that.
Ride on!
