Ask your bank teller for old paper or dollar coins. They sometimes have shit they'll just give you at face. I know one guy who got a 1954 devil hair $1000 note. Like a $20,000 value bill. Canadian banks are nuts for old stuff. Best to go to a bank in an older community area.
All those bills are definitely out of circulation, and are becoming more difficult to find outside of the collector market. I’d love to get my hands on that stack!!!
money that comes in bill form is now made of plastic , so paper money is not common anymore here in Canada , also we us a totally different design now on all our modern bills that are made of plastic, paper money that you say is modern is still not in circulation and has a totally different design .
You prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
I’m Canadian living in Toronto. We don’t use 2 dollar bills anymore. Some of the 5 bills are newer, and we recently updated our 10 dollar bill to have viola Desmond. Now, we have a 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 dollar bills, and no pennies anymore. We use nickels, dimes, loonies, quarters, toonies. Also we dont use 1 d bills. Now all our bills aren’t notes, they are a special type of kind of shiny sea through paper. If you have any questions about Canada please ask me, anyone! Ps we still have cool collector coins. Thank u so much for not butchering Cana, and being nice! And yes we only colourise most of our collector coins at the Winnipeg coin mint.
Wow. That's a great overview with a lot that I've been able to learn! Interesting fact about the Winnipeg mint. I visited my uncle in Montreal area and was impressed with the new currency, but while it was a fun one-time experience, I think I prefer the American composition of currency.
I've never seen most of this currency in circulation. It seems like Canada is really quick to update their bills. I'm only 17 and the bills that were new when I was younger (the 5's with the guys playing hockey on the back) have been completely purged from what I see. You'll never see paper money, at least here in western Canada. Hell even the 10 dollar bills i mostly see nowadays are the vertical ones and those are brand spanking new
All those banknotes are super hard to find in circulation, the only ones you’ll see are the journey series ones (2002-2012) but still difficult to find as we do not use paper banknotes anymore.
2000 and 1999 where monthly series for the 25 cents (24 total). The second one (I think) was a canada wide school contest for the design of the new millenium
You have a few coins with good money, 53-54 Penny, 2006 non magnet with creator mark, 2006 magnetic without mint mark and creator initials can be a 6000 coin, 65 nickel if correct metal can me 15000, 1969 long 69 can be a 20000 coin, year 2000 dime with a P under the queen is a 25000 coin sale with the quarter, 1948 silver dollar 15000 coin... you have a bunch and you prob have them away lol
Also check 1's n 2s from 54 for face of the devil in the queen's hair very rare 73 quarters with the mountie r made of silver low nickel also the Nichols pre was or with v are pure nichol also v is for victory to mark winning ww2 not 5 like u said lol the silver coins with loons are worth 20$$ last I saw most of the Bill's aren't worth nothing the king George's r beat up to much
From Nova Scotia, the dollar bills were taken out of circulation all together for coin called the loony and the two dollar bill was later also removed and replaced with a coin called the toony. The majority of those bills are no longer used as currency Canada is now using a polymer type of paper as currency. So these are all collectible
Hi, its Gary Bailey contacting you and wondering if you could put together a fifty dollar grab bag for me of British, Canadian, Australian, Ireland, and other colonies for that is what I collect the most, and I'm disabled and don't have the full $100 or$250.
I’m sad that you spent all those paper ones ): all of them are worth more than face because we don’t make paper anymore as they are COMPLETELY out of circulation you will never find them unless you get really Luckey at a bank. All of the old bills from 1954 are also surprisingly valuable the 1 dollar bills bringing in 5 dollars a piece in circulated condition. Also Canada does colonize their own coins which I think is pretty cool (:
We do all our own colouring of coins too as we are the first country in the world to colourize our coins. The Royal Canadian mint also strikes coins for 40+ countries as well.
I work in a coin shop and my boss wanted to exchange it. It wouldn't really have been worth the time to sell it (profits would be small). I was going to Canada so he gave it to me to exchange, and I saved some of the stuff I thought viewers would be interested in.
next week will end the 1 2 25 500 and 1000 dollar banknotes will no longer be deem as legal tender should keep and look up the preflex could of had a replacement note

I buy and sell Canadian Coins on ebay at at times. I do have both the 1937 One and Two dollar Bills with King George VI. I received today a coin I have never seen anything like it in my life. It is a 1972 D Kennedy Half Dollar, the reverse has the engravers initials. The Coin has a bubble on both sides of the coin in the centre. Huge one. It looks like his cheek is stuffed full like a chipmunk, and the Eagle on the Reverse has the opposite bubble out. This is just not man made. I think it is two different sized planchets maybe? If anyone has any idea on why this anomaly has occurred or any info on looking it up, I would appreciate the help.
Look up for Coin Opp Dustin just look at his videos ....you can send him a ms on youtube he will help you, And is got an email that you can go to . From Canada hope it will help you .
@@TreasureTownCoins it delivered Christian! Omg so jealous right now lol love them Victory 5 cents, georges and young heads! Thank you very much p.s, if you havent found someone to buy those coins, let me know 😊👍

My god, I live in Canada and if I find something like that I would probably go nuts! These are absolutely fantastic!!

Christian , that very first $10 & all $1s earlier then 73 I would LOVE to have . Is there a arrangement you could offer.?
Hi Garland - I ended up selling all of them.
And the coin at 10:17 is a sign of curing cancer
Thanks Kristian!
Yukon quarter is a part of 1992 125th anniversary of the confederation
All those bills are definitely out of circulation, and are becoming more difficult to find outside of the collector market. I’d love to get my hands on that stack!!!
The one and 2 dollar bill were pulled from circulation and replaced with the loonie and toonie coin, save those along with the other paper bills
I did save a lot of em! Thanks for the comment Andrux.
money that comes in bill form is now made of plastic , so paper money is not common anymore here in Canada , also we us a totally different design now on all our modern bills that are made of plastic, paper money that you say is modern is still not in circulation and has a totally different design .
save all paper money it will become more valuable soon
You prolly dont care at all but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account??

Shaan Singla: S.S Productions I live in Canada too did you mention loonies?
500 dollar bills ehhh
500?
Your the last guys I'd ask!! Fucking loser
Please can you give some coins to me
OMG! Why would you want to spend all these amazing coins?! I just wanna put them all in my collection! They're so awesome!!!!!
Kept a fair amount of the cooler stuff!

Ask the bank teller next time you're in if they have old paper. Some will let you have it at face value
This was definitely fun and super exciting seeing all of this...💯✔
Thanks for the comment!
I really enjoyed this video!
You should have kept all of that, I know I would have
i wish i can get my hands on a few of those bills and coins
I would love to buy some of the old paper money and some of the older coins maybe like about 50 dollars is what could spend
I'll let you know - maybe I can sell some of the old Canadian paper money and a few cool coins for that price!
In Canada we have plastic bills now, no more paper, 1$ and 2$ bills are also not being made any more
The Old Canadian coins are valuable and do some research on them, could be passing up A lot of money.
Silver was removed from Canada's money supply in 1968 but roughly 50 percent made it through the year process as silver
1973 is for the anniversary of the mounties. (That 25c can be expensive depending on the bust (small vs large))
I wish I can have most of those bills because I live in Canada, I would pay face value for all if I could
D 192706 Play you gotta pay more than face value. Too bad you didn’t win the World Cup LOLLL
Canadav has 73 different coin styles over the years for currency.
Roughly
You dont see much of them here now in Canada
I have 1 & 2 bills
Looking for rest of older canadian notes
Everything yu have is pretty rare in Kamloops B.C in Canada 🇨🇦 i 🍒 pick and we call it a Canadian penny i have that 2006 for cancer
That government and the crown amendment the Canadian Charter of Rights and Constitution in 1982 that's why that 82 coin was made

I did! A good idea, I think.

Please don’t exchange these; these have been long out of circulation and this is coming from someone born in 2000
I ended up selling them.

1982 Canadian dollar coin were the reverse is a 190 degrees to the obverse is valuable
I had to laught at "newer stuff", while showing currency almost never seen in circulation for almost a decade XD
I’m sad that you spent all those paper ones ): all of them are worth more than face because we don’t make paper anymore as they are COMPLETELY out of circulation you will never find them unless you get really Luckey at a bank. Older Canadian bills with a star in front of the serial numbers are worth money and one's with the devils face in the Queens hair are valuable.
They switched to coin for dollar and two dollars they last longer and people spend them more to get them out of their pockets as bulky
We do all our own colouring of coins too as we are the first country in the world to colourize our coins. The Royal Canadian mint also strikes coins for 40+ countries as well.
5heres no more 1 or 2 Dollar bills that's an amazing collection to checkout 😍👍
Where do you find coins at a fair price, AND where do you find coins during a shortage? TY, Sir
Where did u get all that old money? U are very lucky to have it!
I work in a coin shop and my boss wanted to exchange it. It wouldn't really have been worth the time to sell it (profits would be small). I was going to Canada so he gave it to me to exchange, and I saved some of the stuff I thought viewers would be interested in.
Im french from Quebec and your French is pretty good 👍🏼
Thanks!
I'm Canadian we should totally trade Canadian for special American coins.
There are regular year loonies and toonies worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Check for the ones for 1cents pointed 65 or85, also varities like old 2012 loonie or toonie or errors of the cent for 2006
That unique loony he called was the Canadian war monument
You should have those verified, those bills are not in circulation now.
You already took this all back up to Canada?
Deposited a fair amount of it ($500 CAD) and kept the older stuff and any big dollars.
next week will end the 1 2 25 500 and 1000 dollar banknotes will no longer be deem as legal tender should keep and look up the preflex could of had a replacement note
Hey yo, trade some of those currencies with me pls, I really need some of those notes for my collection
i now have the $5.00 bank note printed form 2000-2010
