You know you're getting old when you start watching vacuum cleaner videos.
Oh my! Same thought!lol
and you LIKED watching it! My God what is happening to me.
I must be old then :/
At only 29
@@alb9022 man, I'm 20.
I've watched two of these and I'm 13😂😂
I ain’t even buyin a vacuum but I watched the whole thing
Julian Molano right?
Me too
I know right? He tested everything but how much of a pain in the ass some.can be to clean.
Julian Molano lol
What a sucker!
Your tests are amazing. I love how you divided them into 3 groups: low end, mid range, and premium. This is the perfect buyers guide for cordless vacs. Keep up the great work!
Thanks!
Vacuum Wars - Any chance that we’re going to see a Xiaomi Dreame V9 or Xiaomi Mijia review in the near future!?!?
This is how I wish all UA-cam reviews were produced. Gets right to the point. The criteria is thoughtful and on point, it moves quickly, and it doesn't derail itself by telling awful jokes. Great job.
I'm going to be real here and say that I am not that interested in vacuum cleaners nor do I see myself buying a new one in the near future. Its 2AM and just this popped up in my recommended section for some reason and I must say this is the most thorough and enjoyable vacuum cleaner comparison I have ever seen. Keep up the great work. I look forward to watching more vacuum cleaner content in the future.
Aditya M same 😂
ROTFL
ditto
Google algorithms are omniscient.
😂😂
wtf this is the most extensive and well done vs i've ever seen
This is one of the most unbiased tests ever. Thanks
Confusing!
@@deniseholloway do you not understand simple concepts?
Totally Agree
So you agree with what he's saying? I need to get a new vacuum
What?
I give a thumbs up purely based on the fact this warlord of a reviewer carried all of those vacuums. Applause break please...👏🏽
I honestly think this is the best review of anything I've ever seen. Was just looking for the fist category but watch all reviews just because was such quality content thanks.good work.
These are amazingly entertaining to watch, thank you for being through and for the attention you pay to details and the work you put into this
Thank you for this thorough cordless vacuum test, I've owned so many vacuums through the years, my Mom purchased Kirby's back in the 50-60's, at that time it was the Mercedes Benz of vacuums. Today, I'm a Senior and can't handle heavy vacuums anymore, so on a whim and skeptical I purchased the Tineco, I was soo happy at how light and how easy it was to clean - I will never go back!!!
I just really appreciate all the thought, time and effort put into this video. Thank you.
Thank you sincerely for the time that you put in for this, not to mention the video is to the point .
Very helpful !
I subscribed , thank you again :)
Wow this might be one of the coolest finds I've ever found on UA-cam! I was already leaning towards the shark duoclean but this review really sealed the deal for me. I just love the scientific approach you took when designing the comparison test. I will definitely be a long term fan
Have close to zero interest is this stuff but watched the whole thing. Perfect UA-cam reviews.
Quite a comprehensive test, one important requirement from my mother when searching for a vacuum was for the trigger to be able to stay on due to her arthritic hands , we only found one at the time which was a hoover so it got the nod.
bruh, I can't even afford the budget ones, I'll stick to my broom
😆
😂😂😂
😂
How do you brush a carpet?
Just started watching and already your method of analysis puts the facts to the fore.
Dude you're awesome. I never expected such a thorough review on a vacuum but damn, I'm glad you took the time to make it.
Now I would like to see a competition of 1st 2nd in every category to determine the best of the best.
I am just glad that I bought one Moosoo K17 before seeing this thorough review video. Kudos to the king of the vacuum!
did you compare it to the other vacuums?
Me too . Felt like I got it right.
thank you for being so thorough!! I purchased a vacuum after watching your videos last year and I still love it!!!
WOW!! Thank you so much for this fantastic review. I have decided on Dyson V10 instead of Dyson V11. Excellent review, much appreciated. (from UK)
i didn't expect someone so dedicated. thanks a lot for the upload mate. we got the v10 absolute with the flurry head on sale and so far we are mind boggled compared to a one or two decades old miele. a upgrade well needed
I'm here to learn what vacuum I should drop hints for as my Christmas present. I really want / need a vacuum for Christmas. This is what my life has succumbed to.
What did you decide? I'm still on the fence what to get mom!
Lol...I'm right there with you.
I got her the Shark Ion (x80) idk the $239 one, it was the best reviewed that I could find. She freaking loved it woot. I'm the good son for the day suhweet
😀
Now we're under quarantine, don't you wish for that life?
I own a Dyson V8 and is good vacuum battery life is as specified in the review, the best thing is that while vacuum threre's no trace of dust in the output.
Must say, you detailed review made me get the jimmy vacuum. So far I’m liking it. 95% hard surface flooring
You still like it?
Appreciate this comparison test, makes choosing a new one circumspect.
I have the Shark Duo Ion Flex (the one the F80 replaced), and I'm super happy with it. Not having to deal with different heads for different surfaces is great; just a push of a button changes the brush roll speed. As well, the motorized head has lights on it. Something the Dyson's have never had.
Wow that must have taken a WHILE to edit, I bet you had a lot of footage. Very thorough - thank you!
Great video. We’ve had our Shark p50 a year here in the UK and we love it. We’re dog owners and have three floors in our house. We can do everything and still have charge to spare. Highly recommended.
ive been waiting for this moment, and here it is
Nice!
Thanks for talking about the sealed air output filtration which is a very important and often overlooked aspect.
I surprised myself and spent the $500. I love you did this. Thank you for the thorough testing.
I never log in. I never thumbs-up. I never leave comments.
Until now. Sweet fancy Moses this was well done.
I've bookmarked it to review again later.
Can you review everything I'm interested in buying?
I know, how much easier it would be!
Hahahah!
This video is the most legit thing on UA-cam 2019/2020
Ever*
Yes!!!!! Just bought my wife on 11/29/19 the Dyson v10 absolute for $399 black friday plus docking kit. Such a good price!! So happy after this review, she's gonna love it. Also best reviewer ever! Keep up this amazing "free" service you provide. You''re awesome
This was outstanding. Holy moly, great presentation. Thank you.
I’m happy to see how well the dyson v10 absolute fared! I just bought one In December and I’m very happy with my first Dyson
Liss Bliss same here
Bought mine around 10 months ago and love it! also we got the accesories pack for free
Wow, that was amazingly thorough, even-handed and informative!
The scientific rigour with which you conducted your review is commendable. This is just fantastic work.
This is a seriously good analytical video. Lot of hard work went behind the scene which might go unappreciated. Keep it up!
Excellent ...and I do mean excellent review. Thank you.
BTW: I had purchased my Dyson V8 over 4 years ago. Love it. Glad to see how it compared.
I love my dyson, have had it for 2 yrs.
Wow! Thanks for putting everything in perspective! Made my analysis paralysis disappear! New subscriber because you're awesome!
Really well presented with good technical tests and feed back.. Keep up the work :-)
Dyson V10 won in the premium range by a fine margin. I have a Dyson V11 which is the newer version and I’m super impressed. I recommended this one!
I'd be interested in seeing a comparison between mop and vacs in one ie. hizero, bissel
Wow, that was very thorough and informative, thank you for a great job.
This looks like it was a lot of work and so detailed! Thank you
When are you reviewing the LG cord zero vacuum? It would've been a nice addition here.
The best will be the one that still works when its guarantee is up.
Imagine, I’ve been here since 2006 and watched countless reviews on everything possible. Guns, guitars, hockey equipment, yo-yos, shoes, tools, paint and art supplies, computer parts and electronic accessories, car parts, motorcycles, food, drinks, music, you name it I’ve probably checked it out..This mans video should be the standard for all reviews. I didn’t have to skip through, or speed up the video.
I already own higher end dyson, just wanted to see it’s competition as I use it everyday, it’s a workhorse. Thanks for your review, really refreshing.
thanks so much!
And this is why UA-cam will always be here. Thank you for saving me hours of research. Love the attention to detail.
I appreciate that!
My phone nor my iPad were near me last night when I was talking to my mom about her needing a new, lighter vacuum. And...here this review pops up. Creepy. Yet very convenient in advance of Christmas!
suzan1mal The same thing happened to me.
You have to check out the Jimmy Brush head available on Amazon. I feel like that was the one downside to this vacuum and they finally sell a brush roll!
Hey mate! I tried googling the brush but couldnt find any.. Do you mind linking it or telling me where I can find it? Cheers
@@felixedin8764 the JV83 comes with both rolls. Just do some googling and use Amazon search. Looks like they don't sell the JV51 anymore.
I got Tinco for my aunt on basis of the review and i got Tinco on 100 sterling discount. Dual battery and dust sensing suction auto suction makes battery use last longer. Usually change battery when capacity drops to 20%. My aunt loves it. Having 2 smaller battery also means its probably lighter than dyson. Good reviews
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! I'll be on the watch out for a new vacuum on Black Friday :) Just in time thank you
V11 torque drive is incredible, suction is best in class i'm not one to really give points just because of extra batteries or numerous more accessories (these are meant to be cordless and portable).
Was really hoping you had tool brand vacuums like makita, ryobi, milwaukee etc. Would love to see how those stack up. Would be a great multi purpose use of tool batteries
Pops just bought the Makita, seems pretty good, simple design and lots of suck power. The easy to swap batteries we already have around, bonus.
I dont give a dang about some vacuums. But I'll watch whatever this guys reviews. This is dedication!👍
I had a Dyson and hated it. The batteries didn't last long enough and I had to keep the button pressed at all times to use it and it gave me blisters. I returned and got a Shark with an extra battery and love it! I still have a corded Dyson that I use for more deep cleaning, but the cordless Shark is the one I use everyday. Great review!
bought the Jimmy and it's been awesome so far, thank you for making this review
He protecc
He attacc
But most importantly
He can vacc
LOL this is hilarious
Got a V10 Absolute and it's honestly the best vacuum we've had. We've had a good old rainbow and loved that for a while but as vacuum tech increased it was starting to suck so we went with a Hoover react upright vacuum and that was a world better but didn't last nearly as long as our rainbow did. Now we have the Dyson and it's unbelievable how much better it is. Our house seems to stay cleaner and that's mostly due to the fact that there is a level of convenience involved with being able to just pull it out of the closet and go, no grabbing a cord no nothing. Coupled with the fact that it has nearly the same or better suction then our previous vacuums it makes it a complete upgrade through and through. and now with the different attachments we can actually keep our couches clean which is actually stopped us from buying new couches. So all in all I am way more impressed with Dyson than I thought I'd ever be.
thank you for the excellent review, it really helped on buying my first cordless vacuum
I went to purchase a cordless vacuum and very quickly changed my mind based entirely on the fact that all the ones I was able to try had all the weight at the handle. Even a few moments in the store using them were uncomfortable. Also, if you need to stop to move furniture or a toy you have to lay it down on the floor. I found them very inconvenient and can cope with a cord.
I have no idea why I am watching this but I'm weirdly fascinated
Always so thorough 👍🏼
I really like the speed of your videos thanks for the good info! 👌
I don't know why this ended up in my recommendation, but its a nice video
Love shark vacuums but I must say the Dyson cordless is amazing too just wish they cane with two batteries 🔋
DoodleSparklecleaning Dyson battery dies after a year and you’re forced to get expensive repairs.
Dude, you put a lot of work into this video, we are in the market and this was very informative, thank you.
One of my friennds used to work at Sear's complaint department . He told me that the selling objects they have the most complaint about is the plastic vacuum cleaner called D....son . It breaks easily when it falls in a staircase or elsewhere .Sometimes the same day consumer used it for the first time .Have fun ! I'm not a robot nor an A.I. My friend's name is R. B.
I wonder how the jimmy would do with the upholstery attachment for the carpet cleaning test?
The God of Vaccumes is back
I have been taking Tuesdays off, I have found that its taking me a lot more time than expected to put together these big competition videos.
@@VacuumWars I bet..Thank you..
Thor's less famous brother...
@@VacuumWars I can't wait for the 2020 version. Maybe once a year wouldn't be so bad. Lots of research and time efforts! Best reviews I've seen. Maybe you you consider getting into flat irons and blow dryers. Beauty hot tools are always a hard task for women who are tired of getting their hair fried (LIKE ME, HA!) and want to spend a decent amount of money on these. BUT WAIT A SECOND... Maybe Dyson will outdo every other brand again lol! Anywho, I love how unbiased your reviews are.
I’m so adult I watch vacuum reviews on UA-cam. You are niche and I love you
Been waiting patiently for this vid
Cool!!!
I’m the 1% actually looking to buy a vacuum
Which vacuum did you end up buying? I am debating between the v10 and the v11
I am too !
Brian Hendrickson I was in the same boat as you, but I decided to buy the V11 Absolute over the V10 as it has a big improvement on suction over its predecessor. Depending on your budget, you should decide on whether the extra power and battery life is worth it on the V11, versus the V10.
Brian Hendrickson i just bought the V10 animal for 375 dollars/298 pounds
Miguel Herrera update on ur vacuum?
I only buy Dyson and have done for a long time. The quality and cleaning is incredible.
So is the price, and not in a good way.
@@guygordon2780 You definitely get what you pay for.
@@ericgeorge5483 Actually, you get *at most* what you pay for. I happen to like Dyson vacs. I just think their higher-priced models are all overpriced. YMMV
I just bought a Dyson v11 and I think it's amazing. 45min on medium is impressive because it's so powerful. Low is fine for hardwood and it lasts forever. High power mode is just too much for most tasks but nice to have. The only negative is the weight, but it's still easy enough to use with the powered head.
This is the greatest vacuum review video Ive ever seen. Thank you so much for this!
Have to beg to differ on the mid-price results. Having both the V8 and the Shark Ion P50 and having used them both for several years, I can say that for me, the V8 is hands down better. The P50 may be lighter and the handle, but that clunky head makes it less maneuverable. It's foam filter is clogged constantly and there is dust outside the filter which would indicate leakage. And worst of all, it gets super tangled with carpet fluff and the brush roll needs constant cleaning. The Dyson is also far better at removing pet hair from dog beds and furniture with or without the small powered nozzle. And it can vacuum stairs without even removing the carpet head. I know I may sound a bit like 'Vacuum Facts', but as an experienced user, I'd have to say he's mostly right.
I've owned a Janitorial company for 30 years and you make great points. These are initial tests however as you point out, you can't judge any equipment until you have used it a while. Especially vacuums seem to all work fairly well the first little while but later on what matters are those that keep on performing well over time. What I would like to see is paper filters for cordless. Yeah Yeah, the cyclone is all the rage but each has a hepa filter because they do not trap everything. I'd rather have a hepa bag and once done, discard the bag and all the dirt and dust and put in a new one. You would as well have better air flow not having to push the air through so many different passages and filters. Air friction plays a big role in air flow and suction.
@@DrakeShattuck Thank you for your comment, as it's helped me a lot. I have such severe allergies, and am looking for the best Hepa system. Well, I probably couldn't afford that, but would love to have one w/ a Hepa bag!!
I would also love to see the 'Philips Speedpro (Max)' or is that maybe not on the market there ?
A big thank you for a no nonsense review. Excellent work. Intelligent and very helpful commentary.
I don’t care what people say, but I absolutely love all of Hoover’s products. I’ve had some over the years. They do so good at cleaning my carpets. They also bring my carpets back to life by making them soft and making them look new. I choose Hoover over any other.
I enjoy videos like this one more than most TV shows that I actually follow on network, cable, and streaming networks.
I purchased a Dyson V11 within a couple months' of its release and am super happy with it.
Good video. I can tell you put a lot of work into this. I should be curious if you could incorporate testing that would mimic what someone encounters in a workshop/garage environment. Obviously there are many similarities to your tests here but there are certain things like removing sawdust down in nooks and crannies, and The volume of the tank where material resides. I also think the ease of dumping the vacuum is worth measuring
This is good to think about. Thanks.
Randomly got this video recommended and it made me want to buy a vacuum.
I bought a Eufy a couple of years ago. Love it. It was about $100.
This man deserves a Noble Peace Prize!
Or at least a piece prize!
This test is obviously accurate because my model won!
Thanks for this! Just bought a house and looking at vacuums and this was great.
Such great informative video 👌🏼
You made my life easier by making my decision with ease
Thank you so much again for the fabulous video
Thank you so much for this review man. It's exactly what I been looking for. Just bought a Moosoo K17. Also, just some ideas, I think it would be good to include Dyson V6/V7 in the lower range test, it's a bit more expensive but great test since they are the most name brand popular module. Either way, thanks again!
BEST VACCUM REVIWER EVER!👍🏻
Can you review the ROOMBA e5?
I know right/ I keep meaning to get an e5 but I forget. Ill make a note of it.
DUDE!! I LOVE YOU!!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING STUFF LIKE THIS!!!
This is the next level play, thank you!
It cannot be a proper vacuum wars without the dreame v9
And the new xaiomi handheld vacuum cleaner
Although i gave you a like and i will give u a bigger one if I could
Thanks for everything
Maybe next time. He did test the roidmi v8 storm.
Interesting why did F8 score “N/A” in some tests (along some others)... It would also be very interesting to see the brand new ROIDMI X20 tested along the others (is it much better than F8?).
