I have seen this quite often . They sort of hang the egg case out the back end to air it . We'll i don't know why they do it actually .😂I know they still have live young but they can abort the egg sack this happens when you feed them to ants quite often .It also happened when I feed my b.aurarum .There is an egg case in the enclose .
My female dubia do something similar. It looks like an egg case But no baby roaches coming out. Sometimes they drag it off on the wood pieces i have in there for them to sit on. It doesn’t seem to harm the females from my experience. At least I have yet to notice any of my females passing due to this behavior. I also have two female hissing roaches that do the same thing. It’s odd, I’m not quite sure what it is, but my two hissers that do that more regularly than the dubia aren’t passing. Maybe it serves a purpose for them that we don’t understand.

It's so weird! I love the theory of airing the egg sac lmao
