Im considering small engine repair as a hobby. Looking into Penn Foster. My interest started when a friend gave me a push mower. It was seized up everywhere mechanically. After cleaning it up and watching a few videos I had it running in 3 pulls. Im hooked now.

Well, I have now accumulated a bunch of old mowers and weed eating remnants and a few chainsaws and am thinking about just rebuilding them and selling them and doing a yard or two on the side from time to time since I have a steady job at a meat processing place. Thoughts?
I started years ago. I worked at a shop doing landscape Maintenance work and when it rained i worked in the shop, got the bug and went to school with NRI years ago, part of the cost was to spend a week at the Tecumseh factory, and get a diploma from there as well. Then go a job in a shop for a few years before going on my own. I use Amsoil Oils and Lubes all the time, i don't use Opti anymore.
@@clsmallenginerepair3814 I know the 4 stroke oil is a little more money, but it lasts much longer and it is better for the engine and the customer like that i care that much about their mowers and their pocket to use the best on the market as well. The 2 stroke oil is great, my customers say they don't have the smoke issues anymore like with the Opti oil. You can buy that in the small packets as well like the Opti.
