Cort’s modern take on the oldest form of guitar, the Gold-OC8 Nylon was designed for players that are less accustomed to a traditional classical guitar but still wanting to play the nylon strings.
Narrower nut width (48mm) and a smooth Venetian cutaway enables players from non-classical background to easily approach and get used to playing the Gold-OC8 Nylon, and the guitar is spec'd out with the usual Gold series goodness: Aged to Vintage (ATV) torrefied solid top with solid Pau Ferro sides and back, ebony fingerboard, double-lock neck joint, and walnut reinforced neck for maximum stability, sustain, and just overall good tone.
The Gold-OC8 Nylon is also equipped with Fishman's top of the line Flex Blend system, so that whether you're recording at home or playing it in larger venues, simply plug it in and unleash the sounds without losing fidelity.

I will be honest - as a Cort dealer I find this video pretty uninspiring. The guitar is actually great but the guy doing the interview - considering its a Cort promotional video is totally underwelming - where is the enthusiasm for the product? The blend facility for example - Nobody plays a guitar with 100% internal mic because it sounds like pants - and will sound like pants in the most expensive instrument on the planet. The internal rumblings of the inside of the guitar are not pleasant - but they do provide an excellent backwash to the more detailed and crystal clear tone of the under saddle - this is why its calls a blend. You blend that background wash into the mix to give an incredibly natural tone. I just dont feel this was addressed well and demoing with full on 100% internal pickup just made the guitar sound poor and highlighted the naivety of the presentation in my opinion - Anyway..... thats my two penneth. Come on Cort - love your guitar so just make videos that do justice to the product.

The piezo sound will be good for stage use to avoid feedback but it’ll sound like shit and not like what the guitar really sounds like. I have this system in a flamenco guitar and the mic part is genuinely excellent.
How not to try and sell a product. Truly cringeworthy….
I get the point of the guitar. Makes sense. But there’s a good chance you’ll be craving the wider neck once you get into it 😆

This guitar sounds terrible
When I search a nylon string guitar for modern music two are the features that I check: the width of the nut and the action. This guitar seems to have a 48 mm. nut that is excellent for electric players but what about the action?
