Thanks for the review sir. I was going to buy Cort Gold A6 bocote. Any reviews for it? Difficult to get all solids in India below 65k. I hsve heard great reviews about this guitar. How was the sound of the OC6? Though you have played it, you havent mentioned how it sounds? No mention of lows, mids, highs, overall tonality, as its a full solid guitar. I havae a fender CD 140 sce which cane with a very high action, almost 2.5 to 4 cm. But i got it set up by a luthier who sanded down the saddle. Now it plays and spunds fantastic. Does that make it a bad guitar??? Your review mentions that its a dud only because of the way its setup from the factory.
In the video I mentioned that there was excess Neck relief and the truss rod was maxed out hence it was a dud. Sanding the saddle changes action not Neck relief. I am sure not all the pieces are duds but this particular experience put me off getting one.
So refreshing to have an honest 'no punches pulled' review in the face of all the UA-cam guitar influencers who are sponsored or receive free kit and who post rave reviews about all the gear that is sent to them. Like you I was gassing for one of the Cort Gold models because of the high spec but for me playability is everything - if they come with a poor set-up and you have to spend 100s of £s/$s just to get them playable then they are clearly not so much of a bargain as the price point suggests!
Many guitar companies set the action high from the factory because some players may prefer it that way. You can reduce the action of a guitar but u cant increase the action if its set too low from factory
Thank you so much. Some guitars may be good but this one was a total dud with a non-functional truss rod and untreatable neck bow. Even the sanding of the saddle is doable as factories set the action at 3mm usually but this was unplayable tbh.
I was about buy Cort OC6 but I’m not going to buy now and Sir can you suggest me best acoustic Guitar under 50k for church playing purpose Thank you so much for saving me not to buy this
Glad to have been of help ☺️. The Sire A4 is a fantastic option with a solid top and back and the preamp sounds great. Else even a Kepma F series is worth a look.
@@PraShaantHnkOfficial I too am considering the PRS Angelus. It sounded much warmer and looked well built. I also was checking out the Ibanez AAD170CE, it sounds nice on videos. But couldn't get to play it myself.
i have Cort OC6 bocote and it come setup perfectly from the factory ,very high end guitar and the picup is amazing once you know to dial it
Glad you had a good experience with your purchase.

What's the difference between a6 bocote and OC6 bocote?
No clue
A6 is grand auditorium, is bigger than oc6 that is OM size

At 50k that is absolutely unacceptable
true that
What an absolute shame. Can't believe Cort releases such crap.
Neither could we, especially since they make other branded guitars so well.
