Whoever curates this collection is a genius. But let’s be honest, this bride was going to look amazing in anything. Entourage was very supportive and stylish. Gok and the Lancashire team are the best!
The dresses at the Lancaster shop are always so much prettier than the US location. I don't get it. I hope I'm able to find dresses like these here in the US

They are mostly from essense designs, you can find them in many many bridal shops in the UK.

I’m not entirely a fan of a lot of dresses in the New York version nor the London version so this was just a breath of fresh air...seeing a lot of unique and different designs and styles. Almost all of them are quite flattering. Atlanta is probably the worst but most of the UA-cam episodes are quite old apparently.

Looking at the mother's face, it doesn't seem like the dress was to her taste but seeing her baby girl in tears with joy, she gave her the approval she needed rather than breaking her confidence. Beautiful mom and entourage

Her sister and friend are both wonderful and sweet!! As well as her mom grandmother and mom-in-law to be. Great episode, Gox and his assistant are wonderful.

Michelle Stella that is correct, most of the US’ SYTTD episodes are older, while it is still an ongoing show the ones available on UA-cam are clips from older episodes. It could have something to do with trends from that region too

I'm so amazed at the 'princess' style dresses in this shop, they really are magical, not just big.
Gok is the only consultant EVER to bring something so similar, not changing anything that they liked.
UK and US versions would get her in a totally different dress after 90% good feedback.

I have never seen a dress more prettier than the first one. If I had the money, I'd buy it only to frame it. I don't know why some brides try the best dress and purchase the second best (in my opinion).

Her fiancé seems like a great guy, and I think he’ll cry when he sees her in that beautiful dress. I loved the first dress and the one she chose, and I want to add that her sister is so adorable and loving. She’s not the glamorous one in the family perhaps, but she doesn’t seem to have a jealous bone in her body. She gave caring, constructive feedback to her sister and seemed to know what suited her. Such a lovely family.

As an American, I have to agree with many of the comments. Some American people are shallow, entitled, unkind, love to hear the sound of their own chatter and so unappreciative. It’s refreshing to watch the UK and Ireland’s version of SYTTD. People are so sophisticated, charming, polite, honest in a constructively critical manner and so supportive of each other.
@@nonnie8388 Yes. I'm also American. American reality shows seems to be focused on conflict and competition, and no holds barred attitude. It's very hostile and I usually prefer the UK counterpart to shows.
I feel like one of the appeals of the British version is that a lot of Brits will say something neutral in the moment to save face like, “It’s not my favorite.” or “It’s alright.” but then in the interview they’ll be like, “It was awful! She looked like a cupcake covered in my granny’s tablecloth!” And it’s just such a 180 it’s so funny!
I wish they would show more of the dress head to toe shots and quit concentrating so much on the audience - the family. I’d like to see more of the dress.
I think the reason they do that because the room isn't big enough. The building looks like it could have been an apartment building at one point. And since renovated.

In all the Lancashire episodes there are only supportive entourages and Gok and his assistants make fabulous work! I have never seen a dress twice in the Lancashire episodes which is fantastic!

I just love how refined Gok, the brides, and the entourages are in Europe. So many of us in America are so rude and shallow toward each other. Not all, but I don't know if I've ever seen any of these shows highlight rudeness like ours do.

It's sad that american families do come across as disrespectful and rude to each other. Like, they do not like each other and, mostly, they are inconsiderate of each others feelings.
It really upsets me that sometimes they hurt the bride's feelings in what was supposed to be a beautiful day with your loved ones.

I've only ever been to the US twice but everybody I met was so SO polite. Kind and friendly people. For some reason the TV shows that are popular in the US have a very high drama quotient. So maybe that's what they amp up on purpose. Randy's episodes hardly ever have awful people. Atlanta seems to need drama to disguise how fugly their clothes are.

Requisite "I know it's not my wedding" BUT... I don't know...she looked gorgeous in all of them because SHE'S gorgeous. The ballgown shape looked best on her IMO, but with less bling or finish. The ballgown kinda looked like tinsel or foil-y to me lol.
