She can be glamorous without being harsh in the make-up and hair. With a softer look overall, the second dress would be youthful.
I agree with your comment. Lightening her hair would give Wendy a softer, more lovely, age appropriate look. The heavy makeup is also a bit much at 60 and toning it down a tad would make her face softer and less hard.
The dress Wendy chose looks lovely and is a bit glam without being tacky.

The second dress is the dress almost every bride on this show has worn, I've seen it at least 4 times, maybe more.
I personally loved dress #2. I'm glad she chose what she loved, though. She reminds me a bit of Elizabeth Taylor.
I disagree the second dress was much more flattering and pretty and traditional wedding this actually accentuates things a bright does not want to accentuate
The only thing I would change is to attach the lower shoulder straps to the upper ones, to make like a cap sleeve. I just think the gap between the straps is distracting. Otherwise, perfect dress for her.

More than fitting the body, the dress needs to fit the person! I loved dress #2, but I don't know the bride. The people that do agreed that #3 was best, which speaks volumes!
The second one was beautiful, but it aged her somehow. Maybe because her personality dimmed a little because she didn’t like it?

Yes I agree and a lighter touch with her makeup. Certain makeup in the wrong colors can actually age you and make you look older.
