there is something meditative about this kind of content. It's so satisfying to watch. Also I love seeing these Japanese guitars from brands I've never heard of
Those are some enormous lipstick-style pickups, and they have a wonderful chime to them! It's like an Earth Two Telecaster! I see that it's a 1970s Fresher Mercury, their version of the Fender Mustang.
I have an old 80’s Jedson guitar missing it’s bar style bridge like the original one for this guitar, I never thought about putting a different bridge on it, gonna try a rollermatic bridge on it, thanks for the great vid and idea
Freshers where made in Japan between 73 & 85. They copied various popular designs from les pauls, explorer's to strats, Ibanez and even a Brian may model. the mustang design was an early one. Most stayed in Japan but quite a few came to the UK. A well rated guitar for the time. They pioneered an on-board fx circuit which was pretty cool.
Your videos demonstrate that what often looks like serious damage and corrosion is more cosmetic, and can be cleaned with the proper tools, solutions, and patience. Though on this guitar, I think something may be wrong with the pots or pickups.
Hello Friend, and yet another brilliant restoration ! This guitar is absolutly georgeous. I was just trying to figure out whether this guitar is fitted with a Fender Jazz Master vibrato ? Thank you for this nice sharing ! See you next video...
Looks like an Ibanez built guitar, maybe under Hiroshima Gakki company... There is definitely styling on that that is very similar to the Roadstar series....
It probably would have been a good idea to level the frets, lubricate tuners, and do a proper setup. Is it properly intonated? That action is crazy high. You did a good job polishing by hand but I'm sure a palm buffer would have saved some sweat. Great job though
Another lovely piece of work surfaces from underneath ruin and it looks beautiful! I like watching you work on the obscure Japanese guitars I've never heard of, like this one.
I don't believe the fret board condition matches the lack of wear I see on the frets. I also don't see any signs of a re-fret. The dirt looks very unnatural. This just doesn't look right to me. Nice video, though.
Mr. Clean Magic Sponges (generic is same) work amazingly well to clean scuff marks and dirt from plastic and painted surfaces. I use the magic sponge and Liquid Gold. Also I use Resolve carpet spray cleaners, and dry foam sprays to restore vacuum cleaners and electronic organs. Combo organs and home organs.
Thank you again for this new video! I always wonder how do you manage to find such beaten up guitars! Great work and restorations, and I always enjoy your trials at the end, I love the alternative-post-punk-grind-metal stuff you play on these guitars!
It seems like I’m the odd one that thought it looked cool before the restoration, I totally would’ve rocked that, blues on a beat up guitar 😮💨, I know I’m weird.
I like how you carefully chose the proper discoloration to artificially make the guitar (LOOK) dirty . One that would come off of the guitar with minimal effort when you pretended to clean it .

It's a grime to treat your guitar like that. Glad you brought it back to it's former glory. Your videos are very relaxing.
I guess they weren't too worried about the intonation. Glad you fixed it. Great work!
I love how relaxing these videos are.
Agreed

Great work making it looks abandon, old and rusty.
Fresher. Deserves that name now.
Hm…a cigar bar guitar. I trust the electronics were tested and cleaned before all hardware and wood work. Nicely done restoration.

east bunk hill...
nice restoration and nice Amanda Woodward cover!!
Those are some enormous lipstick-style pickups, and they have a wonderful chime to them! It's like an Earth Two Telecaster! I see that it's a 1970s Fresher Mercury, their version of the Fender Mustang.
what an amazing transformation! i always look forward to your videos, the quality of the work is outstanding! well done 👍
I love the way you edit your video recordings, informative but essential and not boring. Great!!!
Just curious how many hours it actually took to do this job. Amazing craftsmanship.
si ne valeva la pena anche xche io modello èormai più che vintage very good job
Great job
Que buen y bonito trabajo. !!! Quedó preciosa y suena muy bien !!!
that guitar sounds great, great restoration btw.
Really enjoying your videos.....very talented......Thank you
Amazing transformation, great work to bring the guitar back to its former glory.
Awesome cleaning, she looks beautiful now!
The riff starting at 28:20 is really nice, is this from an actual song?
I dont know why but I found it funny when the ends of the strings shoot out at 0:58
A mustang clone! Where do you find these guitars in this shape? Great video! Your restorations are perfect!
WOW, what a mutant,I see elements of Strat,Tele,Mustang and Jazz/Jag. Great choice on bridge replacement. Fantastic job

I love your playing and the guitar looks and sounds amazing!
It certainly was "fresher" after the restoration.
Great colour too.
I have japanese guitars and basses from '60s, they have never been so dirty and never as new under the dirt
Aye: Helps the transformation from 'before' to 'after' but
'Re-freshed a Fresher'😉😉Add a neck shim to lower playing action maybe?
One of my all time favorite restorations, Well done!
That guitar looked like it smelled horrible! Hope you are wearing a mask when cleaning!! Great job as always!! ♥♥
the stains and grime look like it was tobacco/cigarette smoke... I'm pretty sure the guitar smelled of Tobacco....
Another top job, love seeing these older style guitars been given some love by you to bring them back to life, it sounds great too 👌👍
I have an old 80’s Jedson guitar missing it’s bar style bridge like the original one for this guitar, I never thought about putting a different bridge on it, gonna try a rollermatic bridge on it, thanks for the great vid and idea
My friend you need an ultrasonic cleaner for all the metal parts
Night and day!!! Turns out it's a beauty. Great job!
I love your influences when you play. Which are?
Simply amazing. 🎉
Good job .. with nice Faraquet's music on the trial
I love Faraquet..and this guitar
Back in the 1970's and 1980's every smoked. It was almost sadly normal.
Amanda Woodward now! Nice playing. That guitar sounds great too.
My friend, you could really use an ultrasonic cleaner...
It really is “FRESHER” now!!😊🎉
Cool awesome 🎸 cibson 🎸 thankyou for sharing 🎸❤️. from new Zealand 🌏
This was sitting in or around a kitchen, wasn't it? Makes we want to go and clean my guitars again and I just did that last week! Excellent work!
I guess they ended up making some tone-katsu over the years
Mustangs are my favorite electric guitar. I have a particular interest in clone models. Wish I knew more about this brand. Awesome restoration video

A well rated guitar for the time.

Why not level and recrown the frets as well? You do so well with the restoring it should be able to play as good as it looks.
Very nice work man! Interesting guitar as well. It's like a Stratocaster, Telecaster, Mustang and Jazzmaster/Jaguar combined in one! ❤
It's just a mustang clone lol never heard of a fresher though. Fender version of a chibson I guess
Liked the demo!
Can you write the brand of the polish, because perhaps I can find de equivalent in America
Great work!

Very satisfying. Very nice. And this guitar is lovely.
Looks like an Ibanez built guitar, maybe under Hiroshima Gakki company...

Very nice wall hanger
What an amazing transformation

I'd enjoy these much more if they were real.
That chainsmoking fry cook took terrible care of his guitar.
Nice work! Nice math rock sounding tune as well 👍👊

Amazing job! Congratulations! I thought that the guitar was golden, but then the cream color appeared!😅
now it's really Fresher
I don't believe the fret board condition matches the lack of wear I see on the frets. I also don't see any signs of a re-fret. The dirt looks very unnatural. This just doesn't look right to me. Nice video, though.
Looks like a guitar that sat around in a garage or basement for years or a very dirty house with heavy smokers.
A few I have restored looked the same.
I have a set of those knobs on my desk right now.

Essa ficou linda! Muito bom!

sounds like math rock/midwest emo to me
@@brodyh2895 emo for sure, the guy has a reharsal room/studio, surely he buys instruments there
Toujours un travail impressionnant, bravo
Excellent, great job in this guitar!!!!
Wonderful
I thought that this was a jass/blues guitar it doesn't need to have overdrive pedals attached to it.
the fresher has been refreshed
15 year old me: Hey those strings are still good🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
nice faraquet cover at the end!
Great video! Your restorations are perfect!
NONE FINER...WONDERFUL...
While some dudes are paying thousands of dollars to make their brand new guitars look old, this guy makes old guitars look brand new!
Where do you find these guitars
does this guitar dont have a truss rod?
It seems like I’m the odd one that thought it looked cool before the restoration, I totally would’ve rocked that, blues on a beat up guitar 😮💨, I know I’m weird.
"The funk of 40,000 years"....... (The late Vincent Price)
Literally looks like a brand new guitar !!! Awesome !! 🥰🥰🎸👌
I like how you carefully chose the proper discoloration to artificially make the guitar (LOOK) dirty . One that would come off of the guitar with minimal effort when you pretended to clean it .
Indeed, this whole vid is nonsense.
Did your mother leave you to cry in your pram?
And now it's worth twice as much.
Teisco. I tried to make my own Teisco mount. Didn't work well. I am not a welder.
