i think it’s just a manners thing that you wait for guest to come to eat it’s considered rude if you eat your food before people come. The “rule” applies at restaurants too as a sever i’ve seen it happen multiple times if you ate before guest the guest would say something slick like “oh someone must’ve been hungry” or the “you couldn’t wait!!?” 😭. I do the same rule as well even at home i wont start eating until they start eating i’ve even told people if i’m sleep wake me up so we can eat together, i get upset if people eat without me i have no idea where i got that from bc that was never a rule growing up that’s just me so i completely understand why she waited for him i would’ve too.

I’m so pleased that this is her actual voice. So many Bridgeton/Queen Charlotte characters have a completely different voice. Her voice is so unique and calming.

The magic of acting! But a lot of times when actors are doing certain voices or certain characters, they will be coached to sound different to be more like what the producers and writers expect that character to sound like. But it is a nice Easter egg when they use their real voice
