About Big Slick at Home
Although Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner won't return to bat, bowl and perform across Kansas City until summer 2021, their dedication continues. Because pediatric cancer doesn’t take a year off, the Big Slick team is supporting Children’s Mercy patients, families and staff through an online fundraising campaign called "Big Slick at Home."
This event officially kicks off Friday, June 5th, and runs through Sunday, June 14th. Daily content will air on UA-cam Live and FaceBook Live at 7pm central featuring unique throwback content. The content will subsequently be shared across all Big Slick social media channels. Each video will be introduced by Rob, Paul, Jason, Eric or David as they recount their favorite Big Slick memories over the past 10 years.
You can support the kids, families and staff at Children's Mercy too; thanks to a generous donor, every dollar donated bigslickkc.org between June 5-14 will be matched, meaning each contribution goes twice as far to give more kids hope and answers! Additionally, everyone who donates at least $50 will be gifted with a special "Big Slick at Home" t-shirt.
Visit bigslickkc.org to learn more, donate and get your #BigSlickAtHome t-shirt from June 5th-14th.
Thank you for your support!
I don't know HOW I can hear the same joke so many times and still CRY from laughing so hard.
This guy is really on top of his game.
I adore that guy, I have watched many of his routines over and over again and never press pass, he pops up in my view, I am never going to say, nope, saw it before. Thanks for sharing this, made me so happy.
I just discovered Nathan yesterday. Now I'm doing a deep dive.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIS COMEDY👍✨🏆✨❣️
Heard the jokes before and still couldn’t stop laughing, love him ❤😂😂😂😂😂
I have just recently discovered Nate. I can't believe it took this long. His SNL episode was probably the best show in a long time.
I loved the George Washington bit, “ We will choose our own systems of weights and measures.”
The George Washington bit was hilarious.
He was an assume General George Washington
9th
@@joypalos474 One of the funniest skits IN DECADES for SNL, imo. And I've watching since the premier of the show 😂
“It takes ten minutes for people to quit filming us with their phones”. 😂😂😂
Always hilarious! Clean comedy. I love Nate!!!! Funniest comedian today!!!!
I absolutely agree with everything you said!
I hadnt heard of nate before he hosted snl but since then I Think I've seen everything he's got on UA-cam.
Absolutely stone cold hilarious 😂 😅😅😂😂
Nate is the only comedian who's older bits can make me laugh every time, and who's newer bits make me almost cry laughing!
Yeah, he’s amazing
Absolutely. %100
Totally agree
Same for me, I'm also fron Tennessee (about 50 miles from where he is from in Nashville) and his jokes about his home are spot on perfect.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?
I somehow forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
You guys will all be working out side someday… Funniest line ever
He's killin' it!!! SO good!!
Been on Nate for years. Seen him live twice. He's in my top 10.
You guys in the U.S. are soo lucky to have this guy. We have our treasure too but he would do well in London.
Nate's delivery and timing is in the top 3 greatest, in my book. The situations he describes are comedy gold. How did he slide under the radar for so many years?
My wife & kids turned me on to him this past October. I can't believe I hadn't heard of him the past 10-12 years. He's awesome and has become my favorite [living] comedian in a few short months. (RIP to Mitch Hedberg & John Pinette).
Who are your other top faves? I love comedy!
Dave Chappelle and Brian Regan come to the top of my list. @@Fishy-arteest
Aaand...Soooo....
effortless...when youre born to do something it shows...
My husband and I fought once. After he wrecked my car. That was over 20 years ago. I gave him the silent treatment for 16 hours. Sixteen hours. I couldn't even sleep that night, I was so silent. When Thomas finally woke up the next morning, it became obvious to me that he had absolutely no idea I had been giving him the silent treatment at all. None whatsoever. He probably enjoyed the silence, in fact. So we haven't really fought since. I certainly never attempted the silent treatment, again.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
You Nate are tooooooooooo funny love ❤️ you ! Your on my bucket list of I wish I could hang one day with you if only for 15 mins ( well that’s a lie ) I wish I had a whole day with you and your family just as real to real people ♥️ you just crack me up! God be with you and your family ♥️and all those who are special to you ♥️ keep it going!!!!🤣
I’ve heard the McDonalds bit at least 15 times. I laugh hysterically every time I listen to it. Nate is gold.
Love Nate, but I am amazed that he and other comedians rehash the same jokes over and over and over. It's like, once they make it, they rest on their laurels and make very little effort to bring new material.
The part about the guy warming his hands in the fryer puts me over the edge. Good stuff.
@@ricknofzinger idk… you could be right, but I’ve always felt like sometimes they have jokes that they know are good, so they tell them to multiple crowds Bc they are still unknown and can get away with it. But then they get big and people dig up all these old videos making it look like they’re just being lazy.
@@BeStupidWithIntent No. Watch Nate's specials on Netflix. Same old jokes. Great jokes, but old. He is not the only one. I will never pay to see a comedian's show, because I know every joke he/she will tell. Nate is my favorite, though.
@@ricknofzinger just saw him live. 95% new material. Definitely makes new material you just aren’t seeing the new stuff as if comedians leak too much, they lose a point to see them live.
So genius to make humor from every day events of no consequence.
All I can say after watching this is if I was on a stage telling jokes and one person was behind me in frame I would want it to be Zachary Levi
Great laugh he's having such a great time hahaha
I discovered him on the show Chuck. Absolutely love that show.
I’m grateful that my youngest son introduced me to your work!!!👏😻👏😻👏😻
This stage energy looks like hell for a comic. They're all acting like it's a UFC bout or something. Nate, the consummate professional, kills despite all the unnecessary circus bullshit around him up there! Fuck yeah. Really impressive.
I wrote the same, but you said it so much better.
I love that this obviously brilliant man writes hilarious bits about being stupid. "I don't think I could prove I'm from the future." Saw him Philadelphia a few weeks ago and he was amazing!
He absolutely RULES!!!
There shouldn't be anybody behind a comedian on stage.
Right!! How rude and distracting!!!
Agree, very distracting
Now I can't stop looking at the guy
That’s Zachary Levi!
Especially that guy lmao
2:00 Nate comes to the stage. Seems not to be the easiest venue to work, but he pulls it off with class. Love you, Nate.
I would, and often, do, listen to him on loop🥰
“Cook is in the back cracking his neck got his fist in the fryer doesn’t even notice it just warming up his hands”!!!😳😂🤣 Hilarious bit!!! This guy is the first legitimate super star to come along in a long long time!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I loved the guy’s laugh behind him!! ❤️
I believe that guy behind him is Zachary Levi. He was in the series Chuck.
"Olivia?"… About word-for-word from his special, yet still so well told. All of his routine, a slow burn but relentless.
That joke is gold.
Just in the small amount of time that I have been watching Nate, he has brought so much joy to my life!!! Man, he takes the worries away & your left there sitting with a big, dumb smile on your face (lOl, jello pudding face 😆) going over everything you just heard, then laugh again...he's that funny!!! 👍👍
Yes!! He makes me so happy to watch in my worst times!!!
Much props to Nate. As a professional singer one of the worst venues is one where people can get up and move around and typical humans .... you’d think they would say, ” let’s just stay out til he’s done”. I got so sick of seeing people walking around him.
He has the kind of comedy you shut up and listen.
He handled it well. This Venue SUUUUCCCKKKSSS! Who thought of this? They need to be fired.
Notice it is Zac Levi behind him
i can’t believe how i still can laugh at all his same jokes he’s deliver is so good
He said he doesn't write his jokes, so his delivery is always subtly different, so the joke might be the same, but the whole package is a bit different and new every time he tells the joke.
I LOVE the guy laughing at 7:08 that is just losing his mind. This is the funniest thing he's ever seen and I'm living for it.
Hilarious! 🤣🤣
His bit about going back in time and not being able to prove he's from the future is so so funny to me.
And expects people from the past to name presidents (they haven't even had yet, mind you) so he can try guess guess who's up next.
😆
The best is Zachary Levi in the background laughing
He was plastered
Is it....is it the best!
I was like is that Shazam?! LOL
@@mrjemenai nah, that's chuck
Or the worst
I just recently discovered this man. He is funny
I know I'm late to the party, but this really helped lighten my spirits today.
mine too! :-)
I just recently discovered Nate Bargatze's stand-up comedy and I am so glad I did! I appreciate the fact that his humor is family-friendly, clean, and situations you can really relate to. He's coming to Bellingham, WA in May and the venue is almost full. I'm definitely going to be one of the ones in the audience that day! :) Thank you Nate!
Come to England!!!!!!
Nate kills me...I love how he delivers. I can't wait for his show in my home town this summer. 😁
I love Nate’s energy, timing and delivery. A true pro.
I love his energy and down to earth persona. Can't wait to see him this weekend in Los Angeles! ❤
2:05 start
My man 🤘🏼
Good on U
Bruh ...
Nate is freaking hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So so great to hear him with a real audience and WITHOUT a laugh track (like Netflix adds).
The best part of performing is where the mc keeps his mic on and laughs into it so everyone knows he still exists.
Here's what's amazing - that joke was fully played out at 5:31 yet Nate went on and turned out a completely additional, fabulous, hilarious joke on top of one that most comedians would have been finished with. Amazing, truly amazing.
He is genius! Such good comedy about real life situations.
The community college stuff is so brilliant. The $40 student loan LOL
Paid in cash. Hahaha
"Again?! Again with this?" 🤣
his dad is right he is not a comedian he is just love telling story in his own way the way Nate says it - it is so funny and I have been watching him all the time
DONT WALK ME! that’s my thing. Unreal.
Well done!
Nate is one of the best out there.
Listening to this while standing in line at TJ Max I started laughing so hard I made a spectacle of myself. Had to pull the earplugs as he was sliding into home plate or I might have been kicked out. Hahah.
As for people walking behind him at times Nate just vaporized them. My focus was 100% on Nate ~he’s that good!😅🤣😂
Awwwwhhhh, “…just exhausted, & over baseball. 😣 😩 😢 ⚾️ “ 😂😂
Eric. You are Big and Beautiful. And I love you. Wendy👑🇨🇦🐼🐼🐼💋💋
What a weird venue/stage lol Nate still crushed tho
It was for a charity event in KC hosted by Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis (among others)
I recently discovered Nate, and he is the funniest!!😂😂😂 He needs his own sitcom!!!
my favorite comedian for a long while now
He’s paid his dues big time. Lot of people don’t know his grind.
I initially read dues as dudes, and was very confused. Anyways, agreed. He's taken no short cuts in his career
Nate is SOOOO hilarious!!!
THE BEST!🤣
The baseball bit gets me every time. Fantastic
explain the baseball joke I don't know baseball
@@delronmackay1473 In baseball, the pitcher is supposed to throw the ball in what's called the "strike zone" to give the batter a chance to hit it. The batter wants to try to hit the ball so that he can advance onto the bases and give his teammate a chance at bat behind him. If the batter misses 3 times when the ball is in the strike zone, he strikes out and loses the opportunity to help his team score.
If the pitcher throws the ball too high or too low (outside the strike zone), the umpire (referee) calls "ball" instead of "strike" and it doesn't count towards striking out the batter. If 4 pitches are outside the strike zone for the same batter, the batter gets to walk to first base automatically without hitting the ball to advance. This is good for the batter's team because they have the opportunity to keep making attempts to gain points.
The story is funny because he tells it in the same order that he experienced it, where it's only at the end that you realize he made a mistake that turns the whole exciting situation very mundane. He mistakenly walked to 1st base when there had only been 3 balls thrown - one fewer than what was needed to earn the right to walk - and everyone else's confusion caused him to decide to start running all the way around the bases in a heroic attempt to score. It didn't count and he was made to try one more time - and, of course, he immediately strikes out on the next throw.
@@freddybenelli9100 Amazing description. We don't realize how complex the sports we grow up with can be until they're explained out like that, but this was an excellent explanation. I re-watched it pretending not to know any rules of baseball and of course it didn't make any sense then 😂
I can’t stop watching the reactions of the guy behind him 😂
That’s Zachary Levi from the show Chuck.
He seems over-exaggerated imo, like calm down bud 😂
Dude...the guy with the loud laugh is cracking me up 😂.
McDonald dude warming his hand on the fryer as he gets ready to fight. That sent me to the floor.
Why doesn’t he have his own tonight talk show???? 😂😂he’s amazingly relatable ❤
Nate is the man. Can’t stop laughing. Love him!!!!
So funny. No matter how many times I watch a certain episode I still laugh so hard. When life gets rough my Go To is Nate. 😅
Hey that was Shazam behind him. Zachary Levi 🥰
Totally true ! Distracting ! 😮
Saw Nate last night last night in Wilmington. Killed it. Awesome show
Im in tears
I just noticed Zachary Levi in the background!!! NICE!!
That was great!
Best line from the McDonald's burger joke......"The guy's got his fist in the fryer.......DOESN'T EVEN KNOW IT.....just warmin' up his hands!!! 😆😄😃😀😁❤♥❤♥❤
Nuts…I haven’t seen Sixth Sense. I wanted to watch it.
😅
How can he even focus on talking with all those people walking around him- why so many people near him on stage-
that baseball joke was hilarious.
this guy cracks me up
There's something very strange and distracting about a bunch of people sitting on stage laughing at the back of Nate's head.
It's like a quick greatest hits of Nate.
“Even if you get shot, it’s your fault” 😅
Nate is the best!!!!
amazon special is gold . spit my coffee out
I figured out his comedy, it's the same as road musicians. We'd keep stupid hours which put us with weird people and we'd notice stuff that ain't normal while we just wanted some breakfast at 3am.
My wife gives me the silent treatment when she's mad at me so I decided to do the same right back at her just to show her what it's like. We haven't spoken to each other in 5 months.
I'm balling! So f%_-ing funny! My favorite comedian right now
Just found out about your channel because of him! Always have loved you!
This friend'd be the guy I'd call if I had to move a dead horse but.
Silent treatment is something you're born with, something inside you, its in Nate (innate). 🥁🥁
🤪🤪
In-Nate...Keep your day job! LOL! Dad joke. 💯
Nate Bargatze = comedy genius!
I love Nate!!!
Love ❤️ love ❤️ love Nate!!!!
This guy is awesome.
Never introduce a comedian, no matter how good, as someone who is so good that the last people to see him couldn’t wait to give him a standing ovation
Only comedian I know who doesnt use a single swear word in his whole performance.
Also Seinfeld :)
There's an entire UA-cam channel dedicated to that (Dry Bar). I forget his name, but the guy whose special is named something like "Why Bike Locks Should be Illegal" was really really good. I think his name had a Q in it?
Kellen Erskine
Ray Romano, Jim Gaffigen and Jerry Seinfeld are some you may have heard of
Brian Regan. Is hilarious and doesn't swear.
Thats ok, after my ex & i divorced i had to go to my, now 15yo son's games & keep everyone updated on the Facebook. For at least 3 seasons i would get on there and tell everyone how badass my kids was. I would be like "Tiny yet Mighty! Kam got 4 home runs today'. He was literally getting-7 home runs in a day. I literally thought anytime a kid scored it was a home run. Nobody said shit to me...until the day someone did! 🤦🏼♀️😭
Love nate he's hilarious
so funny to watch the guy behind Nate.
