Great Reaction. 4:41, Freddie has a Yellow one, a White one with Red Belts, a fully White one, a Red One and maybe a Black one of these Jackets. 6:15 Roger wrote it. Roger also has his own Version of the song which btw was the Version used for The Highlander Movie. Roger was in Vacation or something and Freddie looked at the Song and had an Idea of how to Change it. Freddie then worked on it and when Roger came back Freddie showed him his Version and Roger thought it was Great. Then they used Freddie's Version for the Final Album (the Version you hear them performing here). You can still listen to Roger's Version though. It's not like it is hidden somewhere. 6:53 In the Studio Version in this Part Roger had brought his Girl Voice back after years and did a Low High note saying ''doneeee'' but live he would go even lower so it just sounds like normal Roger. I have a fact that no one can give you because it is really unknown. There is a Cartoon from I think 2009 or something, The Cartoons name is A Kind Of Magic. I watched it as a kid and it is pretty cool. The Intro is literally a remade Pop Cover Version for Kids of Queen's song A Kind Of Magic. It has the Same Bass line, the same Guitar solo and of course the ''it's a kind of magic''. I was so blown away when I found that out. So basically the whole Cartoon is just inspired by a Queen song (and Album). If you want to see the intro of the cartoon here you go: ua-cam.com/video/PEQBz9LxU_Y/v-deo.html . Yea it's literally a kids show, I wouldn't watch it nowadays anymore. I don't know what else to say. Has Hank seen I Want It All yet? If not then that's what I request for both of you to see.
Wonderful performance of this song! He was so full of self confidence on stage, but he was described as very shy in private. Brother-in-law-Hank, if you once want to dip into Freddie‘s opera album from 1987 with Montserrat Caballe, I‘d recommend to start with the song „How can I go on“, it‘s simple, has most beautiful voices and pure emotions. The other songs are also very beautiful, but partly they sound a bit overladen and „operatic“ at the first listen.
If Hank thinks that was a long guitar solo from Brian, you should both listen to Brighton rock, from the live killers album, it's a great recording, but audio only,no visuals 👍👍
They better react to another performance of Brighton Rock, the version from Live Killers is a patchwork from many shows and is overdubbed. There is a great analysis about Live Killers on queenlive.ca, that goes into as much detail as possible. For a version to react to I recommend Vancouver 1978. Great reaction! It is always nice when you get to show Hank some songs. You should show him Now I Am Here at Wembley 1986 ua-cam.com/video/-iCY-noGbas/v-deo.html. He will know the song, but the Wembley performance of the song is amazing! Very different from the 70's. Freddie knew he was sick at the time. Apparently it was quite a challenge for him to perform, and the stage was massive. Queen's last concert was at Knebworth 1986 a few months after this concert, after the show Freddie told the rest of the band that he simply couldn't do it anymore.
Ohhh Freddie had the HIV here he had have it from -82 so for 4 years. In -87 he get full blowing AIDS 🥺😢 this was the last live performance he/they had. You now he died in -91......the worst ever! Thanks for sharing wonderful song 🎶♾
He knew he was sick . He found out in 86. But whybarebyoubsayingbjebcoukdnstilk sing . He sang out to 2 months before his death and sang opera 2 years before his death
Sorry but you are mistaken, don't take the movie as canon, there is much in the film that is wrong, used for dramatic effect and often the time line was off.. Freddie was diagnosed in 1987 a year after this concert, Live Aid was 1981.
@@SeviNoHeart thank you...that film is full of inaccuracies..I don’t know how Brian May and Roger Taylor signed off on it...not like they needed the money...egos on display
Queen has always been a kind of magic
The bass on this song has always been my favorite
Mine too, John kills it.
Great reaction, I have always loved this song.
Yes Rog wrote this one. There is a line in the move “a kind of magic”. And then Freddie tweeked it. Ultimately all their songs were collaborative.
The real magic is FREDDIE MERCURY's voice !
Please show him I Want it All or The Miracle :)
I think it's already done
Damn I miss that peacock strut
Saturday’s performance was so much better the way it was filmed etc, The Saturday concert is better all round. Roger wrote this.

Hank, Roger wrote it. but Freddie changed it up
I love your channel 💗💗. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks Kay 🤗
Roger Taylor , the drummer, wrote the song
There was no autotune or anything, yes they used stage lighting and smoke effects but the vocals etc was 100% natural.
Roger wrote this song

That’s what I heard 🤗

He got diagnosed with HIV just before he did Live Aid as shown in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie
