As a womam who plays rugby myself this video is so accurate . Im by no means small in hight or weight and in the last match i played for the 2v with my local team i was lifted clean off my feet! my reaction was to shout... i can fly 😂.

Portia Woodman was in a few of those clips playing for the Black Ferns, New Zealand's national women's rugby team. A sensational player known as the Kaikohe Express. (Kaikohe is the town she grew up in.)
These Women don't mess around, I've seen much more brutal stuff, some of the six nations women's rugby is great to watch & like the men they don't wear padding
I’ve always thought that Rugby is much more athletic, much more demanding of stamina, and faster moving than American football. I wish it would take off here in the US. And notice….no protective gear.

A while back, the rugbly club I played with had both a mens and womens team. The coaches wanted the two to play against each other for fun. The club board wouldn't let it happen but the two team captains got together and instead shuffled everyone into two coed teams and THEY played against each other in the training sessions.
There is NO difference in intensity or skill between the genders of rugby players. The guys tend to outMASS the gals in equivalent field position, but without the skill level, bulk means very little. In those coed games I got put firmly on my ass by more than one woman who I outmassed by a dozen kilos or so. Doesn't matter how big and strong you are, they get the tackle technique right and down you go.
As a winger, I saw most of this when looking at Fiona, my opposite number on the women's team. Because we played the same position we almost never ended up on the same side whern the shuffle to pick the coed teams happened. Damn, but that woman was fast. And she could change direction on a sixpence too. Tiny, wiry and deceptively strong for her size, she was one of the most skilled players I've ever faced across the field. In technique and sheer ability in the game, she was better than I was - no question - and I wasn't a poor player! To stop her, you had to outTHINK her, because there was no way in Hades you were going to outRUN her.

In that video a girl called Naya Tapper was featured, she was in a white uniform and all those girls in white - all American girls and what you looked at in this video was mostly bash and barge but there is more to it, these girls have real skill. Thanks for this video, best wishes from Australia

I dont watch womens sports usually, but i will watch womens rugby, becuase they use a different skill set in some areas it can be a bit faster and more tactical than the mens game, its worth a watch.

Javilet was her name. And there's a couple of american black girls scoring tries too. The USA women are top 10 in the world.

A few of my friends have played rugby at school or college level. And carried the skills on after. My best friend was mugged by a bit with a knife when her baby was in the buggy. She put her shoulder down and charged, then legged it. Turned out the guy broke his face. Oops!
my cousins wife used to play womens rugby and they are badd ass women and if they won after the match it was a free for all down the local pub even tough men gave them a wide birth yaa didnt wanna mess with any of them but great women
Remember these girls get clattered and then get straight up and keep playing. See how the first English girl in white was rocked into touch, just threw the ball away and got on with the game. The 15 in a Rugby Union side play the full 80 minutes (with some subs for injuries) same as in men's rugby unlike in NFL.
The other thing to note is how they actually tackle to stop the opposing player. IMHO I think most NFL players could learn a lesson from how rugby players actually tackle and stop players.
Actually she did not. Sadly she was carried off with a knee issue and missed most of the next season

couple of girls at my club play for the Dutch womens team, wouldn't want to face them in an actual match, class players each and everyone of them, and ff-ing physical as well!
What I noticed from the start is they had no protection, esp headgear on. Wonder how many concussions some had. It's like full football war, lol.
It's a sport where stripes aren't given out, they're fought for and I appreciate that.

I beg too differ. So long as you tackle around the hips, or the waist .Then that’s legal. You can’t tackle round the head or neck or drop someone on the head.
I liked to tackle players a fraction to late....some 3rd team mentality I guess😂

I've been watching rugby for over 4 decades. the championship match of the last Women's Rugby World Cup was probably the best championship match I've ever seen. They take the game seriously.
The hair pull was played in very slow motion. Made it look worse than it was.
She started out grabbing some jersey that just happened to have some hair on it then directions changed and she lost the jersey but the hair was still there. takes a second to realize what is in your hand.

Y'all should react to more women's sports, it's actually really good if you're open minded and get to know the players and sport. They're alot of great players and they don't get the credit that they deserve. I love women's sports and watch it faithfully. And you mentioned the wnba and nba. In women's college basketball there's this player that i think y'all would like, her name is Caitlin Clark! She's very exciting player to watch and if you're interested in that then i think y'all would enjoy watching her. Also, you mentioned women's mma there's alot of great fighters you can react to like Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, Kayla Harris etc. Great reaction and the more you watch it the more you'll probably like it.
