They seem stock lightning's are fords virsion of a truck that is a drag car and mustang is a mustang u think a lighning that slow has mods what wrong wit u lol lighnings with mods do 6 seconds on dragstrip at 200 mph

@The Negus you can come pretty close if you can drive. Close enough the difference is negligible I've seen it quite a few times over the years manuals going door to door with equally capable automatics without losing an inch on shifts you'd be surprised how much the driver mod can effect the performance of a manual trans.

Mustang is a 06 and lightning is 99 both have a couple of mods

GT would be faster if you let the auto do the shifting, you lose time when you try and shift yourself with the 5r55
The auto would make like 10-15 less power at the wheels and you can shift a manual just as fast as those old autos do.
