I did not have a clothing iron- so instead you could go even simpler and use a stove-top pan!!! Just put a bit of water into the pan and heat the water until it’s boiling and use the bottom of the hot pan the same exact way you use the clothing iron in this video!!! I hope this helps! You may even be able to use a flat iron on medium-low heat if you cover your document/card you wish to laminate between two pieces of white paper and slowly swipe it through the flat iron!!!
That's what I started doing! I think it won't be quite as hot as a laminating machine or iron, because the water has most of the thermal capacity. I haven't had any damage just leaving it standing. I used kitchen towel and with that, it took a while to fully melt it, just passing it over wasn't enough. I use a cork coaster to avoid it cooling down too fast. I'll try with paper, next! I guess there's a point where the outer surface of the film is hot enough to stick, as well, that's why it needs to be separated a bit. But I wonder what's the thinnest you could use, to get the fastest lamination.

If You need a visual, google “laminating with clear contact paper”. Contact paper is used for things like lining drawers and shelves , to keep them clean and You replace it when it becomes dirty or old and it comes in many colors including clear, You can use the marble print and put it on your counter or desk, all over and then use either spray clear paint sealer, epoxy, shellack or whatever sealant You like, epoxy is the most permanent
Shoot! I don’t have an iron either... just a fabric steamer. My flat iron might work... that would get both sides at once. But maybe hard to hold. I’ll just go to fedex office. Good video though.
you can use a needle to pop one bubble open then use a credit card or similar plastic tool to swipe the remaining bubbles towards the open hole. if you need it sealed again just use the same needle and add a tiny amount of clear glue so that the glue forms a little blob around the needle's tip. Now try to slowly poke the same hole with the tip and that should seal it
It's good if you have someone to help you. You need to set the heat gun to a low temperature (try on the bare laminating foil a few times to find the right temp) then work in horizontal lines while your partner roles a kitchen roller from the opposite site aplying the presure while you heat it line by line. It's not as easy as a clothes iron but for small id cards and name tags it works.

You can do this with parchment/baking paper as well. I made a couple protected trading cards with this method a while ago.

hi i have problem, my iron laminating is success but why theres some bubble.
