    I was making home made stickers and my BF was sad because he didn’t want them to get damaged. I can’t wait to give this a try.

    Question: along the 4 edges when you cut to separate the words away from each other do you experience any peeling? ie...where u cut, does the laminate stay affixed to the paper?
    There are free print-n-play games on the internet n the playing pieces range from 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" squares....some two sided. I'll be printing on sticky photo paper, laminating the printed side n sticking to cardboard die cut blank counters. Lots of scissor work. Think I'll get a paper cutter too.
    Thanks for the vid.... I'm looking for confidence building before I start.

    BRILLIANT! I am looking to laminate BOOKMARKS on one side (the back), to give them some rigidity, but allow for COLORING on the front. This should work perfectly!! Thank you!

    Hey, I had a plan to make a circular image in photoshop and then fill up a whole page with the logo and then laminate just one side of the paper after I print it so I could cut them out and glue them to what I need to. My question is, would this work if I cut the circles out? Is the laminate like shrink wrap stuff and will it attach to the entire paper instead of just sealing the edges?

    Great tip, thank you! Do you find the laminate peels away from the paper given that you trim the edges off? That would be one thing I'd be concerned about. Thank you!

    Hi. I tried laminating my sheets and it is very thin. She just folded it :( any other tips to make it durable? Is a boardpaper under laminate sheet going to be accepted by machine

      +Gargee Bhandare Wadhwani Hi Gargee!! :) Yes I have noticed that sometimes I don't want really sturdy lamination so I will be using this single sided more often.

    I was wondering how one could achieve a one sided laminate without investing in a large expensive roll laminator. How simple, It didn't occur to me to put two sheets back to back in a laminate pouch.

      A wallet size laminating sheet? I don't know, it depends on your laminator I guess. Sorry, I haven't tried that so I wouldn't know.

    • @hikirari205

      Hi, what did u use for laminating? Cold? Or hot? And also did the laminating film sticks to the paper?

    • @scoobin336
      @scoobin336 4 роки тому +1

      @@hikirari205 hiya! I used hot lamination with this method and it worked well. I think the key is to have both of the pages aligned so there is none of the backside of either pages visible from the other side. If the paper has for example one sticker already cut from the sheet or one is shorter than the other, slide in a normal piece of paper you don't mind sacrificing so the laminate does not stick to either side. The cold laminate I use comes in single sheets and because of that I can just do one sticker sheet at a time and I don't need to use this method. I've tried this with gloss laminate and matte laminate and both worked. One thing I will say is that it seemed that the hot laminates do not like vinyl sticker paper. It seems so far that only cold laminate works well with vinyl, but that may be a fault on my part since I have only tried two types of vinyl. I will keep experimenting and see if I can find a laminate that works well with vinyl. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions

    • @scoobin336
      @scoobin336 4 роки тому +1

      @@hikirari205 oh and the paper I used was a papery adhesive, I tried a few from eBay and one was good for the brighter colours, but the paper that has been the best with stickyness as a factor has been from a brand called quirkii. It has a deer on the front and "stick to the best my dear" in a speech bubble. It is matte adhesive paper 200gsm

    Jajaja me hiciste reir con tu aventura. Pobre Ivanna :-). Pero ñas flashcards te seran de mucha utilidad :-). Y muy buena la idea de ahorrar en laminating sheets. Pero cuanto cuesta un paquete alla? Te cuento que aca no es muy caro. Cuesta 1€ que es casi como $us 1 por un paquete de 50

      +Judith Escalier Hola Judith!! Y bueno, es mejor tomarse las cosas con humor a veces, para no llorar!! jajaja como dice el dicho ''si la vida te tira limones hazte una limonada''??? (algo así, no soy muy buena para los dichos jeje)
      Te cuento que en las tiendas, las hojas de laminar son caras, 10 hojas por $8 mas o menos. Pero estas las compro en Amazon.com, me vienen 100 por $13, mucho más barato! Pero de igual manera trato de economizar, no quiero acostumbrarme a andar laminando todo.
      Saludos y gracias por ver, Judith! :)
