My cousin is a hard-core jeep freak, we ran around in one of those growing up, those things are tanks for sure, look forward to seeing you guys bring it back to life, awesome rolling chassis, great start guys! 💯👍💪
Did you buy this near Cresson, PA? I think I put a deposit on this jeep in 2002 and never went back to pick it up hahaha. I had one of the first lifted XJs back then and thought I was ready to restore a classic but I never got back up to pick it up lol. Being a dumb kid, hope it turns out great
Did anyone get the price right? I’m guessing $400. On another note, I was led to believe that that emblem with the S doesn’t make it a chief. It would literally say on the side “Cherokee Chief”. Is there anything else that makes it a chief?
Someone did! We paid $250 for it haha. To be honest I’m not 100% sure what the S stands for as I’ve heard multiple things haha. I know for a fact it is a Cherokee Chief
I have a '76 Cheif "S". My understanding is that the S means it's a wide body. They made Cheifs that were standard body, like the Wagoneers. The wide body Cheifs have the fender flares and have wider (longer) axles.
I have a '76 Cherokee Cheif "S". The S means it's a "Sport" package which has the little rear view door mirrors, which are a pain to see through, the wide body with fender flares and longer axles, and prob some other features... They made Cherokees with the narrow body too like the Wagoneer style which are not as good looking and are not "Sport".
Let’s see who will get the purchase price correct!!
Woo hoo more content 👏

Thanks! Nice meeting you guys as well! Looking forward to watching your videos!
The “Krute” looks so BA chilling in the background in its truck form.
I love the way it looks with nothing on it! Now if I can keep it that way haha
$2700! Can’t wait to see it done. Definitely needs a 6.0 or 5.3 :)
We agree! Both would be awesome. We talked about a turbo too
I've always wanted a chief
Same! I love the body style
Just found this build series but seems like it dwindled. Anymore videos of this coming out?
This is the exact colour of the chief I grew up in out on the coast! Dads was a 77. What year is this beauty?
That will be a awsome build!I'll guess 750
Good guess but a little off!

If you turn the casters by hand then push the jeep it will go better
We ended up learning the hard way haha
Whos jeep is the cheif or are you rebuilding both
My Moms! It’s a family build but it is owned by my parents. Hope that answers your question lol
Wiah i knew how you guys find these (rejected) cherokee cheifs you dont wanna use.. theyre in way better shape than the ones i can find in Northern Va
The first one we found was from a friend right down the road. The other was from Facebook marketplace. Got lucky with the second one!
Guess on purchase price, $2500. Enjoy the new project!
Thanks!!

That's a Cherokee S, not a Chief. And Cherokee Chief S never existed.
