I thought I was getting good at this game, then I played thru Drezzen. Corruption, death and frustration...
The difficulty problem with Owlcat's games is that the early game is always ''too hard'' because you have no options on how to play it since your characters are very low level but then the game opens up and you start snowballing with good builds.
The start of the game on unfair up until level 3 or even 5 should be easier to account for the lack of options you have at that point. Balancing all classes to be equally good is impossible, specially when they're using a stablished ruleset like Pathfinder.
its not impossible to do water elemental in another way:
camellia or seelah max ac stacking, protection and resistance to cold potion (you find in this dungeon), blur potion (you also find here). Now engage the elemental and circle everyone behind the elemental to avoid cleave. kill it while your tank dodges or resists the guy. works quite good on unfair with ANY party.
Yeah I normally do this. Usually I have Wendy or someone with a leopard. You can just barely get AC high enough to need a 20 plus protective luck makes it easier than some of the other fights.
Where'd you get that portrait? A dlc or something. That's a cool one...

Difficulty shouldn't be "can you survive 'till level 5'. It should be a consistent challenge throughout the game, now I know you can't balance all the classes to be equaly strong in different points in the game, I know, but you gotta at least try. yn? Honestly if they just kept the same amount of enemies as in normal but buffed and that was the only change in the maze for all difficulties, it'd be perfect in my opinion.
This is not unfair for sure the enemies hit for double damage and in this they are hitting for even below their modifier besides even x2 damage. Such as the corrupted mongrel brute, the cambions and the champion cultist. I have seen you clear this dungneon in your first unfair run especially the modifiers were even higher during the first release although you skipped the 4 corrupted mongrels on both runs and just got the armor. Curious did you just change the difficulty so that you can pass this content quicker to get to the main game? It’s a slog on unfair I know it takes literally an entire day of reloads to get through shield maze unless you have a special build dedicated to it. Considering you have a shit character for early game I understand it makes sense I would not want to go through that either.
Nope, It's unfair. I just had bunch of luck compared to later parts.
Wellp.., because the difficulty set to "UNFAIR" .... It's all about min-maxing and squeezing everything you can get from the game (mostly break the roleplaying whatsoever)
@@gs4ndy175 bro I played the maze on unfair on like three different builds. A modifier on damage is a fixed + value unless you have DR. Cambions also have favored enemy. They can’t do 6 damage to humans on unfair. With double damage even their lowest damage roll is a one shot on anything but your tank.
