- On this Episode of Limit 55, Daniel heads over to Tyson's to help give his MGB GT a good 'ol fashioned weekend tune-up. We change the spark plugs, tune the carburetors, and adjust the valves.
After a full day of wrenching, the BGT is up and running smoother than ever, ready for what these cars were designed to do- have fun in the canyon with friends- Daniel's MGA finally has a playmate and joins in the fun.

Lovely video, we need many more younger MG owners! This is a sweet MGB GT for sure. Midgets can be had for cheap, even MGBs are fairly inexpensive. GTs starting to get up there. As are pretty expensive, though plenty of examples under $10k. Love the maintenance videos, would like to see more tune and drive for sure. Group drives are also fun. Trips to car shows too!

Is it not usually the valves to do before synchronizing the carbs because adjusting the valves can effect the rate at which the carbs suck

great video guys! i have a 71 BGT that is almost ready for paint I habe had as my first project. where did you get the steering wheel? i know its a 6 bolt pattern but the placement is wierd so i am looking to replace the factory with a smaller one
I believe Moss Motors may have the small Moto Lita wheel…. I know what you mean, it is a great wheel!

In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!! (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!!!!

@@Schlipperschlopper So sad as in another life I lived in Germany for 3.5 yrs. Some of the best driving in the world thru Bavaria and the Alps. Currently own two German cars in the US.
@@jcheck6 Germany has become a green-socialist nightmare we are not allowed to do anything, I can't even use a diesel backup generator without suing the neighbors....
