Whenever I watch a video from you all, it brings back memories of my first boat, a 22 foot cabin cruiser. 😊
Ken, that's great to hear that we stirred up some good memories for you! Thank you for taking the time to comment. We love hearing from you .
Fantastic video! We have a 27OB and had a great summer up here in the Pacific Northwest. But watching your channel makes me long to return to the wonderful islands! Safe travels and fair winds.
If you’re ever down in the Bahamas let us know maybe we can get together. Julia and I plan on making another trip back to the West Coast in the near future.
Heading back to Exuma GOD willing this coming spring. 69/58 years old and still wanting to make memories. We have not been to the Exumas in 17 years. Can not wait to make that crossing in April. The transition from Deep blue to all those lighter blues coming into Bimini still gives me goosebumps. Thanks for posting these videos. It only encourages.
Glad you are enjoying the videos and even happier for you that you are still able to enjoy the Bahamas yourself. Safe travels and thank you for taking the time to leave us such a kind message
Great to see you guys back on here, you looked like you had a great time and those lobsters looked delicious.
Hi Michael, yes it’s good to be back up and running. It was a busy summer and hard to find time to do videos.
You guys are a great part of my life. Thank you!
Robert, that is so touching . Thank you for taking the time to leave such a sweet message. Stay well.
Thanks for sharing your journey. Looks like a great time with family.
Hi Bob, julia and I really enjoyed having ERIC join us on the boat it was probably our best vacation together.
Came across your channel. Im one of those dreamers ... one day im gonna get me a sea worthy boat and follow suit. ... you guys rock! Provide lots of valuable information. Great show!
Thank you Rockers, we appreciate that. Best of luck on following your dreams.
Love your videos, my wife and I want to go the Bahamas on our boat, maybe one day.
Thanks Bryan we appreciate your support and kind words. You would love the Bahamas- hope you two get there some day !
New watcher. I liked the message about even if nobody watches on UA-cam at least its your own memories. Thats what I'm telling my wife as I put more up.
Yawl are awsome!
Thanks Dog!
We have Elvin Ray, a Ranger Tug R-23, and are in Southport NC. Would love to do a Bahamas crossing sometime soon. Today, though, it was just time together anchored out on the Cape Fear River. Your videos are impressive and broadcast quality!
Thanks for the kind words. The amount of editing involved in these videos is outrageous but when we hear encouraging remarks from folks like you it makes it all worthwhile.
Really fun watching you all have fun together on that fabulous boat. I understand you towed it down from Canada. Do you ever do the Trent Severn or Rideau waterways up here at home?
Motorv8N we have not done the Trent Severn or Rideau yet. Perhaps in the future when we retire. There is so much water and beauty to explore in Canada!
how do you know where the fishing / lobstering areas are inshore??......all the best to you.
Trial and error . Sorry there is no secret . Caves and cavities for lobster -
Look for antennae,
and coral for the fish to find cover
Thinking of buying a Ranger 25. What am I looking at price wise for a nicely specced one? I was thinking $170-190. That about right?
Hello Kenny, I would say that was about right when we bought ours. Not sure what the current prices are now. Best to speak with a dealer . We ordered bare bones. No radar or auto pilot. Installed radar ourselves recently . I presume also you are talking USD.
I was really thinking of the legal aspect of it...do I need to be so many yards off away from shore or are there specified no fishing areas defined...thank you.
Yes there are no fish areas . I believe they show up on Navionics.
copy thanks @@expeditionseanest
whats up with the 3 kicker motors?
The 250 is the main motor, then one motor for the tender and one backup kicker motor.
Wow! I missed y'all. Never get any notifications. I have some catching up to do. But anyways....loved the video. That was an awesome marina that you visited. Looked pretty swanky and a wallet drainer. Too bad you couldn't catch any fish while trolling but y'all had success spearfishing for lobster! Glad y'all caught some before your son heads back. The lobster dinner looks pretty tasty. Wish I was sitting at the table with y'all.
We certainly had some good luck putting food on the table. Feeling so blessed . Happy to have you along each episode virtually since the beginning!
