This is an excellent example of a big thing that makes Key & Peele's sketches so awesome is not just the dialog and the acting, but also the cinematography, the editing, and the directing! This would have been so much lamer without the music and camera work. Every part of their show is just so polished!

For example, No way he sits on a pair of human legs instead of a toilet seat and doesn't notice the difference.
The moment is yet another "win" for Terry because he successfully faked being too wrapped up in the convo with his coworker and thus convinced Gabe of Terry's feigned disinterest in Gabe's attempt to fake-shame him.
Jokes aside, the way Karen says "Terry died" with the background music actually heartbreaking.
This and Substitute Teacher, are my favorite skits.

..i love how they amplify the asinine and give meaning to otherwise trivial existential moments. in these short skits, they are able to somehow cram in a whole experience.. we know and relate to the characters almost instantly. It's genius comedy and i don't say that lightly.
A better ending is if he was talking to the son (at the grave like in this ending) about his and Terry's relationship and how Terry didn't get him in the end and the son points at his tie and flicks him. He then looks at the wife and then the grave but the wife looks guilty and the son give s him an evil smile (kid looks like Terry). Hw screams No. Now that would be really funny.
