My God, you have no idea. I just had my collection of 110's out going through them in the kitchen getting ready for the fall changes. I have roughly 80, 110's or a variation of them, Jr's, +1's, +2's, silents etc. Clicked on this video and you said this bait is this much and Megabass is, and I was trying my damnedest to shut it off before you said it, to no avail. My wife just glanced at the pile of lures, realizing that 4 of them is a Hundred dollar bill, (and that this pile represents roughly $2000) and walked out of the room! Dohhh! She's probably getting ready to go shopping as we speak! 😂 😭 Oh Boy...might as well grab my dog and go fishin!
I like using the kvd 300 rip it 8-9 times then burn it home anything that was watching it usually hammers it. Ive caught bass and trout with it. Thanks for the underwater view...
Strike king is good enough for me and my budget. Oh speed spool said thank u for the referral the handwritten it on a sticky note when I got my bearings. 👍👍
Thanks, this was a nice experiment and unique which even I don't see the lure companies do it. unfortunately I could not see most of your rod and reel movements. maybe can be fixed in your coming reviews :) keep up such reviews. Thanks again.
Suspending jerkbaits don't actually suspend. They just sink really slow. Also, the water is warm so they are going to sink even faster than if the water was cold.
hunting_fishing That rapala is literally a slow sinking says so on the package. It comes in. And suspending models do suspend when in the right temp range. Usually says the temp range on the back of the box with most of them.
I like your videos. This video I have some things I actually disagree with you on. That’s okay though. Everyone has different preferences. I feel that mono dumbs down the action of these baits significantly. 1. The stretch of the line gives the bait less action on the twitch. 2. The fact that mono floats greatly effects the water column these are most effective at and also restricts the bait again on the wobble. I do highly agree with pointing your rod tip back at the bait. That’s so important and not too many people stress that. I can little get a vision110 to turn almost all the way back around when doing this. All in all As I said, it’s a good video and I personally like your videos. Awesome stuff man
Got talked into buying one. Now I here I should change the hooks and I don't like the tie ring. It's round and will snag your line. For the money I should be able to pull it out of the box and fish with it.
good job on getting your videos synced up!! the mega bass defiantly out shined the strike king 👌!! the strike king sounded like two beer cans being drug down a highway.
They both looked good. The mega bass bass looked a llittle better....but one thing that also o stood out to be is both are supossed to suspend, both seemed to sink rather quickly most times and float at others i realize you didnt let em sit long....but i don't know if either delivered a true suspend. I could be wrong but....any other perspective is welcome.....and i don't recall ir you said what line you was useing or not wich could be the cause....other then thst they liooked ok
Nice! Can you do a video on your go pro video settings like how do you have it when your fishing? I just got one and there's so much you can adjust but idk what to adjust it to or anything. Just wondering on how you have it for it can look good
First off. The first one is a rapala shallow shadow rap. Second. You should do a comparison between the megabass oneten, oneten plus one, and lucky craft jerkbaits
Megabass is awesome, no doubt. But at the rate I lose lures I can't see spending $25 - $35 per, when I can buy several very effective lures for the same price. You really can't whine about Megabass's quality though. Just wish I could afford them... I ready do enjoy your comparison videos. Very educational!
I don't think the first jerkbait you showing is a Strike King. The SK KVD model suppose to suspend. It look more like Rapala Shadow Rap due it's slow sinking.
trey brafford it better be at $25 a lure, I will be sticking with the Berkeley cutter, Rapala's X-rap, X-rap shad, and the shadow raps. I bet them hooks are trash and you have to change'em right outta the box, you don't have to do that with other brands shouldn't have to either at $25 dollars a lure and here I thought $8 was to much.
@@lisheltonanderson8645 the hooks on the megabass are actually amazing lol. those outbarbs are some of the best jerkbait hooks you can buy. i personally couldn't spend $25 for a jerkbait but with almost any other brand i'd change my the hooks out. i don't trust those dinky vmc's lol. most i've spent for a jerkbait is $15 on some lucky craft pointer 100's. it actually suspends too. not that slow float or slow sink shit.
Mega bass has a better sound an was better on the straight reel. But a big part of there price difference is a wrapped jerk bait witch is the strike king witch gets beat up an destroyed pretty quickly vs the mega bass an others in the price range that aren’t wrapped an can take much more abuse.
plant city chuck Same here man. ive done so well with the h2os and strike kings and they look very erratic underwater. The only thing i do is change the hooks on stike kings. You cant pay me to buy a $20 jerkbait or any hardbait
MegaBass over strike king naw... strike king over MegaBass still naw. Better have both plus a few other brands and let the bass tell you what they want.
Well guy's,from an unbiast point of view,i dont own either one of those baits that is. Clearly to me the first bait had a significantly more amount of movement,i saw it litterally jump 2 feet on some of those pulls. The second however had more of a rattle. Honestly i think with meganass your paying for the paint job,not saying it isnt worth the mo ey or that it dont work, but its clear the movement was tighter than the other and less erratic,to me anyway. And it kinda looked like the first bait was a rapala, not a strike king to start with.
You should do one with the Vision 110
My God, you have no idea. I just had my collection of 110's out going through them in the kitchen getting ready for the fall changes. Thanks for the input. I'll use it as is. I can say the paint job is awesome.
I like using the kvd 300 rip it

Thanks for the underwater view...
Strike king is good enough for me and my budget. Oh speed spool said thank u for the referral the handwritten it on a sticky note when I got my bearings. 👍👍
Awesome brother. 👍 Yes strike king is plenty good enough.
Well that "strike king" was a rapala shadow rap. The actual strike king on some days outfishes megabass
If I change hooks to 1x or 2x strong I stick to flouro as they require more force to penetrate hook. Megabass is awesome
Its like compare a Ferrari vs Chevy. Nice video!
Thanks, this was a nice experiment and unique which even I don't see the lure companies do it. unfortunately I could not see most of your rod and reel movements. maybe can be fixed in your coming reviews :) keep up such reviews. Thanks again.
I think the 1st jerkbait was a rapala shadow rap
hunting_fishing yep and its a slow sinking not suspending.
DK Dice yep i like them tho
Suspending jerkbaits don't actually suspend. They just sink really slow. Also, the water is warm so they are going to sink even faster than if the water was cold.
Correct and depending on what size hooks that are on the lure will determine how fast of slow that it sinks.

I’ve never used a mega bass jb but ik my clear ayu strike king Jerkbait kills in MI. It out fishes my Rapala x-raps hands down & I love Rapala
Got talked into buying one. Now I here I should change the hooks and I don't like the tie ring. It's round and will snag your line. For the money I should be able to pull it out of the box and fish with it.
I’ve never changed my hooks and have never lost a fish because of the hooks. Just my 2 cents
good job on getting your videos synced up!! the mega bass defiantly out shined the strike king 👌!! the strike king sounded like two beer cans being drug down a highway.
Ha ha. That’s a great description. 👍
It isn’t a strike king.
Dope 🤘🏼😎 Good stuff man.
They both looked good. Thanks for the video.
I didn't realize how much sound they make!
Maybe TOO loud? Seems like that may scare some fish off sometimes. Or not.
They also have “silent” versions as well!
Nice! Can you do a video on your go pro video settings like how do you have it when your fishing? I just got one and there's so much you can adjust but idk what to adjust it to or anything. Just wondering on how you have it for it can look good
Sure thing. What go pro did you get?
The hero 5 black
Sure thing brother. I’ll try to get it up in a day or two. 👊
Thanks man!
I'm good I rather lose a $7 lure than a $25 lure and cry lol
In Cold water the muted action of the shadow rap would probably catch more fish.
it’s crazy that there’s actually a difference. great vid
Thank you 👍
Good video.....MEGABASS.110+....for me!
Awesome stuff bro!!
Question??how can you stop your baitcaster reel from overspooling on you?
Great vid......Megabass
Good video, Thanks.
First off. The first one is a rapala shallow shadow rap. Second. You should do a comparison between the megabass oneten, oneten plus one, and lucky craft jerkbaits
I use rapala jerk baits mainly and I work at Walmart distribution. Great tackle at Walmart!
👍
💯💪👊LET'S GO!!! Dope review
Does that mega bass bait have a weight transferring system to it?
Would you say that jerkbaits are more versatile than crankbaits?
Different baits for different applications, they both work
Bro I'm sorry but that is a Rapala Shadow Rap. Not a Strike King.
I know it is. I tied the wrong one on. I can change the title but i still say strike king in the video.
I'd buy megabass over any of the other jerk baits any day
Megabass is awesome, no doubt. But at the rate I lose lures I can't see spending $25 - $35 per, when I can buy several very effective lures for the same price. You really can't whine about Megabass's quality though. Just wish I could afford them... I ready do enjoy your comparison videos. Very educational!
Buy.a Lure retriever.....
I don't think the first jerkbait you showing is a Strike King. The SK KVD model suppose to suspend. It look more like Rapala Shadow Rap due it's slow sinking.
Yuepheng Vang Suspend really means that they sink really slow. The water is warm so they will sink even faster than if the water was cold.
No suspend means suspend. The rapala shadow rap is a slow sinker. All high dollar good jerkbaits will suspend perfectly most of the time.
Marcus Young it wasn’t a strike king
U can literally get those shadow raps to do 180s not bad for like 10 bucks
I like the megabass
megabass wins vs anything!
Yes it does 👊
trey brafford it better be at $25 a lure, I will be sticking with the Berkeley cutter, Rapala's X-rap, X-rap shad, and the shadow raps. I bet them hooks are trash and you have to change'em right outta the box, you don't have to do that with other brands shouldn't have to either at $25 dollars a lure and here I thought $8 was to much.
The ito flit is better in my experience by a long shot
Pointers and Duos are almost as good and a while 10 bucks cheaper
@@lisheltonanderson8645 the hooks on the megabass are actually amazing lol. those outbarbs are some of the best jerkbait hooks you can buy. i personally couldn't spend $25 for a jerkbait but with almost any other brand i'd change my the hooks out. i don't trust those dinky vmc's lol. most i've spent for a jerkbait is $15 on some lucky craft pointer 100's. it actually suspends too. not that slow float or slow sink shit.
Tried to use your promo code for favorite usa, but it didnt work, any way you can hook it up with a different one?
You have to register an account on their web site then it’ll work.
Thanks man, I appreciate you, I really enjoy your vids keep up the great work.
Thanks brother 👍
The price difference between Strike King and Megabass.....
2 beers plus tip at the local bar.
I'm texting before I even watched the video I want a lot of tournaments on striking I'm sticking with strike King
yea the first jerk bait was a rapala i have the exact same one
Megabass, all day long.
👍
Mega bass has a better sound an was better on the straight reel. But a big part of there price difference is a wrapped jerk bait witch is the strike king witch gets beat up an destroyed pretty quickly vs the mega bass an others in the price range that aren’t wrapped an can take much more abuse.
I cant make myself spend 20$ on a lure.just cant do it.i will stick with my h2o express jerk shad for 5$
plant city chuck Same here man. ive done so well with the h2os and strike kings and they look very erratic underwater. The only thing i do is change the hooks on stike kings. You cant pay me to buy a $20 jerkbait or any hardbait
Will stick with my strom,Rapha, strike kings
I got a nice corvina on 1.97 ozark tiny jerkbait from Walmart best 2 dollars I've ever spent
Your headline says Rapala Shadow Rap versus MegaBass , but you keep saying StrikeKing 🙀🤔
I know I grabbed the wrong one
+FatBassTV Now the titles back to strike King..😂
I guess I just need to delete the video then. I messed up saying the wrong one 🤷♂️
Megabass X-80 Trick Darter is the Best of the Best !!!!!
The vision 110 is where the money is
Looks like same number of fish in my lake
That's a rapala...
That’s not a strike king
megabass and imakatsu are the best jerckbaits
I love my megabass 110
The Strike King looked better, actually.
Why don't you move the damn cam to catch a side view.....just saying.....damnit man
MegaBass over strike king naw... strike king over MegaBass still naw. Better have both plus a few other brands and let the bass tell you what they want.
This blows why not use all110
Daaaa
MegaBass
The 1st is a rapala jerkbait... not a strike king
Well guy's,from an unbiast point of view,i dont own either one of those baits that is.

Megabass for sure
Another great video brother keep it up what about some frogs
I’ll see if I can figure out how to to some top water vids. Thanks brother 👊
to bad thats not a strike king jerk…... thats a rapshad but ok!!
Yeah, you pretty much screwed the pooch and your credibility not knowing what baits your testing.
1st bait was more erratic on the twitch.....
Kvd has better hooks then megabass 🤦🏻♂️
this guy really isn't good at working these things, not a good comparison
The rapala husky jerk have way more movement than the mega bass. Eh.....megabass not all that. Not worth the 25$.
madara uchiha 🤦🏻♂️
