    We are so damn priveleged being able to root for Lamar on a weekly basis, have to enjoy this for as long as he plays football cause this type of talent is so rare

    Ar'Darius Washington's insertion into the starting lineup has been instrumental in our recent success on defense.
    And Nate Wiggins has been an unsung hero.
    We have the team to win it all this year (barring injury to a key piece); this is a better team than last year, I believe.

    I love these videos after games. Even after losses is refreshing to hear some real football analysis without the biases of media and their agenda pushing. Keep doing what you doing man.

    Henry only had a long of 20 with the 147 yards rushing. I never thought we needed any better than what we had at RB to win it alll, but man witnessing this season and how high his floors and ceilings are lets me know that there’s really levels to this even at the devalued running back position

    • @mobrown1198
      @mobrown1198 8 годин тому +3

      This is a “point” I’ve argued for years. There’s a difference in running backs… Media, certain schemes, GM’s, have everyone believing that it didn’t matter …” any back could do” ~ Yes, any backs, can get stats, but there is a gap in talent…
      I believe that because the league went to such a heavy passing league, teams shunned the position, as not as valuable… it’s still unfortunate that running backs will continue to be under valued.
      Elite talent matters… even at running back.

    Mina Kimes is the best. Never shouty and always well informed. She's the only analyst who seems to actually watch games (not just highlights) and knows what's going on internally on teams.

    The play Lamar had "toying" with Hunter. Reminded me of the first game this year against the Bengals. When he was toying with their DE and ironically threw that crazy ass pass to Likely. Then again that designed run play for a TD. Also reminded me of that epic touchdown run Lamar had against the Bengals. When he had that epic spin with Mark Ingram right by his side years ago. ❤💪✊

    Lamar and Henry and playing out of their minds also we have to give it up for monken and Orr for calling a hella of game.. after that first 3 down conversion we gave up with the middle wide open the very next 3rd down we changed it up and seemed to learn from the previous 3rd down. We’re playing our best football at the right time

    Lamar is magically when he is rolling out towards the left sideline… if I was a DC I would definitely tell my guys to force him to left because those plays he makes on the right sideline are absolutely deflating. Dameco Ryan face after dat play says it all.

    The craziest stat I saw through the game was that in the first half Lamar was like 6/10 for 158 yards which means he average about 15 yards per attempt. I couldn’t believe that we were putting up those type of numbers at the same time as us averaging 8 yards per rush. Truly ridiculous.

  • @cchit13
    @cchit13 14 годин тому +1

    Just getting Eddie Jackson and Marcus Williams off the field has been huge for this team.
    Still don’t think Lamar gets enough credit for Henry being even more dominant than he has at any point in his career. Like that we’ve leaned back towards the shotgun run game in recent weeks. Under center will always have a place, but Steelers game showed how Lamar can repeatedly neutralize a defender in the run game by having a pulse on the field.
    And Mina is great. Actually watches the games and knows what’s happening, which you can’t say about a lot of media people, and consistently offers insightful commentary.

    Hey sir, great video.
    I’m curious if you intend to do a video on the defense, perhaps as a re-evaluation of Zach Orr to give your fans some thoughts on what you attribute the success on the defense as of late.
    Me personally - I am hoping to hear a sentiment that expresses newfound confidence in Zach Orr’s ability to coach our defense. I’ve been encouraged to see he and his staff are making adjustments from halftimes.
    It looks to the naked eye that Zach Orr’s mid season progression bears similarities to Mike McDonald in his first year.
    Edit:
    Made it to the end of the video. Glad to hear great thoughts on the defense. WHEN will you be making that video? lol

    That Likely TD was plain filthy. A friend of mine asked "how did Likely get that wide open?" and I replied "you try covering one of the best receiving TE's for 8 full seconds when Lamar Freaking Jackson is threatening to run it in".
    On the 48 yard run, Lamar stated that he was "jogging" at 21.2 mph. That may be an exaggeration, but the fact that he was looking behind himself to determine the angle of the pursuit demonstrates he had an additional gear to go to if he needed it. Truly unfair.

    Mina is awesome. I'm going to stick my neck out here and risk getting my head bit off by some people. Mina is thorough and extremely knowledgeable because that's what she's HAD to be to break through as a serious analyst in a male-dominant field covering a male sport. She's a serious analyst, not just a pretty face facilitating a discussion. I'm glad you found her refreshing. Perhaps the NFL should move toward analysts of her caliber instead of "analysts" that provide only entertainment value.

    6:03 You seem to speak about basketball a lot when describing Lamar. I couldn’t agree more. He reminds me of 2014-2018ish Steph Curry. Stuff where you put your hands on your head until the ball goes through the hoop, then you begin to trust those plays more and more. Curry also had this “gravity” that I believe Lamar has too. His presence on the court gets others open shots, just like Lamar opens gaps for Henry.

    Don't wanna throw cold water on our winning streak, but the Ravens defense really caught a schedule break in their last 6 opponents of 2024... given their weakness on defense...
    That is to say... including the upcoming Browns... the average rank in passing yards for those teams is 24th...
    This means we have been playing bottom feeders when it comes to passing in Nov & December...
    It's great to see improvement, but it must be put into perspective...
    Furthermore... these last 6 opponents only avg. 20.6 points a game & two of them avg under 20 points a game - NYG: 14.3, Cle.: 16.3...
    So, again, it's great to see we've improved on defense... but we've played no team in the last 6 that was capable of truly exploiting our weakness on defense... and this, surely, has contributed to the improvement...
    So, it remains to be seen if we've really improved & can do the same when we play Buffalo and KC whom are 9th and 11th respectively in passing yards; and also avg 8 more points a game than our last 6 opponents...
    We'll see... but I have a feeling LJ8 is gonna have to score us to a SB!
