Thank you SO much! So clear so precious! You are a gift from heaven as a teacher! I am in The Yoga Abbey online YTT right now and I LOVE your class, I had an assignment to pick a class , not vignasa style, and I pick one of your classes and really enjoy it! I ended listening to this video and others and also love how clear and confident you shine! By the way I found you just searching “yoga types” and you came ❤️🔥 bless you , thanks again from Panama. Jesus loves you 😘
Thank you for your video Emily, how did you find a school that taught on Sundays only? Also work full time and finding it difficult to find a course that suits
Thank you for this video. I am confident to guide people but I am not good in asana. My hip twisted a bit, and got slightly thoracic scoliosis. But I am doing good in living yogic lifestyle and meditation. I will continue to practice asana and learning, until i got the certificate!
Hi Emily! Thank you for your video, it's been very helpful for the beginning of my research into doing YTT. Do you have a link to the course you did? It sounds like the kind of pace etc that would suit me! Thanks. x
Hi Thanks so much for making this video. Would you recommend doing a 200hr ytt online? I am considering an online course over a face to face due to rhe fact its allows me a bit more flexibility to complete as well as the cost being less than in person training. Any advise would be greatly received. Many thanks
Hi Rebecca, thanks for your comment. Personally I loved my in-person training and the connections I was able to make but I appreciate the cost and time commitment are a big issue. I would always recommend going for an in-person course wherever possible as it allows you to form a more personal connection with your teacher and the other students, but if an online course is the only viable option for you then go for it! You will learn so much either way :)
I did my ytt online for the same reasons and i felt like it was just as good as it would've been in person! The connections were still amazing and also allowed me to be far more grounded than I would've been as I was in my own home. If you are struggling with cost I'd definitely say online is just as good 😊 I guess it depends on the person!
200hrs YTT is TBS, T being total. Rishikesh is a puppy factory for yoga "teachers". It's a rort. The Cert 200s are out there in swarms and they are dangerous. 3 years training and study minimum. The Cert 200s are taking the piss and an insult to the art.
Learning yoga from the yoga capital is the best real knowledge the yoga in West changed a lot and people there is nothing called booty yoga or hot yoga in real yoga 😂😂😂
Where did you get that nonsense from? Your propaganda no doubt. I live in the USA and NO ONE has ever referred to yoga here as "booty yoga". Some people do refer to Bikram yoga as "hot yoga" simply because it IS hot. Get off your high horse, smh.
Of course it takes a lifetime to become a practised yogi, I completely agree with that. A 200 hour course is just a starting point in the journey of sharing yoga with others.
I agree about doing it over a short period of time I also done it over a year and it has been beneficial for me! Thanks for your video 🥰🙏🏻💕
Being simple yoga practitioner. Thank you for the tips Emily ❤

it takes years to be a whole yogi, not 200 hours. the word teacher should be dropped.
Of course it takes a lifetime to become a practised yogi, I completely agree with that. A 200 hour course is just a starting point in the journey of sharing yoga with others.
