      But now I realize that there are fools born every second.

    Can anyone please explain how that barge withstood the tremendous amount of force being applied to it from the topside from the rockets engines and not sink a little lower, and then after the landing you don't see the barge even drop a little bit in it's floating level it have big giant splashes coming off the edges from the sudden addition of hundreds of tons of weight being added on top of it.

    Believe it or but Elon Musk came to me at CBU and told me "You destroyed my rocket now you gotta make me a rocket. I know you were Nikola Tesla in your past life and I want to see what you can do for rockets. So I am going to give you the ultimate challenge I want you to launch a rocket and do 2 orbits around the Earth and for it to land on a floating platform"...So I got the idea from a toy to land a rocket on a floating platform.

    • @janselkennethtolentino8269
      @janselkennethtolentino8269 7 років тому +10

      +stan smith It cant come in dead upright because the engine could fail then it would fall steeply. It launches then does a gravity turn then does a series of maneouvers then it comes in sideways. It also depends on the planned orbit.

      Yup. e.g. Uniform rate of burn, as evidenced by tail flame, but hugely increased deceleration as the "rocket" gets closer to the landing platform. Starts off coming down really fast, then miraculously slows and straightens. They didn't calibrate this cgi properly. It's like the "rocket" and platform are in two separate frames.
