  • George lives in a house for people with learning disabilities. He likes going to football, cooking classes and singing in a choir. George was worried about going out alone. He was scared of getting lost. Now when George goes out he wears a GPS tracker gadget. So now George is not worried about getting lost.
These animations are meant to be used by staff and relatives and shown to tenants to try and ease their fears and help them make choices about technology.
TAPPI Phase 2 is funded by The Dunhill Medical Trust (DMT) and supported by the Housing LIN and the TSA.
The TAPPI project partners were delighted to be joined by Co-Production Works (Co-Production and Engagement partner) and the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research (CCHPR) at the University of Cambridge (Evaluation and Shared Learning partner) in delivering TAPPI Phase 2.
A big thank you to each of the 6 locality 'testbeds' in which the project was co-produced over a 12-15-month period. They include:

    • London Borough of Haringey
    • Platform Housing Group
