You should try out Carbe Diem pastas some time. They have elbows, linguini, fettucini and rigatoni and I love them all. They may be a little higher in carbs but to me they are a lot better tasting than the konjac and palm heart products and as infrequently as I eat pasta they are well worth it. Closest taste to regular pasta that I have found.
Girls! Ya gotta do another chris cooking Nashville's recipe....the noodle recipe! I've done his Ramen and spaghetti noodle ones, and they are out of this world and way cheaper! Would love! love! love for you two to do a video on them and tell me what you think? My whole family who aren't keto absolutely LOVED THEM and went back for seconds! Very filling too! His noodle recipes are my go to now. I've cooked several dinners with them and I actually crave them!
I have Immi in my cabinet that I have not used yet, because my husband keeps telling me that he wants to use it for ramen. WHICH, he never does. So, I’m sneaking out a package and making this recipe very soon! I have nice fresh basil from my garden, and a couple small pieces of barata. I will say that my stomach seams to have a very strong aversion to my eating hot and cold things at the same time (like ice cream and coffee….no bueno). But, I could see myself heating the barata for about 5 minutes in the oven just to get to ‘warm’. Looks so yum! Thank you for sharing!

OMG, i love it. i add pulled pork and some scrambled egg into the mix and its like eating Pho. i used to love cup o noodle, knowing it was essentially eating carb and salt (pre keto) but this is actually a much healthier option and i think im going to subscribe to the site for the added savings. Ill give the pasta a 2nd try, but dont really feel the need now that i know the ramen is so good, lol. great find.

It is a dried shirataki rice that requires boiling water (I add salt and butter) and then adding equal part rice, cover and let sit covered for 10 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. Gamechanger. The net carbs per serving is 7. The reason that it smells and tastes like rice is because they use a little rice flour in their product and then dehydrate. It is on Amazon under the brand Liviva.... they dried shirataki rice, and a dried shirataki spaghetti, but I think it might be as thick as Shanghai noodles.
You could take part of the cheese away and use a cup to form the rest that you are going to add to the dish. Mix the part you took away and add it to the sauce. Just a thought.

I tried Immi as ramen & it was awful, broth was ok, but the noodles were hard & strange texture I did cook longer too, they just wouldn’t soften up, recipe looks delicious I might give another try, my favorite is miracle noodles from Costco

@@cherielittle7815 I put them in a medium hot skillet and dry them out. Sprinkle with some salt. Then I add them to whatever sauce I'm making.
I think that is the perfect ratio of burrata to "noodles"!!!

You can use a pinch of salt as an abrasive and the knife to mash the garlic into a paste.

the trick with burrata is to take it out of the fridge and let it come to room temp before adding it to your pasta.
