Youth to hedkace: stay young.... @ heart anyways lol. Sorry, it's the best I can do. I'm still Trying to find the keys to that darn Deloren or the blue police box (tardis). No luck so far, but I'll let you know if i find either.
I had been thinking all my life that my parents never got me nothing. I was shocked when I realized I had gotten 95 percent of everything in this video.
I know, right? For being so poor (as I remember) I sure had a lot of these. Granted we did not get color TV until 1979, or an car with aircon until the mid 1990s ha ha 😎
As an adult, or as the kids you were? I think what a lot of us miss is not the specific decade, but the innocence of youth, that time when we were not as burdened by the stresses of the world. No bills to pay, the news was just a dumb tv show for grownups, our bodies were still full of energy and growing. All we knew were toys. Everything was a potential toy. And I think even in the 70's the adults had plenty to stress about. It had it's pros and cons.
These really take me back to a simpler time . I remember most of these, and the feeling of wonderment that I felt upon first encounters...even where I was at the time....God, I miss being a kid !
I had a little over half of the toys shown here. Made me nostalgic and grateful to have had parents that tried so hard to get nice things for me even though we didn't have much money.
On the British comedy "Are You Being Served?" the toy department mentions a similar toy "Wibbly Wobblies" Was this a real British equivalent of "Weebles" or a fictitious brand name?
I remember a game from the 70s. It capitalized on the movie Jaws. It was a plastic shark with a hinged jaw that was filled with little plastic items that held the mouth of the shark open. The players then removed the items 1 at a time until the jaws snapped shut. Does anyone else remember that?
Thank you for making this video. It made me realize how good my mom was to my brother and I at Christmas every year. Because I’m pretty sure I had at least 80 to 90% of everything you showed. Thank you again, I really appreciate these videos.
My cousin has two grandchildren, aged 3 and 5. Connect Four was one of their Christmas presents for 2020. I watched them play it just three days ago! Obviously, the 3 year-old didn't understand the game. He just liked putting the checker pieces into the grid. I had a great time watching the kids playing a game from my own childhood. A blast from the past!
Yes it is! It's really a connection between the generations which is more than just a connect four. So awesome to hear of that because I always loved that game as well. Thank you for watching and sharing their story.
I had every one of the toys at the beginning. The ones that “didn’t make it out of the 70s”. What great memories! Edit: we also had an ATARI. I didn’t realize how expensive they were. Thank you, Dad. 💕
We had one too, and by a stroke of luck, I ended up getting it. Good thing too, because neither of my both younger brothers would have taken any measures at all to see to it that it survived much more than a year or so. My eldest of them didn't even want it at all, and the youngest didn't even care, just because. He barely knew what it was and there were better games and consoles by the time he was old enough to even care about video games at all. I don't even remember if it went with me when I moved out on my own, or if it was maybe even several years later. Dad bought it as a family present for Christmas in either '79 or '80, and I never knew until just now how hard and how much overtime Dad would have had to put in to even begin to think about getting one. I would have understood, even back then at just 11 years old, and would've been extra, extra thankful to him for it.
I do think they are good for cognitive skills. In fact they should require a few levels on it before someone can get your drivers license. Comes in handy for stop signs and traffic. Thank you for watching!
Hey Rhett, my wife and I bought many of these for our kids in the 70's. I never conquered the Rubric cube, but really liked the Slime, we bought for our son. Merry Christmas my friend.
🎉1970 greetings from coastal Mississippi. What a wonderful flashback of memories. So glad to have grown up in the 70's. I still have some of these items.❤😂🎉
Wow! What a blast from the past! I was born in 1972 and I had many of these toys. Several of them I forgot about until seeing this video. I guess my parents spent a lot of money on us. I wish I had kept them all!
Between me and my friends growing up in the 70’s, we played almost everything on this vid. Great job putting it together. Reminded me of some other favorites too like Tobor and Big Trak. Good ole days...
Evil Kenevil amazing piece of toy history - great artwork on the box and a toy that could take a beating and still work no matter how many times you made it jump a death defying ramp over a load of Barbie dolls lol
You're right about that. I never had any broken bones but I did have a lot of bumps, bruises, scrapes and stitches in my head ones. I supposed now days it would have been a confusion too.
I was born in the middle of the year of “ 72 .. didn’t recognize the comic book , I had a few of the items but the spoiled children I played with had all the other ones.
This was great! Between my sister and me we had most of the toys shown in this video, which is kind of amazing to me because I never thought we had that many. I guess the ones we did get were the most popular. Something that I expected to see but did not was Lite Brite. My parents were afraid of it catching on fire, so we never got one, but I had friends who did and that one always amazed me. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Sounds like you all had a great childhood! Lite Brite was super popular for a long time but it actually came from another decade so I have it in a previous video. Thank you for watching!
I knew about some of these but was busy working to keep my family fed and housed. Our kids were born early 70s so they got into some of these toys. I usually found out about them bare footed in the middle of the night. (Ouch). Thanks for the memories Rhett...Peace!!! Bill
You're welcome. Keeping your family fed, housed and clothed is way more important. I had some of these but not all. It was a fun time period though. Thank you for watching Bill!
Ah...Thank you for this video. Brings back my childhood. I had several of those toys you showed and played with some that my friends might have had that I didn't.
What a great video really took me back to my childhood and made me realise how lucky I was to live in that era 😁👍🏻glad I was born when I was and not in these modern times ❤️
No ball playing in the house! Love Weebles! Evel Kneevel crashed way more than once. When he did big jumps my Dad would call us in to watch him on the Wide World of Sports!
Who remembers the yellow metal Tonka dump truck that you used to put your knee in and push yourself around? Hot wheels race track, Big Wheels with the handbrake and Huffy BMX bikes with the banana seat? I could go on and on. What a time to be a kid. Miss it. This video brings back so many memories!
I had a dump truck like you mentioned. I also had a jeep that I pulled around behind the bike and we would also sit on it while it was being pulled. Thank you for watching!
Ahhhhh the memories. I had nearly every one of these toys. What a great childhood I and my two brothers had. My dad actually broke his nose trying to put together our sit n spin. He put the handle on wrong and had to fight with it to get it off and when he finally did it came straight up on his face and broke his nose! Christmas Eve 1975
My sister and I had almost everyone of these. I would spend hours playing with my Micronauts. Another favorite of mine was called Big Trak. It was like a sci-fi tank you could program with a keypad on top to where you wanted it to go. My sister had Baby alive and baby burps. There was also a smash up derby with the same pull strip as the motorcycle one. I had both. Watching this video my mind for a split second is right there playing with them again. I was born in 1969 so I was the perfect age for all this stuff.
Sounds like you had some great memories with those toys and I completely understand. I think kids were more connected with them than what they are now. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories!
Wow I had almost every toy on here. Even had the first gaming console Pong till Atari 2600 came out. My dad still owns the pong system. I just watched the 6 million dollar man yesterday!
This really takes me back to childhood. Even though I'll be 50 this year I still want to play with the toys again! I bet most of them are still in my parents' attic! Thanks for the memories!💜💙💗
Much of what you mentioned is actually from other decades. They were so incredible that they carried over into other decades with their popularity. Green machine is one of those that is original to the decade. There was another one like that called Blue Max which is what I had. Thank you for watching!
"Action Garage" at the the end brought tears to my eyes. It's the earliest toy I can remember. Haven't seen it since I was a child. But when I saw a picture of it, I recognized it immediately. I loved this thing. You could drive the cars into the elevator, which would haul them to the second floor, which had a killer ramp. I loved that thing and I'd forgotten how much I loved it until I saw this picture. Ha. thanks for that.
Born in 1960 I know we had the best toys ever! Waterfall Ring Toss, Connect Four, Trouble, Stretch Armstrong was my brother’s favorite and even the old Sit and Spin my Sister’s favorite and the Slime…. gosh what a great decade it was for us. We had the Atari 2600 and the games and it was such a blast! So if you don’t think you had a lot think again and remember to thank your Mom for making it all possible! But I wonder… does anyone remember Lincoln Logs, Barrel Full of Monkeys or even Klaidescopes? Where you can see colorful images by turning the tube.
GI Joe came out in 1964 and Big Wheels came out in 1969 so I have them in the 1960s decade video even though they still remained popular for decades. Thank you for watching!
I had the Mattel hand held race game and I can still remember how it was even now. When you got good you'd sort of anticipate/guess where to go next and if you F'd up you bit the dust, but if you got lucky you could do it in like 25 seconds or whatever the time was. I'd love to try that again just for kicks.
Awesome nostalgia right here. I had the Atari 2600, Rubik's Cube, and Simon Says. All super fun, but I remember the Simon Says taking a lot of big batteries haha.
This was my favorite decade for toys. I remember getting that Atari 2600. That joystick killed my hand but I spent literal hours playing Atari. I gave a Simon to my granddaughter last year. My son ( her father) couldn’t put it down. And perfection!
9:24 The tracer gun was such a blast. The discs would get lost with all of us playing with it. You could get replacement discs though. We did a version of hide and seek where the seeker had the disc gun and needed to shoot the hider before they got to homebase.
Those things were awesome! I think the brand name was Zebra. My friends and I figured out that you could shoot pennies out of them as well. LOL. At least the older ones could, later in the 80's they started putting weaker springs in them, and finally stopped selling them around 1990 or so.
Takes me back to when I was a kid. I remember the Star Wars figures. They were difficult to find, at times. I think, I still have the vinyl box, with most of them in it? A lot of memories.
Great memories, born in 1965 I was a true child of the 70s, had quite a few of these toys - ha! good ol' Slime! " Yeah! It's green and it... oozes! Neat-o! "
I had so many of these! Nerf football was my favorite! Had Weebles, and the Evel Kneivel stunt cycle I got for Christmas of '75. So many more... Wonderful memories...
Finally got over to watch this. I remember every last one of them, and it ended on the one I probably played the most. I kept that Electronic Baseball game for years. Even as a kid I knew the Pet Rock was silly. I just went outside and picked up a rock.
You're right. I don't understand the pet rocks or the rock concert things that were popular. Both the football and the baseball were super popular. I'm always amazed at how those old electronics will still work too! Seems like things now days don't last that long. Thank you for watching my friend!
Everyone had a Pet Rock! I wanted one sooo bad but my mom said No! I’m not paying money for a rock, my dad said go outside and find a rock and put it in a box. Ha Ha
Great video, you showed many of the toys that I had as a kid. I don't know how popular it was but Space: 1999 was big in the mid-70s and many kids, like me, had replicas of the Eagle space ship.
It is difficult to show all the toys. I did not have the one you are spearing of but I did have a Batman and Robin with the Batmobile I loved. Might have been made by Mego I'm not sure. Thank you for watching!
I have the large Eagle Transporter with 3 crew members and all accessories still in a display case. Lost my original one in 1984 and bought this one in 1995 in the box.
Since this just came up in my feed and is a year old, I didn’t want to like and add comments and annoy those who left comments a year ago. But….I was born in 64 and was the youngest of 4 kids, so I think we had all of these at some point in time between all of us. The funny thing was that I had a baby in 85, and he had a good number of these as well. One that isn’t on the list that my brother and son loved was Creepy Crawlers. They were messy, but they were lots of fun!
Wow! He was certainly determined to get it! That Atari was an amazing game system and I had hours and hours of entertainment from it. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. Thank you for watching!
That's quite the service! I have a buddy still in with 30 years. He's had quite the run. We were enlisted together and now he is a Commander. He's a XO right now but is talking about retiring soon. That's going to lead into other things for sure.
@@RhettyforHistory Yep thanks for your service. My Buddy retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer. I lost track of him when he was working at The Electric Boat Company.
Wow...my childhood all over again. I had many of those games and the Merlin toy you showed in the intro. I LOVED that thing and it provided hours and hours of fun. I loved anything futuristic and modern back then. One of my friends at school had that computerized robot car..Big Trak...I wanted one so much. My favorite toy was a Magnus Disney organ that was bright orange which led me on to a musical career afterwards.
There was another JAWS-inspired item many may recall, which had a diver in a plastic cage, and the shark trying to get at him. I think it was mounted on a background which simulated being under the sea.
I'm the "old man" of the 70's feedback...back in the 1970's, I was collecting items from the 1920-1960 period...and still love those 30 years of history and decor. Oh, yeah, I'm turning 79 this year.
I wanted Shrinky Dinks, but never got them. I also wanted the Tootsie Roll Candy factory that made whistles and I wanted a Kenner Close and Play and other toys. We did have the coin shooting gun on this video. It was lots of fun and we didn't aim at the face or try to hurt each other. 😄
Another great toy was the Tyco race track! I though it was the greatest thing ever in all of existence! You squeeze the trigger faster and faster to make the car go faster! (at least that’s how I remember it)
Tyco and AFX were AWESOME! Then Total Control Racing, TCR came out with cars that could swap lanes. Free lane racing. I had the Tyco and AFX sets, but TCR was expensive and since the cars were different and the tracks as well, my Dad said no way am I spending more on another different set when you have a nice set now.
Im 50 here in 2021..i had most of these, & if I didnt, I knew someone who did, great time to be a kid. In first grade some girl stole my Slime...I was pissed (ok, I was crying).
Haha! That's funny bit I understand. These toys really were great and I liked friends having different toys than I did or vice versa. Gave you a reason to hangout and play with friends. That's something I think kids now days miss out on. Thank you for watching!
This was so fun to watch! I had so many of these toys! Slime drove my mom crazy lol. I loved Weeble Wobbles! I had Perfection and it was sometimes irritating but yet fun, Water Ring Toss was fun. I had a Pet Rock. We couldn't afford Atari but my step dad got Intellivision and that was fun! Love Connect 4 now as an adult. Hungry hippos I loved as a kid and so much more!
Funny thing is I had the Atari, but while in the hospital for a few days as a kid, they had an Intellivision system in the "playroom", I always wanted one of those. Odd how we always wanted the one we didn't have. Maybe not wanted so much as thought about it...lots...lol. Merry Christmas!🎅
Lite Bright and Spirograph were very popular, Comp IV (4) and Merlin were fun. I never owned Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots but I had friends who had one. Who could forget the multiplayer games where you had to make a complete circle around the playing board and bring home 4 or 5 of your colored pieces? These games had a pop-o-matic center, a sealed plastic dome with dice or a single die inside that would roll the dice when you pressed down on the dome, they always broke but you could improvise your dice rolling. Trouble and Headache were very popular pop-o-matic games, my favorite pop-o-matic game was Flight Captain.
I don't know about the US but in the UK there was 'crossfire. A puck, two guns, a shed load of ball bearings, with a few that were off size. The small ones fell out and the large ones hoofed towards your opponent. How my sister or I never lost an eye, ill never know. Looking back, build quality was grim, and like most others, it just never looked the same as the TV ad. Mind you, our haircuts did!
I don't believe I have seen that game but sounds interesting. Probably just needs eye protection. I'll have to look that game up. Thank you for watching!
My daughter was playing that game with a friend lying on her stomach. Her friend knocked the ball bearing straight into her mouth &she swallowed it too.Obviously we had to wait a few days afterwards. She was ok just bit shocked really.
Thank you for doing this… I have a sister born in 1970 and I remember her getting the baby alive for Christmas and Rubiks cube, a company put out a cheat book on it LOL although I believe that, that would’ve been 1980 or so… My daughter had a hungry hungry hippos game that was monkeys and there were bananas up on the top of the tree that as the game vibrated they fell down and the monkey had to go out grab the bananas and put it into the dish
I remember that Monkey game you are talking about. I had forgotten about that one. You're right about the cheat book coming out. I never bought the book so I never could solve more than two sides. My oldest brother could do it in no time at all. My middle brother and I just cheated! Thank you for watching and sharing a little more!
I had at least half of the toys shown in this video at one point in my life as a kid. There was also a handheld baseball game that was not listed in this video. Also had a thing called a gyroscope that was similar to a Top. Had a toy boomerang that folded out to a "X" shape, then you would throw it and it came back to you (most of the time...lol). I had a balsa wood plane that you put together, then throw it and watch it fly.
I enjoyed the memories of my growing up, I was born in 1964 so the 70s were a huge part of my youth, but you left out a few very important items, Hot Wheels and that crazy orange track were the little boys gold, and a whipping with the track could also be had, Whammo Frisbees was also a must and Lite Brite. The Yo Yo was also everywhere.
OMG, we had every one of these toys! My stepmother bought them all! There were six of us kids, so we were constantly playing with these toys and games!
Dear youth, I miss you more than I ever could have imagined. 😔
These were good times! Thank you for watching!

On the British comedy "Are You Being Served?" the toy department mentions a similar toy "Wibbly Wobblies" Was this a real British equivalent of "Weebles" or a fictitious brand name?
The commercial for Weebles used to drive me crazy! It was so annoying. BUT, it definitely got people's attention!
It’s amazing I can still remember that tagline, but I can never find my keys!

You had some great ones! Thank you for watching!
I love seeing these vintage toys! I remember many of these
They are fun to look back on and see how they helped shape our childhoods. Thank you so much for watching Brenda!
I remember those water tanks with different games inside them, I always thought those were cool as hell.
They were hours of fun! Definitely our ipods! Thank you for watching!
played them at the dentist office for years
The Loma Linda dental school had them to keep children happy for cleanings and such. They were awesome.😁
They were cool until they started to leak.

Rod or Table hockey, Johnny Lightning 500 & All-Star Baseball were my favorites growing up in the 70s ... oh and hot wheel track & cars!
Pretty much just summed up my childhood.
There were a lot of incredible toys from this decade! Thank you for watching!
Sit and spin wore two out
Back when some kids lost games and some kids won games. 😂
Yes, in life you have to learn how to do both! Thank you for watching!
So True, I sucked, but I tried :)
Back when some kids got impaled by lawn darts. 😁
You were told to rub some dirt on it and walk it off.
Even though I was born in '79 I still remember a lot of this stuff as I got most of my toys used from older kids or garage sales.
Those were the best kind! Cheap and you could have a lot more! Thanks for watching!
I forgot all about shrinks dinks until you reminded me. I loved that, on top of so many others here. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. ❤️🇦🇺
You are so welcome and thank you for watching!
I had a lot of these toys growing up in the 70's! Thanks for the flashback.
You're welcome! They were awesome toys!
😂
I’m a picker who grew up in the 70’s. I’ve found most of these at one time or another. Always bring back amazing memories.
Some of them are big time collectors items so they would be good finds.
Ah...Thank you for this video. Brings back my childhood. I had several of those
toys you showed and played with some that my friends might have had that I
didn't.
You're welcome and thank you for watching!
Thanks for bringing back all those memories.
You're welcome and thank you so much for watching!
What a great video really took me back to my childhood and made me realise how lucky I was to live in that era 😁👍🏻glad I was born when I was and not in these modern times ❤️
I completely agree with you. I think many of these kids now days have missed out on the fun of pure playing and imagination. Thank you for watching.
That's for certain. I really feel sorry for today's kids who don't know anything but digital junk.
Born in 65!!!!! Great era!!
Oh, come on. Today’s consoles are way better than pong
@@robertloerwald3 lol they are mate
But I’m they were the good old days 👍
No ball playing in the house! Love Weebles! Evel Kneevel crashed way more than once. When he did big jumps my Dad would call us in to watch him on the Wide World of Sports!
Yes Evel crashed many times and way more than he probably even knew. He was super popular and one heck of a dare devil. Thank you for watching!
I thoroughly enjoyed that! It really brought me back 😃
Thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Oh wow! That sounds painful and I have never heard of someone doing that! Thank you for watching and sharing that story!
There were a lot of good toys from this decade! Thank you for watching!
This really takes me back to childhood. Even though I'll be 50 this year I still want to play with the toys again! I bet most of them are still in my parents' attic! Thanks for the memories!💜💙💗
I remembered almost every single one of those. Brought back a lot of dim and buried memories.
Thank you for watching.
We had the best toys ever. What a rad time to be a kid. Glad I was there.😆
It was a great time period! Thank you for watching!
Etch a schetch, creepy crawlets, spyrograph, shrinky dinks. Playdoe, and slinky. Remember these. I also had a green machine and big wheel.
I had pretty much all of these. Good times! I LOVED my Speak and Spell 💕
They were certainly great toys and it sounds like you had a great childhood! Thank you for watching!
Also popular during the 1970s was GI Joe with the kung fu grip, Big Wheels, color forms, and Super hero action figures.
GI Joe came out in 1964 and Big Wheels came out in 1969 so I have them in the 1960s decade video even though they still remained popular for decades. Thank you for watching!
and Big Jim.
@@jeffburnham6611 Big Jim, Big Jack, Big Jeff, Dr Steel. This brings back memories.
Green machine with that brake!
I had &/or played with darn near all of those!! Thank God I was raised in the 70’s & 80’s 😎
Thank you for watching Dan!
Awesome nostalgia right here. I had the Atari 2600, Rubik's Cube, and Simon Says. All super fun, but I remember the Simon Says taking a lot of big batteries haha.
Those were all great toys! Thank you for watching!
This was my favorite decade for toys. I remember getting that Atari 2600. That joystick killed my hand but I spent literal hours playing Atari. I gave a Simon to my granddaughter last year. My son ( her father) couldn’t put it down. And perfection!
There were some great toys from this decade and I definitely remember trigger button soreness and joystick blisters. Thank you for watching!
thanks for the great memories..raised in the 70s and 80s
You're welcome and thank you for watching!

The tracer gun was such a blast. The discs would get lost with all of us playing with it. You could get replacement discs though. We did a version of hide and seek where the seeker had the disc gun and needed to shoot the hider before they got to homebase.
That sounds like a fun addition to hide and seek! Thank you for watching!
Loved that gun!
Those things were awesome! I think the brand name was Zebra. My friends and I figured out that you could shoot pennies out of them as well. LOL. At least the older ones could, later in the 80's they started putting weaker springs in them, and finally stopped selling them around 1990 or so.
@@peterbelanger4094 I forgot about the pennies! We did the same thing. The springs were killer in the early models.
I to was a kid in the 1970's. And all of the toys that were in the video I remember. Thanks for the memories.
You're welcome and thank you for watching!
Takes me back to when I was a kid. I remember the Star Wars figures. They were difficult to find, at times. I think, I still have the vinyl box, with most of them in it? A lot of memories.
Those were awesome toys! I loved them. Thank you for watching!
And you still have the box , would they be worth anything today?
People forget how old star wars is 😁
@@briankreezan7843 yes ' in their box ' if both toys have been looked after 🤑
I remember begging my mom for baby alive. I spent hrs feeding and changing her! Great video!
Thank you for watching Barb!
70s really was a great time to be a kid.
Yes it was! Thank you for watching!
Pre-video push-button pocket games were such a big now-forgotten deal. As a kid in the 80s, we still had boxes of them around for many years.
Great memories, born in 1965 I was a true child of the 70s, had quite a few of these toys - ha! good ol' Slime! " Yeah! It's green and it... oozes! Neat-o! "
There were a lot of great toys in the 70s! Thank you for watching!
Hello from another 1965 model!👋
I was born in 1965 also I think that I remember some of the 70s not sure but I live in Australia any way so mabe
I had so many of these! Nerf football was my favorite! Had Weebles, and the Evel Kneivel stunt cycle I got for Christmas of '75.
So many more...
Wonderful memories...
There really were some great toys that came out of this decade! Netflix was and still is hours of fun! Thank you for watching!
These were the good old I had some of these toys growing up 70s and 80s when I was a kid was the best times
Thank you for watching Chriss!
OMG, this brings back so many great memories! Not just my childhood, but my kids as well. Thank you!
Thank you for watching and I'm happy to hear it brought back some memories!
I had Perfection and little professor. It was a maths game. I clean forgot about it until this video
Thank you for watching my friend!
i had the football version,i played it all the time
@@danparker1976 Played a lot if the football too, but it was always someone else's.
Born in 62, thanks for the memories.
You're welcome and thank you for watching!
My girlfriends brother had a stretch Armstrong,I stretched it so far that it wouldn’t go back I forgot all about that until now.
Did he ever find out you did that?
😂
I remember a buddy in the Navy using his renlistment bonus to buy an Atari 2600. Merry Christmas Retty and a Happy New Year
Wow! He was certainly determined to get it! That Atari was an amazing game system and I had hours and hours of entertainment from it. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. Thank you for watching!
@@RhettyforHistory Yep, I remember he bought several games with it also. He became a lifer and pulled 30 years or so.
It's definitely easier to find some of these old shipmates than it used to be. Hopefully you can get in touch with him.
Rhetty for History, i missed having these & 80s kind of toys.
Remember the Tonka Giggler egg shaped toy cars that came in all different colours and patterns? I had lots of those when I was a kid.
Ahhh..the 70's
As an early 80's kid, I played with most of this stuff. My childhood was cool.
Thank you for watching SkipNasty!
Another great toy was the Tyco race track! I though it was the greatest thing ever in all of existence! You squeeze the trigger faster and faster to make the car go faster! (at least that’s how I remember it)
I had one that had a dump truck and a diesel rig that was tyco. Thank you for watching!
@@EdsterIII I bet that TCR lost a lot of money for doing that! 1970's parents Did Not go for that kind of thing!
There were a lot of great toys in this decade! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate you watching!
I remember how that Slime smelled! Nasty lol 🤢
Those all sounds like good times and lots of fun. Thank you for watching and sharing some more memories!
I remember most of these games. Great times.
Crossfire kicked ass!👌
Born 1971 .I remember all these toys
Thank you for watching Ogauge Trains plus slot Cars!
I was born in 1983 and I just love the 60s, 70s, and 80s and always will.❤
Thank you for watching!
Born in 1973, had Every Single thing in this video, NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD
Whoever shared this thank you 🙏🏻 so many memories love it 😊
Thank you so much for watching!
This video is a grand-slam homerun!
Thank you for watching Tom!
Thank you so much Rhetty for History for uploading this great info video, I appreciate it
You're welcome and thank you for watching Michael!
I remember having balsa wood planes and I loved those. Thank you for watching and sharing more for us to remember.
the godzilla toy that cost $12, now sells for a couple hundred or so
Wow! A lot of things are like that from this time period. If we had only known we would have kept them! Thank you for watching!
I had one growing up ,then just 15 yrs ago i seen one at a garage sale and pick it up for $5 then later on i had to sell it made $300 on it
I enjoyed the memories of my growing up, I was born in 1964 so the 70s were a huge part of my youth, but you left out a few very important items, Hot Wheels and that crazy orange track were the little boys gold, and a whipping with the track could also be had, Whammo Frisbees was also a must and Lite Brite. The Yo Yo was also everywhere.
I do have those some of those in some toys videos in their respective decades when they came out. Thank you for watching!
OMG, we had every one of these toys! My stepmother bought them all! There were six of us kids, so we were constantly playing with these toys and games!
"Pretty sneaky sis!" Anyone else remember this?
Sounds familiar but I can't place it.
From a Connect Four commercial! I found it here on UA-cam!
