hutches are too small for rabbits, i recommend an x pen if you can’t free roam, theyre way less expensive and more spacious for the rabbit. also they don’t need water bottles, water bottles are uncomfortable for them to use because it puts their head in an un natural position, and they’re not very clean. you can just use heavy bowls for their food and water.
If a rabbit is dirty to where they cant clean them selves or if they or older, DO NOT wash them, use a damp cloth ans gently rub the areas that are dirty.

My pet rabbit has a whole house 😂 she can roam to our living room, or in the ailes, most her favorite place is in the dining area, where her litter box, bowl of water , grass, cabbage, and pellets can be found. Hutches actually are way to small, and are actually more expensive then playpens. Playpens give a great amount of space, but free roaming is SO much better!! Do not recommend any hutch, or cage whatsoever. Rabbits should use water bowls, and not water bottles because your rabbit can get very dehydrated, and it doesn’t reach your rabbits needs. Rabbits should NEVER take baths!! Never ever. Baths are so stressful for a rabbit, it could kill them. The only time you should bathe your rabbit is by your vet.
Rabbits actually don’t need baths, as they clean themselves. If there is ever a time you need to touch up their coat, you can use a pet wipe. Also, if you are comfortable, you can contact me on Amino Chats And Communities, and I could answer your questions there!! I know a lot about rabbits/small animals, and I am an advice giver there. ☺️
@@vivian.18x47 Cool! Well, the most important thing is doing your own research. I can give you some basic pieces of information, though! Enclosure: Rabbits should never be locked up in small cages or hutches! They should have at least 12 sq. inches of floorspace. For a cage, I would recommend either a C&C grid cage or a playpen. Diet: You can search up how much food you should feed your rabbit, but it basically just depends on the age. Baby rabbits should eat alfalfa hay and alfalfa pellets, but never feed adults alfalfa; it doesn't provide them with the nutrients they need. Your rabbit should always have access to unlimited hay; it helps with digestion and trims down their teeth. To sum up their diet: lots of hay, leafy greens (spring mix), and pellets. Remember that their teeth never stop growing, so provide them with lots of wooden chew toys! I also highly recommend a water bowl instead of a bottle, because rabbits drink a lot of water each day, and bottles usually gets clogged. Bowls are also easier to clean, and they provide the rabbit with a more natural way of drinking! Thank you for a reading this, and I hope you take all this information into consider to give your rabbit an amazing life! ❤

NO HUTCHES OR CAGES.... EVER. Go for an EXPen as a last resort. Many people don't know rabbits are easily litter trained if spayed and neutered. Can you keep them outside 24/7 and in the winter or? Someone please answer!! I’m getting one for my birthday and need to know everything in 3 weeks!! 😘
Yes, you can allow them outside. Rabbits are surprisingly tolerant of the cold since they grow a thicker coat in winter. Keep in mind that temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit may be too cold for them.
Try watching Lennon The Bunny! Also, I highly don't recommend housing your rabbit outside. Housing your rabbit outside can make them more prone to vulnerability, stress, heatstrokes, shorter lifespans, and more! There's also the risk of it being taken by a predator.
@@rowan0331 thank you this is very interesting. I am going to keep them in my play house but don’t worry it’s getting all rabbit safe and a big fence right round so they have enough space to run around free. We will have lots of toys and blankets for them to exercise with but also to keep warm! We are going into summer so I hope it won’t be too cold or warm for them (I’ve also got lots of hiding spots for them and shade spots) if I gets too cold in the winter then yes I will move them inside for a bit. Thank you 😌
honeyy_ jessica that’s not normal where did you get them a back yard breeder pet store? If so I don’t recommend getting your pets from those places I recommend trustworthy places or rescuing your pets!
The first time my rabbit arrives, I already put in the box with sand. I think she's intelligent coz from then, she poop and urine. She knows where, unless she isn't in a bad mood or else she would scatter her poop everywhere. But good she urinate always in the litter box. That's okay! You should try watching Lennon The Bunny on UA-cam; she gives great advice!
We are taught that we need to take rabbit by it's ears and support their but and they were most cooperative when we carry them this way.
My dad just surprised my little sister with a pair of rabbits. Knowing her, I'll end up taking care of them myself and so here I am. lol. Any more tips other than the ones on the vid?

What breeds are the most ideal…
Can you keep them outside 24/7 and in the winter or?
Someone please answer!! I’m getting one for my birthday and need to know everything in 3 weeks!! 😘
Yes, you can allow them outside. Rabbits are surprisingly tolerant of the cold since they grow a thicker coat in winter. Keep in mind that temperatures below 20 degrees Fahrenheit may be too cold for them.
@@AnimalWised ok thank you! 😊

Thank you 😌
@@aliceanimals Sounds great!
Can we skip hay and give them only Veggies?? Is it advisable?
No 80% of their diet needs to be hay
No! Hay is extremely important for their digestion! They can become very ill if not given unlimited amounts of it.
Suggestion: hedgehogs

How old are the bunnies? Do they live inside or outside?
this makes me sad because i had a dwarf bunny twice and they both died the second died 6 days after adopting them
honeyy_ jessica that’s not normal where did you get them a back yard breeder pet store? If so I don’t recommend getting your pets from those places I recommend trustworthy places or rescuing your pets!
Abbey Mcaffer oh i got mine from a pet shop in colombia for £15 :(
It could've been GI stasis. Please don't listen to this video, I recommend Lennon The Bunny or 101Rabbits for good rabbit info.
Sam Is Trash ohh :( okay
The first time my rabbit arrives, I already put in the box with sand. I think she's intelligent coz from then, she poop and urine. She knows where, unless she isn't in a bad mood or else she would scatter her poop everywhere. But good she urinate always in the litter box. Rabbit for me can be trained as what I observed with my own rabbit 😊
I need this guide cuz Once I bought a rabbit it was small but it suddenly Died After 2 or 1 week I was sooo sad Now I want to buy another one And I need to take good care of this one
