These tractor/firewood videos have always been some of my favorite content. Once again the grapple is a lifesaver, definitely the right tool for the job! Those are such beautiful oaks I hate that he has lost so many of them. Unfortunately that is just part of living in the south in hurricane country. You just deal with it as best you can and play the hand of cards you’re dealt. I’ve always hated cutting/dealing with leaners/widow makers also. You never can tell exactly what they’re going to do. Enjoy the cool snap that is coming up. Take care and God Bless!
Love watching you work in situations like this because you share your thinking on what you are going to do and if that works great and if it doesn't how you go from there....in situations like this you never know for sure what's going to happen, but you always think of safety first for yourself and for, in this case, the road so you dad doesn't have to fix that too. Good job! Andrew
Hi Andrew, that’s a big clean up job, nice you have the equipment to help out. That’s amazing those two trees that almost came down together, could be very dangerous. Good work Andrew!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Hi Andrew, Glad you changed your approach to felling those 2 trees, like you pointed out very dangerous situation there and like that you put logs on borders of driveway to transfer the weight of them coming down without any damage to the driveway. Very cool idea noted for just in case.. Glad you were able to help your parents out safely.
Hi Kelly, found the manual to ice maker, pushed the button for 5 seconds and cleaned inside like I always have and it’s 2 years old and working great again. I use bottle cooler water with no chemicals and it’s been a great machine. Was the first one you recommended. It’s ran 24/7 for about 2 year now. ❤. Looked online I found the site, but no ice makers.
Nice job safely taking down those two trees 👍, hope your dad can have a good time cutting firewood and making a few $ in the process. Both of you stay safe.
Andrew your mini excavator would have been great for this job but I understand you can only haul so much. Great video be safe and hydrated 👍 Them oak logs would look good on a woodmizer sawmill 🤔
Ummmmmmmm, I forgot them 😬. We took the debris to the side of the road because the area was declared a disaster zone after the hurricane. The state picks up the debris so it doesn't become a fire hazard. Hope you and your husband are doing well.
What moisture meter and moisture percentage do you recommend? My 8 & 10 yr olds are starting to sell small stacks in Woodville. I need to find some older fallen trees around here to get split and drying out!
Highly recommend this model, it's cheap and more importantly, the prongs don't bend like on other models I have used amzn.to/3AWVwW1 I like my moisture around 18% or below, you can still burn it ok when its a little higher.
I enjoy watching your videos...however...don't care if you are a pro or amature...your lack of not wearing chainsaw guards is down right irresponsible...
Do you ever drive without a seat belt? Ever drive over the speed limit, even by one MPH? We all take risks and do irresponsible things for the sake of convienance, being in a hurry, forgetting ect. Don't be so quick to judge.
Do you even own a chainsaw? After years of running one you don’t put yourself in a position you could get cut. Chaps slow you down and make you sweat profusely. Chainsaws are like guns if you aren’t comfortable running one put it down, if you’re scared of getting cut, call a professional.
The best way to take down trees like that is the safest way and you did that. Great job.
Glad you are able to help out your mom and dad. Good for staying safe while cutting down the leaner
Happy to help them.
It's nice to do a project if you have the equipment to use to make it easier👍.
Great work Andrew! Just like I would have done it!
Thanks
Saw the title and thought 'I wonder if he's going to do a plunge cut.' Looks like it worked out really well.
It sure did
Great work on that heavy leaner! Those can be very tricky, but you dropped them like a pro.
Thanks 👍
Good job! That was scary!
Thank you for watching
fuel fund! stay safe and see you guys sunday!
Wow Adam! That was so kind and generous of you! Thank you so much!
@@TKCL your welcome!

I miss firewood cutting in the mountains. It was always fun.
I love it
Great video as usually and the help for your dad is very much appreciated by all , just be safe ok
Thank you for watching
Two words for that tree felling video: “Pucker Factor”’!!!
Hi, Andrew! This was a very tricky situation. You are very brave.
That was a hairy job to say the least. Nice job saving the driveway too! Its getting cooler up here. Low 80s and 50s at night. Wont be long my friend!
That sounds perfect, especially the 50s! At least we are out of the 90s finally! Take care.

So glad it worked out the way it did.
The heck with the "experts".........Looks like you did an expert job to me.
Thanks, as long as I get it down safely I am happy.
Great video. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Thanks for watching!
Great work on those leaning trees.
Thanks 👍
Nice job, my two favorite words (cool snap) 👍
Mine too!
Bless you, stay safe!!!

Nicely done BUT WHERE THE HECK WERE YOUR CHAPS
I know your Dad appreciates you. It would have cost him a fortune to have someone come out and cut those trees down.
You're exactly right! Mom and dad absolutely appreciate it.
Andrew your mini excavator would have been great for this job but I understand you can only haul so much. Great video be safe and hydrated 👍 Them oak logs would look good on a woodmizer sawmill 🤔
True, but I definitely needed that grapple.
Would be some nice lumber in those trees!
Your new truck looks really nice. Where's your chaps???Why do you take the small limbs out to the side of the road?

Notch it and drop it, unless you have access to a bucket truck, worked many storms for the Va Power.
The good son did a great job and those were a little precarious for sure. Just curious, what were the postholes for?
More white decorative panels for mom.
We have lost so many beautiful oak trees around N Fl from the tornadoes and hurricanes.... doesn't even look the same. So sad.
It is sad!

Looks like your dad needs to talk to Mr. Larry from American CLS to go through all of that firewood.
if need be andrew could spare his dad one of his!
I'll be visiting this winter and helping 😉
@@TKCL thats awsone!
So you cut through just the middle starting more with the tip of the saw on the leaner?
Correct
🪵💪🚜
So why did you bore the 2 holes? Or maybe you said & I missed it
One solid bore all the way through. Keeps the tree from splitting.
Andrew , Andrew , yes road is protected but what about your legs . Where are the chaps you just did a video about them
In 2nd. Be safe. I know you have chaps, Andrew. 😂
😬
Safety sallies getting triggered
Doesn't take much to do it.

Don’t judge brother. If he doesn’t want to use one then he doesn’t want to use one.
