@@jimmylives that’s what ya’d expect to think, however in reality they’re wearing flip flops for sure or some form of sandals. I was a operations manager for a scrap metal recycling company and one of our biggest buyers of meatballs (inner stator, rotor and windings of electrical motors) was India, our owner actually married a model from India and her family’s name held weight in power and industry. Anyway the owner my best friend and myself took a trip to India to see how they proceed material and those guys were cracking open electrical motor with a 5lbs mini sledge while hold the motor between their feet while wearing flip flops. You couldn’t even imagine how disgusting and filthy a scrap yard is either, it’s like the worst of the worst. Prob only cost em’ 1toe to learn how to swing a hammer
@@warewolf2304 I have first hand knowledge of these workshops and tool rooms. They wear shoes although of subpar quality but they do. Can't say same thing about scrapyard. They are filthy.
@@jimmylives yeah true I shouldn’t say all of them but man I was shocked to see those conditions over there. Indian people are by majority pretty smart, ya tend to see them in either tech or medical and often run there own business, which makes me wonder why their country in most parts is third world (for lack of a better word) and have very little infrastructure
Or maybe it’s a certain radius they need specifically for a slide to fit part or so. Either way not using any stops and you can see it’s crooked as fuck lol.
The blade is already bent. Putting it in 90° alignment would not make a difference! Still wouldn't make the quality of their work any better if the machine was brand new!
They are using the WRONG top die! Probably putting too much stress on the die and risking fracturing the material that they are bending. I'm just guessing but I think that the machine is running at over recommended capacity. Nothing dangerous going on here! Not one person is wearing safety glasses. OMG!
That guy with his hand on it the whole time has probably never heard a die shatter, or seen how far the shards shoot. Though I'm not familiar with the 3 way dies, maybe they break more consistently? I don't know, scarry stuff. I hated forming large sheets.
I bet they are all doing this in flip flops
They have shoes because small pieces of burr.
🤣🤣

During the bend, the utility bill doubles
More like Quadruples
That sounded a lot like the Terminator movies’ background ‘music’.
Why does he keep his fingers on it like he’s somehow doing something? Lmao
Dude still holding plate: can't let skynet take all the credit
Use a bigger bottom die. Your radius will still be the same, the press will just have an easier time squeezing it in there.
English pls me dumb
@@dragonsden4148 what don't you understand.

Top smaller dye being 90° btw and bigger being 88°.
V should be 8X thickness minimum.
Don’t know how they could have finished without that one guy leaving his hand on it
😂😂😂😂
He's just checking that nothing goes wrong
He's probably the one that has the pedal so he has to stay close. I used to run one of these brake presses.
What in the punjabi OSHA violation is this
Hahaha
"Sheet"
Exactly what I thought too. Lol
"Samir you are breaking the bar"
100+ ton hydraulic press: *working full throttle to bend the sheet*

Hydraulics are amazing!
And those hydraulics suck
@@atowns3364 yeah...those ones are about 1 step up from cables and winch systems.
@@garpikemike1 I thought it was a giant mechanical break with a flywheel until I heard the hydraulics
I bent a metal plate this thick before.
Took me 3 years but it was worth it
Terrible quality... Edges all bent up and gouged. No back stop on the press or measuring done. Just terrible.
I don't think it was even squared off? Lol
You can see that they put the top die on a mark. It was pre-measured and marked.
Great work ,thank you for this video.
That's more like plate metal bending!
Sheet of plate steel crazy power
Как бы сказал доктор, фольга 8 миллиметров.
The die is in offset position please make sure that the die set in 90' proportion to the punch
Oh yeah, good eye

I saw that and I thought the punch looked awfully long for that thick of steel
That looks significantly thicker than 8mm. More like 12mm?
we're bending 1" only two persons that one is rediculous😂😂😂
I working 28mm
Amazing machine, Great work

I use to work in a GK sheet metal factory, on a brake just like this
I used to work for woven metal in Alvin Texas on the break press just like this
Nice so heard worked
Press brake. Almost broke my right arm using one of these.
I ran the largest power brake ever made was 13 stories tall we formed 6 inch thick aluminum on it
Damn that sounds cool.

Where is the back-gage? How are the keeping the material lined up? Maybe they should consider air bending instead of bottom bending.
