If there are high surface finish requirements when press brake/edge bending, the Swedish product Tribotextil™ can be applied in the pressing/bending tool and mechanically protect the sheet metal from scratches and other damages. Tribotextil™ is an extremely thin and very strong textile that in this process replaces lubricants in the tool.
Hay un dicho que dice: La necesidad hace al ingenio. Y aca esta muy bien reflejado ese dicho..!! Felicitaciones a los que creadores y diseñadores de todos esos mecanismos y de tantos modelos de matrices.!! Excelente.!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Mixed feelings about the tools, some of them are amazing but other bends can be recreated with common press tools and doesn't need specialized tools. But still, it is a great video to show the possibility of the tools
What's the point of 3:50 ? you can make the same part with any radius tool, and in 4:20, why is the top tool made out of 2 pieces, It looks like you could get the same fold if it was in 1 piece.
@@griffinphilemon5083 I get that, but that single fold is just basic break press operation, it doesnt speed up anything, I'm just trying to understand what would be the benefit of doing it that way...
cool shapes... but im trying to wrap my head around where tooling like this would fit in a production process. i could see maybe forming special shaped flat springs etc. But cant think of much else. Any production engineers or designers out there care the elaborate on the application for this tooling?
alot of those bends would require re positioning of the piece (or die changes) , it really depends on how many pieces you are going to run. specialized dies like this are incredibly expensive.
Machines like this (but usually much bigger) are used any time something is made from stamped sheet metal. Handguards for exhaust systems, metal roofing, car body panels, laptop shells or PC towers, heavy duty park benches, stair treads, anything.
The engineering that goes into these is batshit fucking crazy, I mean my god. I have a project where I want to try and do some much simpler stuff but man, trying to design something like this...
People think its the machines that are so amazing . The person who designed that is a genius 👏
Nothing wrong with admiring the machines they designed. Unless ofcourse they were designed by some AI software . We should fear it in that case
My grandfather designed package machinery back in the 50's, mind-bending stuff.
the cinematography ought to win an award
I loved working for Ready Technology. Those rotary benders are so simple. Easy to engineer, setup, and use.

Makes me wish I needed this special type tooling!
Really surprised by the amount of engineering that goes into these things, very clever.

Good work!!! We also have rich experience in sheet metal fab, we are a strong manufacturer in China, with high quality and competitive price.
I am metal worker. Never seen this. Really good job.

Perfect engineering, video, and music.
Музыка понравилась ну и станки шикарные :)

Just thinking this same thing. Unless im making 10,000+ units, these are somewhat needlessly complicated.
That's what I thought
Think the same. Standard-well known types of tooling in hand of somebody experienced are amazing. Step bending comes to mind.
@@vintageludwig I'm pretty sure this company caters to mass production.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj UKB sell standard tools and special tools. As do I at Mate Tooling
Very interesting video -- must be a great job for a mechanical engineer.
Классные приспособления. И музыка классная.
Is you are using different dies in a single machine for making different shapes of brackets
Mmm... A pleasing video of metal forming
Wow where is this machine tools available
man, this is the kind of toy i want at my job :)
This video is very impressive. Of course, the music was also very influential. I wish I knew its composer.
wow, genialer Werkzeug. Hat mich wirklich beeindruckt.
Good job as always!
Good god, this just made it on to my want list.

I'm assuming most of this tooling is designed for major production.... pure pedal pushing and repeatability.

What is material for fabrication mechanical system?? Type inox??
they are crazy just amazing
How much ... lengths available and tonnage capacity details .. outstanding just what the industry needs
Did you find more information about it?
So satisfying.... comfortable
I have no use for one of these currently, but I seriously want one anyway hahaha
While using this tooling how do you use a back gauge if you can even use one?
Very Fine work, liked it.
Wir fertigen than standard oder producing more standard?
Great video guys thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

Brilliant job dear
Watching it work makes it fairly easy to understand , but would be near impossible to design out of the blue, nothing at all to go by, or modify.
