Just ordered two of these new SRL-Mesh from you guys, for our new Shoei Neotec II, for me and my wife. Can't wait to get them! :) Great review by the way!
Ah yes, another "review" that makes no mention of the actual performance of the unit. How does it sound at highway speeds with plugs in? How's the volume? Do they still sound "tinny" like all the other Senas? There's lots of complaints on the non-mesh model about the poor audio volume.
Thanks for watching and the feedback! The new speakers by Harmon Kardon are significantly louder and with more bass than previous SRL units. While the MESH is a nice upgrade, the primary reason they rolled the new unit out is the audio quality, because as you mentioned that was an issue on the previous unit. Sena actually rolled out new speakers for most of their line over the past 12 months to keep up with the competition.
No, Bluetooth intercom connection is the best you can do across brands. As things stand mesh capabilities are brand dependent. This is a sad result of proprietary mesh technologies and corporate unwillingness create a single, open source standard. We hope this will change down the road, but we're not holding our breath.
The Sena SRL Mesh is not a very good Sena unit I would avoid this unit. Have been thru 2 in 8months on my wife's helmet when our other Sena units have no issues. This model just stops working after a few months. And Sena support these days is horrible in response. My trouble with this unit has made me consider Cardo and take time to write this comment to help others avoid it.
Most people would like to hear the difference in audio quality between slr2, slr mesh and other standalone systems. Also how is the usability compared to standalone systems as there is no wheel on this just buttons. Do Voice commands function well? Are the buttons easy to press with gloves on or are you struggling?@@SpeedAddictsTV
Pick it up today. Sounds great.
Gonna get myself a neotech 2 helmet, glad this is out.
Good pick, the Neotec II is one of the finest modular helmets on the market. When paired with the SRL-Mesh, you'll defiantly have a killer ride!

Great video and did wonder what the difference was from the original SRL 2. Thanks for clarifying 😊
The SRL 2 did not have mesh capabilities.

I agree not one review on the sound quality.
Do SENA do a remote control for the SRL Mesh system for Shoei helmets ?
I don't believe they have one just yet!
Good afternoon dear.
Congratulations on the video.
What can you tell me about the battery life of this equipment.
Hey Edwardo, you're looking at around 8 hours of talk time with bluetooth or mesh, and a charging time of 2.5 hours.
@@SpeedAddictsTV excellent 👍🏼
You’re the best!
Thanks
Can the new sena mesh system connect to the packtalk bold mesh?

Hey is there any other option besides Sena for neotec ll that will fit in the provided cut outs? Thanks
Unfortunately no. You can install a different unit outside the cut outs.
Imagine hooking up 24 people in your ear 🤣that would do my head In.
Thanks for watching!
@@SpeedAddictsTVthanks for reminding me what I said 7 months ago 😂
