Really great idea for a series, after my classes in control theory I was thinking I should try to do a breakdown like this. A lot of the content on RC stuff on UA-cam is too goal-driven rather than theory-driven. I know you're not getting a lot of views on this but keep up the good work.
Hey this really means a lot, thank you! There's an expanse of videos on FPV quadcopters that are purely about flying and tech reviews, but less so for more theoretical videos - which is what I'm trying to address :) I'm glad you like it, I'll be uploading my next video this week!
Soon will be starting my master's building a flight controller. Thank you for the intro to the basics, it's exactly what I need before delving deeper.

Just subscribed! Actually, I wanted to do this myself but I have no time atm. I am really looking forward to see how you implement your control.
GL!
Thank you :) yep have some interesting plans for this one, including quaternion representation of rotations and feedback linearisation!
Is it possible to compensate for the centrifugal force of a MEMS axel/gyro without GPS?
The site is not working 😑
Same for me!
