One thing that I found fascinating about this world is that all lots are well connected and there are well designed parking spots, almost as if this world was designed with cars in mind.
Which is even more dumb considering that being a magical world, spellcasters wouldn't use cars lol My guess is that this world was planned for something else and was repurposed
I don't think debug plants are cheating. It's almost the only way to get the same environmental touches in the world. The build/buy just doesnt cut it to make the lot blend in.
Debug is life. That's how I make all my starter homes. And I don't stick to just vegetation either. It's great for clutter and sometimes even usable objects (like the $25 eco lifestyle bed). You can't tell me that's not a perfect bed for a starter home. lol
Geez, and I thought that that other Realm of Magic house with the missing door looked hideous. You've definitely done the lot justice, as always. Also first...
I thought the realm of magic is ugly too but then I realised that it is art nouveau just poorly executed och and also I have to say I LOVE when people use debug plants cuz I can place the lot unfurnished and not have to deal with landscaping. I hate landscaping lol
Your little cottage looked adorable, and I was seriously impressed with your pond! (I also have pond tool issues so I rarely mess with it even though I like ponds.) The Realm of Magic world is my favorite, most used world, but I hate every house in it; they are all so very awkward.
Always building with the starting funds only so there are a few hack-y things to do. Of course debug and liveedit. There are a few swatches of color for the 0$ concrete floor. Can make a cute checkered kitchen/bathroom floor. Ctrl+F for half tiles and you can make a pretty cool pattern if you're creative. Only use the 2$ wall paints or paper. Platforms are free with a good many decent swatches for edging. Could raise the fireplace one lvl and edge it for free without the fence. One big money saver is stairs. Place stairs then replace them with one of the suspended ones then replace them again with the ones you like. The side walls won't be there but you'll be refunded hundreds of simoleons. If the stairs are low-ish and outside you can frame with free liveedit bushes and you'll never see the sides. If you like the minimalist aesthetic use the free low-set slatted debug fence to frame porches and balconies. There are a good many windows that are super cheap and can be used to create a nice interior instead of the more expensive wall art. Or you can download some unique art from the gallery that is normally much cheaper than in game art and it doesn't count as moded. There are some nice wall objects that can be used instead of artwork that are much cheaper. Mirrors are also cheaper than artwork. Get a debug rug for free and enlarge it. Also lots of free objects in debug and liveedit that can be used for wall art and home deco. Anyway, that's just the basics off the top of my head.
Ok so i actually went over to reddit and i was so shocked at the chronically online people over there 😂 i was like this person cant possibly be serious oh my im glad you dont give a shit satch
I love you for saying the world we’re in is trash. It’s not Karen behaviour to ask for for reasonable things, like non-broken products. Karen behaviour is asking for unreasonable services and products and failing to empathize or be self-aware. But hearing you complain about problems we face every day, such as how garbage products are, now, gives me life. 😂 If I’m a Karen because a 30-day exchange policy is not enough for a product that costs me a weeks’ worth of wages then so be it.
Thank you for bulldozing that rather sad house. The world needed that Snow White-inspired cottage! Use debug plants all you want. That's the only way to really fit into the world around the build. Haters gonna hate, but you know what they can do...
"Fixing the ugliest Sims 4 house ever" - more like deleting the ugliest Sims 4 house ever 🤣 "I'll only use base game and Realm of Magic" - uses base game, Realm of Magic, Cottage Living and Get Together 😭 "I'm gonna try not to be too over the top (with debug)" - builds a whole goddamn forest with debug 💀 I'm seeing a pattern here lmaoo
GORGEOUS. It would be really cool If you tried to reform it trying to let a little bit of the original, tho. It would add a bit more chalenge, it would be cool to watch :)
My apple laptop is... 6?... years old. Just had to replace the battery for the very first time. Can I play fancy graphically intensive games? No. But I have partitioned it so it can run Windows and Mac OS natively (yes, I specifically bought the last generation of apple laptop that could do that ;;>..
Omg don't! The dream weavers house in strangerville actually annoyed me with how quickly they just threw stuff in there. The layout didn't even make sense
Okay, I've seen Simmers use this trick a lot lately and I can't seem to figure out how it works! How do you hide the roof to add a platform underneath in 4:13? Is there a certain key combination you use? Otherwise great and funny video as always, Satch!
Okay, it's been a long time since I played Sims 4...but what would the point of having walls in front of the fireplace even be? And why is it a "hack" to these walls that shouldn't be there in the first place?
You are absolutely correct. Everything is going to shit. But electronics going to shits faster and on purpose. Even prestige “privileged” brands are made to live for a year or three and then to be replaced to new model of the same brand. That will also fail in a few years. Like I have a iphone from 2019 and most of the modern game are lagging on it and it’s battery slowly getting worse. But I consider myself lucky. Because my friend bought more expensive models of iphones and I remember how they will go once in every month or two to repair services. It was official and free. They sometimes even get their phones replaced with new ones. But those would also break within few months 💀 And here my grandma with a fridge she’s bought in Soviet Union that still works. Works horribly, but that just because it’s out of date. But it never break once.
Yeah it's how it is. Here in Germany they're about to implement a new system (like in a year I believe, but companies had to prepare a while) against it where the companies have to have all the replacement parts stuff for older models as well so people fix their phones more instead of buying new ones. But honestly it's useless since I'm prob gonna pay in comparison more for a new battery than a new phone. Not to mention getting them to do it quickly enough and not like in 2 months. Even a week is too much, people need their phones
"fixing this house" deletes the entire lot rofl
That’s the only way to fix it lmao
Sometimes it's best to just start over 😂
the og was a lost cause
Yeah exactly what I thought. Was a but disappointed so I'm going to go fix it myself in my game 😊
the original was such a tragedy it needed deleting

This house looked like my sims 2 builds from 10 years ago💀
Yes! That's what it reminds me of😅
The Tudor homes in sims 2 are so cute. It’s my favourite style, I want a Tudor home one day. 😢❤
Don't insult your building skills like that
I don't think debug plants are cheating. It's almost the only way to get the same environmental touches in the world. The build/buy just doesnt cut it to make the lot blend in.
I wasn't expecting a Satch-Karen rant today, but I am glad we got it haha. Preeeeaaaach
Satch causing controversy by using one bed. The world is shooketh!

Also first...
A gazebo!!
So cute. I love this build
I thought the realm of magic is ugly too but then I realised that it is art nouveau just poorly executed och and also I have to say I LOVE when people use debug plants cuz I can place the lot unfurnished and not have to deal with landscaping. I hate landscaping lol
Your videos are so entertaining, and I love your little chuckle 😃 also love the bathrobe vibe 😁🩷
Yes loovvvve the cozy robe vibes~*
You made it look so much better omg, I can't believe the original build got approved.
The Chateau Peak lot in Del Sol Valley is just as tragic😭
Your little cottage looked adorable, and I was seriously impressed with your pond! (I also have pond tool issues so I rarely mess with it even though I like ponds.)

Okay but that rant about how expensive everything is mid build is so real 😂
When you build it’s my favorite thing ever to watch please do more!!🫶🏻
For sticking within the budget, this little cottage is perfect.
Debug saves my ass every time I'm using a budget, but I want my house to look pretty 😂😂 so I'm with you, Satch!!! 👌🏻😂❤
Ok so i actually went over to reddit and i was so shocked at the chronically online people over there 😂 i was like this person cant possibly be serious oh my im glad you dont give a shit satch
Stop apologizing and build whatever tf you want 😂
Omg I thought it's sims 2 or 3 this house look ancient 💀
I love you for saying the world we’re in is trash. It’s not Karen behaviour to ask for for reasonable things, like non-broken products. EA makes it hard to create a base game home that looks upscale, I think you did good with that budget.
Thank you for bulldozing that rather sad house. The world needed that Snow White-inspired cottage! Use debug plants all you want. That's the only way to really fit into the world around the build. Haters gonna hate, but you know what they can do...
I think it's very quaint! 💝 But I have to say; I freaking LIVE for debug foliage!
House is so cute ❤ didn't know about the roof thing! Thanks!
Finally a build I can use that uses packs I have. Thank you Satch! Also thank you for showing me the roof tip.
The OG house looks like something I’d make when i was like 6 & new to the sims 😭😭
I love your Karen rants and when you give advice to us and you get real
The paved garden path is for when it’s muddy out!!
Here for the rants always❤
Love this! More Satch builds, please 😍
I feel like you yearn for a Snow White build with infinite budget. Do it! Do it! Do it!
Lol...fixing the ugliest house ever. " Demolishes lot and builds a different house" 😂
I like your starter house! You did in 15 minutes or so what the Sims team could not ... 😂
I Always replace these lots with some renos I did of them back when Glimmerbrook first came out.
This whole pack pisses me off it could have been so much better. It was just sad.
YESSSS love your builds! Much love from Brasil.
"Fixing the ugliest Sims 4 house ever" - more like deleting the ugliest Sims 4 house ever 🤣
"I'll only use base game and Realm of Magic" - uses base game, Realm of Magic, Cottage Living and Get Together 😭
"I'm gonna try not to be too over the top (with debug)" - builds a whole goddamn forest with debug 💀
I'm seeing a pattern here lmaoo
I love how indecisive he is in every build video, it makes him more enjoyable to watch imo. 😆
I just wanted you to shrink the house the whole build lol. Starter homes are tiny, no space places.
While I liked the buid, I should say that demolishing and building anew is not fixing...
I uninstalled the sims 4 on my laptop so I have more disc space for other games. Lol
I thought it was a sims 3 starter home in the thumbnail
Hey sis this looks great U can be proud of this one
"I'm going into a Karen mode okay" 🤣🤣
GORGEOUS. It would be really cool If you tried to reform it trying to let a little bit of the original, tho. It would add a bit more chalenge, it would be cool to watch :)
The fact that nothing matches ismy biggest peeve with TS4. I hate that we cant change colours and patterns like in sims 3 😩
I had my sim me move there and I had to renovate the house no wonder no sim wants to live there what an eyesore lol
My apple laptop is... 6?... years old. Just had to replace the battery for the very first time. Can I play fancy graphically intensive games? 2:16 Does any other pack have thatched rooves? I feel like you'd need to use cottage living just for the roof.
Okay, I've seen Simmers use this trick a lot lately and I can't seem to figure out how it works! How do you hide the roof to add a platform underneath in 4:13? Is there a certain key combination you use?
Otherwise great and funny video as always, Satch!
You need to put down the walls completely, I think you can use the “end” key on your keyboard to hide the walls
@@Silyeu Thank You!! :)
Wait, using debug plants slows down the game???
How di you do the downsize thing with objects like trees etc?
Okay, it's been a long time since I played Sims 4...but what would the point of having walls in front of the fireplace even be? And why is it a "hack" to these walls that shouldn't be there in the first place?
guys is it save to play in rental residental after e-patch, i'm scared
I agree completely with your roast , please rant more . X
My brain already dead 💀 😅
control C Is there nothing it cannot do? With or without it's buddy control V. Thank you PC gods.
.cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you… Greetings Jörg
I’m not a great builder but dang lol 😂😭
Love it
Satchie is my parasocial love. Nothing my husband can do about it.
I'm not sure why but I cannot take you seriously your Karen mode is so funny to me😂 god I hope that's the vibe ur going for
is that vape

The "german walls" weren"t on the ground level. They were built on the fist floor (second for american counting). On ground level are simple walls.
you could have made the build smaller.....
Made a better shell but furniture placements need work xD.
