1. Agreed with you on the p*rn, 100%. Its so normalized and its weird!!! 2. Ceiling fans usually have a built in light fixture! So its a 2 in 1 and there are cords that come of it to turn the light and fan on and off
Thanks for the truth bomb about the “corn” lol I feel like more people need to consider the effect on their health. It should be talked about more for sure.
Omg. The lamps having cords has blown my mind. Your absolutely right!!! That will be in my mind from now on when I build, I'll be putting lamps near walls for the plugs....
Wow, I didn’t realize ceiling fans weren’t everywhere. The ceiling spinning thing is a ceiling fan. There is normally a light in the center so that is also your ceiling light. It works like a normal fan but has two setting to either cool the room by pushing the cold air down, or warm the room by pushing the warm air down. Don’t ask me how it spinning in a different direction make this work, but it totally does.
Warm air rises. So down to cool and reversing it pushes the warm air up, across the ceiling, and down the walls. In Australia it is often used in addition with air-conditioning. Mostly to move air around the room. I love that your builds look more realistic.
@@Doctor_Winter as soon as I read your explanation I rolled my eyes at myself. Oh duh, I totally knew that 😂 I’ve only had ceiling fans in my bedroom before. I’m in the US

This lot IRKS me. Del sol valley would’ve been the perfect world to have that one celebrity neighborhood be the biggest lots in the game with this small neighborhood consisting of a bunch of tiny lots. Glad I have for rent now bc I built a motel for this world and it just fits so well

Yes, ceiling fans generally come with lights attached to them hanging down just under the blades. Older models usually have cords hanging down from them, one to turn the light on and off, and one or two to control the speed and direction of the fan. Also I live in Canada which is arguably as cold as the UK, and they are pretty common here. Usually only used in the summertime, though.

Also never thought I would hear crackhouse while watching a normal Sims 4 video
I made a big house and a separate living quarters for the butler on that lol
Del Sol Valley's set dressing buildings make me think that world should've been named Uncanny Valley because every one of them looks fine until you realise how off they are
Kids stuff everywhere! Me, literally looking at my bedroom littered with kid's toys😂
I used to feel bad about roofing until I started just looking at houses and stuff in real life. Like, nothing people are doing in the Sims is ANYWHERE as messy as real life roofing, I promise.
I’ve almost never used them or bought them but half the places I lived had bars, not rich, just moved in places with bars
the house before it's done up reminds me of walter whites house from breaking bad..
I also have modified 🙂😄 that house. You're like me, you hate how little those who take our money have worked on the game.😄
There are actually quite a lot of American homes with bars in them 😂.... and sometimes ones that don't have them from back in the day (50s-80s) build them in if the owners have the money ... Idk why it's such a big thing, part of me assumes from the prohibition when everyone couldn't go to bars anymore but I'm not a bar history buff lol
I was waiting for wall paint :D
>Someone places this lot
>Their sim starts putting away toys :))))))) lol
Ceiling fans in the US usually have lights on them. I literally can’t live without them, I’d melt.but I agree, I hate the ones in the sims!
yes the fan and light are combined :) we call them ceiling fans
