Hey mate good to see some new videos from you and awesome new toys *ahem* tools! Let us know what's the best address we will get a sticker sent to you for your wall 😎👍
Great to see you back. I suggested to Prezzo to get in touch with you about the DRO as I'm sure others did too. You're both great creators, thanks for the brilliant content!
I nearly bought a Kondia Powermill before I got the Bridgeport. I have since read that they are one of the better clones out there. Glad the TouchDRO is running. I'll let Yuriy know that two of the four are live. Thanks for the promo👍
Thanks for the DRO unit and your great videos Yeah I've yet to actually use the mill so far. I had a VFD blow up on me (I didn't bypass the switching relays on the first few tests)
Jeez this is awkward... 😏 it's been a while.... 😏 Just kidding! Congrats on the shop upgrades! 😀 Can't imagine how cold it must get in.... Australia? 🤣 Thanks for the update, Tom. Glad to here your doing well 😁. Cheers!
Down here in Tasmania it gets to about freezing point at the lowest, but as a result many buildings arent well insulated or heated because it's tolerable. I met someone from Swedan and interestingly they thought it was colder here than Sweden due to the lack of heating
G'day Tom and welcome back mate. Making some really nice alterations to your workshop. Looking forward to seeing you what you're coming up with next. Thanks for showing my sticker on your board too. Please send me some of yours please so I can reciprocate. Cheers, Aaron.
We'll see once this one is up and running I do want to make a riser block for the Hercus first. That has been on the to do list for about 4 years and is half finished
@@TomMakeHere I have an old 9" hercus lathe, which so far does what I need, but have always wanted a hercus mill to complete the capabilities. Sadly most of the old school ones were scrapped when schools changed direction. Some got listed for tender, but you need to be in the loop and sadly most of the time the extra tooling gets lost. I'd like to tap your brain juices sometime for tips on the tooling you use for the 9" lathe. I'd love to have collets, be able to cut metric threads etc, but am not sure what is compatible.
@@TomMakeHere Yeah. It’s hard at times sorting where you want bits to be. I have had strangles getting things right in the past. I think I got mine setup how I like it now. Great to see you back anyway!!
Yeah. The most handsome "sticker" in the middle 🥳.
Welcome back buddy!
In my head, I just pronounce it "Charlie M" and I wonder if that's even close.
Can we get one of your handsome stickers mate? 🤣👍
Indeed it is!
Thanks!

I'll flick you an email via the info one on your website
Yes they are toys compared to your tools 😁
So, during the update, the bottle just spitted on you? Tsss... You give them a bit of freedom and this is what you get in return...
It is most disrespectful. But if I give it a hug it spits even worse!

Thank you for the support 😁
It's pronounced "Caramel."
The taste is right but not the color.
Ha ha
Very cool Tom. Was curious what you had been up to. The AL960B looks like a good lathe, I have been considering buying one as well.
I would seriously recommend it
Watching Matty's Workshop convinced me it was a good machine

Mine will almost certainly be the last up and running, but it will be up and running - 100% certain of that. :)
Thanks for the DRO unit and your great videos

Welcome back Tom. Keep them coming mate. Aaron.
Will do
Making rotary broaches?
Yes, but I'm having a bit of a break. I'm getting limited workshop time right now

Good to see you back on our screens... looks like you've been keeping really busy... See you on the next one...
Take care.

Thanks Paul 👍
Finally a new video! I was quite concerned about your UA-cam absence
Things have gotten busy
I'll see if I can actually upload more videos than Clickspring this year 😂
@@TomMakeHere haha good one, hear that Chris ? 😜
What a neat mill. Nice score. I'd love to adopt the hercus when you're done with it.

Nice to find another Ozzie maker ch.
Cheers mate!
Kondia is Clausing. As good a mill as any in its class.
It's a great machine!
The 960b is a good lathe, I would've bought it if I had the room and budget :)
It is a great machine
I do plan on a few upgrades to the motor and to add a foot brake eventually
Hope to see more of your content!
Another week or 2 and I'll have something new 😁

Thanks! More to come!

Nice workshop!
Thanks! I'm starting to get to a set up that I'm happy with
